- Hello everyone! Today I'm back with my most requested video on instagram, which is how I take notes. Please note that this is not class notes, but the type of notes that I take at home from a textbook, video lecture etc.

You can write neatly, you have to practice. It can take a while, also it depends on your energy, if your tired, your hands are going to be tired from writing neatly. Finally, writing neat notes can take quite a while, so patience is needed.
Ps: I hope I am not the only boy with neat handwriting.

Thank you!! I look at a diagram as I draw it, and then I simply colour it in using some brush pens :)

You make 'taking notes' fun. I'm actually starting to enjoy designing my notes in my free time. I don't get bored reviewing my notes when it's neat and pretty. The only thing I need now is money for markers and pastel highlighters xD

I just want to thank you studytee, my grades were okay during my first semester but my teachers would always comment on my handwriting and my poor note taking. After watching and learning from you, in a month my handwriting had gone from completely illisible to neat and tidy. My notes were so much better and I went from about being in the middle of the class to top by the end of the year. Thank you so much for helping me get back on track.

I am a visual learner! So I tend to use diagrams alot to help me. I am from India and I am a big fan of you.... Here,we don't get good stationary like mild liners, finelers etc....could you please mention the links of the products you are using from amazon...because amazon is the only thing we can access... We don't even get the spiral notebooks which you use and many other.....

Dhanashree Patil almost everything she uses you can find on amazon! Midliners, Muji, Pentel, etc are on amazon and same with her notebooks!

Yeahh i always do the same thing. Cus i can't study propperly if the text are messy so i always make sure my notes always well-organized. But i can't draw as well as yours wkwk
Hey right now, my highschool is sending us textbooks in pdf format, and I've found that Adobe Acrobat really really really helps to make notes in the margins, highlight, almost everything you can do with a textbook.

Does anyone have any good tips on how to modify this for an English Lit student? I can't really do pretty diagrams and my notes tend to be a lot more sprawling and random :P
Darling, once you get into the University you won`t have time enough for taking those beautiful notes. I hope you find a quicker method!
Once I got into uni I quickly learnt that taking notes over and over and reading it over was ineffective and not time efficient. At least for me, everyone learn differently. I used active recall mainly, if I don’t remember something there’s always lecture slides to fall back on to. But I’ve saved sooooo much time once I switched studying style, not too mention, my grades improved as well. Oh yes, and use learning objectives of each lectures to your advantage.
Finishing my undergrad soon, going into master of neuroscience next year 🤩🤩
My partner is current studying for entrance exam to get into medical school. He was the one who introduced me to active recall, it really does him wonder.
At the end of the day, everyone has their own way of doing things so stick to whatever works 😌

The notebook is from white lines paper! I bought it in a local bookstore, but you can check out their website to see if it's sold in your country :-)
