I love this. I’ve been trying to take good notes but sadly in my school it goes very very fast and I don’t even have enough time to write the key words. But I think I did good in online classes since I took screenshots and summarised it later. I am practicing. Hopefully this would be useful in the future when I reread stuff. Your notes are very pretty and I love your handwriting btw
You could write it down in a messy way in class and then write it down pretty at home

You could get one of those voice recorders to record your lessons and play them back. Helps with studying and notes
@@sarahs-camera yup it helps because you can pay attention in class and catch every point.
I note every thing down “roughly” in class, and then copy the important points down on my neat notebook.
Tbh this is the best note-taking video yet that i have ever watched on youtube after finding for so long because this is way more simple, neat, and easy. plus i thought i was the only one who uses chisel tip of the highlighter for titles and im glad that im not the only one.

i actually use this type of writing structure and i’m actually able to do it while i am in a lecture . since i can understand what my teacher is saying , they talk in a normal pace so it is easier for me to take simple aesthetic notes while learning ! !

I can use this in any subject, my school provides the book so we leave them there overnight and my science teacher is really strict.
Every time I use I highlighter or give one to my friend she peers over us.

I use the Campus notebooks (they look to be the same as the muji ones to me) and LOVE them! I also started using your favorite pen back when I worked in the hospital for all the reasons you said. Love it. A good pen is EVERYTHING 😂 I also have used those highlighters for about a year or so and love them as well. Nice, soft colors 😍
Here's what I do (for myself and also if ppl want to read it):
- Simple block title with highlighter and outline in pen or write cursive over it
- Main point w/ a dash and/or highlighted (might switch to just highlighted this year)
- Extra information is letters (point a, b, c, etc.)
- Extra info after that is a hollow bullet point (idk I just don't link filled bullet points)
- Extra after THAT (which I rarely use except for science) is roman numerals
- For formulas (math/science) I skip a space, write it out (sometimes in a diff color to make it stand out) and box it
- For diagrams, I either do the same as formula or if I don't have space (wrote and then teacher came back to it), I write it off to the side.
I used to write in JUST pencil and highlighter last year but a) it got too hectic trying to erase/rewrite, b) obviously looked very boring, and c) smudged my highlighters often. Switching over to nice pens and highlighters will be worth it for my sake!

I'm starting college this fall but gotten into binging stationery hauls and jetpens videos, and studytube vids again... thanks so much for this tutorial cuz I've never been able to keep up with a note-taking style (or even kept up with taking notes at all--- I'd always give up at some point :c ) I'm incredibly lazy so I need something extremely simple yet effective while also looking neat and aesthetic so I'll definitely be trying this :)

Thank you so much! This is so useful and FINALLY a video where they actually give HELPFUL information. The problem is my teacher turns into eminem every time I try to take neat and aesthetic notes. But what I do is when I'm in class I just use a really cheap notebook and take really sloppy notes and sometimes create a messy mind map. Then I go home and make them neat and READABLE.
