    I love that he did it all the way it was made. No making it "contemporary," or some type junk. If it was 70s, it sounds 70s, if it was 80s, it sounds 80s. It's beautiful. I just love that so much. And thanks for posting!

      ABSOLUTELY!!! I couldn't agree with you more! I am so lucky to have grown up with the music that I did, I feel sorry for the generations that came after having to listen to junk that is digitized & autotuned - it's basically taking the human/soul element out of the song. I recently heard a newer song from the Rolling Stones and they used 'correction' on Mick Jagger's voice. It is not too far fetched to think that one day humans making music will be a thing of the past, it will all be AI computer generated music, soulless. The sad thing is that we are beginning to see AI generated music and art. TY for your comment ❣💯😊

    • @TheTumblingDice
      @TheTumblingDice  Год назад +2

      @@michellep1965 I can't figure that out unless it has something to do with the particular venue or the amount of people it holds but some people were able to purchase their tickets from the Venue itself but it was limited, the most expensive seats direct from the venue were $99.50 and I waited a few days then when I went back to purchase the tickets it said they were sold out and we were directed to Ticketmaster so for two tickets we paid $$472.70 and that is a big difference in price - these tickets weren't even the most expensive, there was one level above those in pit seating ... I thought maybe they were resale but I didn't find that to be the case, so I wasn't expecting to pay that much but because I've always wanted to see Boz play live, I just had to take that plunge. I don't regret it, it was a great night. I also wondered if maybe the limited ticket sales through the venue were a special presale price for members, which I am not sure about either but that is what I am wondering ... yeah, I can't figure that out. Also, a co-worker of mine told me she went to a show at the same place and she purchased her tickets direct from the venue but the day of the show the people who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster showed up only to find that they didn't have seating b/c they oversold the show so those people were refunded and the tickets that were purchased direct from the venue were honored over the ones from Ticketmaster ... that created problems b/c they had to have tighter security because the Ticketmaster people were quite upset when they arrived only to find their seats were originally already sold to someone else and they weren't going to see the show they thought they were tha night so I was a little stressed this night hoping that wasn't going to happen at this show ... oh that would have been terrible.

      @@BRUTUSPLAC It was one of the best concerts I ever attended, It was too amazing for words, the place was packed to the gills and everyone was cheering like crazy. He and the whole band got better and better with every song, through a nearly 2 hour show. I hope he comes back, I will no doubt attend. He pulled from his old timeless well known songs, and mixed them with compilations from other times equally. He did three curtain calls. What a glorious night!

      I know... I was hoping he would have his backup singers - I like to watch the show he did for his DVD. They add a whole other dimension to the show but I'm not complaining b/c just being in the same room with Boz, these amazing musicians and hearing the music performed live was just wonderful! This was the first time I've ever attended a Boz show and I wish I had better audio because this video just does not do them justice. 😊💜

    Please, will one of you fine folks tell me why these people come to a concert and chat all night. I sat that close last week and it cost my wife and i a bunch.
    If you do that and read this please be more considerate and STOP.

    • @TheTumblingDice
      @TheTumblingDice  Год назад +3

      I am assuming you are talking about the voices you hear the video but that wasn't chatting, there were a few very frustrating disturbances going on that you can't see on the camera so the big issue was people coming in late when all the lights were down trying to find their seats when they couldn't even read the row numbers much less the seat numbers so this was just something unfortunately that happens in public places. Also the proximity and range of the microphones so the voices are much louder on this video than what someone would hear if sitting in the audience. Additionally at this particular venue the security is constantly moving around, surveying and making their own verbal noise - nothing is like it used to be so at any public gathering nowadays security is tight and present. The only reason they don't show up on the video is because I had raise, angle and use the zoom whenever they walked in front of me, it obstructs my view. I am quite annoyed that this happens at every show because yeah, the tickets are expensive. People standing up in their seats during a concert is much more of an annoyance b/c you can't ignore or tune out an obstructed view... it is rarely pleasant to be among so many people unfortunately.
