You can't just burn stone either, and siege weapons like catapults can only go so high. Teleport in? Not likely with the powerful mages they have on their side, and their own shamans would prevent any manipulation of the earth to tear down the spires. The only real downside is that due to its location, getting materials to build anything more than the meager buildings they have is a huge pain, not impossible but at some point it's just not worth it, but it's fine for them because of their nomadic lifestyle so they dont need to bother with all that.
@@nightknight669 I know, but if I were N'zoth I'd kill Azshara for her failure to kill them. But I think Blizzard wants to save her the the next expansion because I think rushing N'zoth would be a bad idea when the Black Empire would be a great idea for the next expansion.
And that's it for content for like another 6-12 months (unless Final Fantasy Online comes out with another patch within the next couple of months), hope you all enjoyed it this past week or so.
There's a lot of references to other games in these scenes. The elder scrolls shout and theme music, the protoss pylon, and of course Queen Azshara resembles a brood queen from SC2 (the hero being named Queen Zagara)
probably just a boss on the first floor as the undead naga queen. she's not important enough to the entire lore be a next to last boss to the most dangerous boss in the entire game. that kind of honor would belong to another old god or one of the leaders turned evil... you know like Sylvanas herself.
How BoA 8.2 should have ended....Azshara drops the water wall and drowns everyone. Water-breathing naga collect Heart of Azeroth from heroe's corpse. Free N'Zoth. Luring the heroes into bringing the Heart to you is so convoluted.
The weird sound just before Azshara was revived really sounds like a stabbing sound. Wonder if Nzoth stab her with Zalathas and trap her within that blade so then he can toy with her, just as she was taunting him about being locked up so helplessly.
not surprised usually the dealmakers end up being fodder for something bigger.....most likely Aszhara will be a raid boss in the final part of the expanse
The life never faded from her, after the fight she went unconscious and then N’Zoth gave her strength back before they disappeared in that portal. They most likely went to the Shadowlands or N’yalotha
The strongest sorcerer that has been missing for tens of thousand years and been hyped for years beaten just like that and they wondered why people left retail, BFA has been an utter garbage of an expansion.
The Burning Legion, Kil'Jaden, Aggramar, Argus and Sargeras had been killed in one expansion. We literally YOLO'ed in Argus and pwned everything on spot. Nothing could redeem retail WoW at this point.
@@Impersonal66 Except the only ones who have died are Kil'jaeden and Argus (probably), you cannot kill the burning legion since the demons will always be there and now without their master, they may go rampaging across the nether, Aggramar was freed and Sargeras is probably still full of strength battling Illidan for all eternity (my bet is on him actually helping us battle the void lords, side by side with the burning legion, that would be a twist .. as Drak'thul says 'Demons are not your enemy, fool.'). And beaten just like that, I don't know, the fight is gonna be a mess and she got revived, so we will battle her again most definitely. We will see where 8.3 will take us.
The Azshara leading to Nzoth "plot" was called before BFA even released. Look, I know Blizzard was never known for their storytelling, but this was beyond predictable.
The entire raid fight takes place on the seal, or the lock, of N'Zoths prison. She wanted the adventurers to come as she could not break the seal on her own, her power being bread mostly from his. So during the fight you are meant to power these 3 sigils, while the enemies power one. My theory is the one their powering actually reinforces the hold on the old god, and we were tricked into breaking the ones that actually unlocks it.
@@fabiorachid3430 nono, he got her to save her because she freed him like their deal. He may be killing her tho because she took far too long to free him if it was that quick. Not to mention if you've seen the Warbringers cinematic she tried to manipulate the shit outta him.
He had to tolerate her snobby attitude because he needed her, and now he is free to have a very serious talk with her. Doesn't need to kill her, but twist her beyond recognition, I could see it happen. Anyway, she is now in a hidden vault with Illidan and Sargeras, they will come back when plot demands it and a hook for players is needed.
12:29 Have to ask, where did you get the music at the very end of the video? Haven’t heard that in the game. Beautiful! Is there a vid or link to it? Thank you for sharing the cinematics!
nahh she is leagues above him XD and she actually gets the better of her so called "master" in the end by letting us kill him ^_^ besides that while Archimonde saw Gul'dan as a small little pawn he'd think twice about antagonizing Azshara who was as powerful as him and KJ even before she was empowered by N'Zoth. even pitlords like Mannoroth shitted their pants for her which should tell you enough about how damn powerful she truly is. besides, she would never serve as a pawn willingly so if she does she clearly is plotting something on the background like she did with N'Zoth (she was planning to take him out herself be4 we came to loot her every week 4 epixxx)
I hope it's not going to end with another "you have outlived your usefulness"... I mean, lady managed to get you free, something other than an eternity of pain or an horrible death would be a good reward. Who know, you can even get an unquestionnably loyal pawn out of the deal who may come and save your bum later. Because, let's face it, heroes won't stop there.
Hmmm I was hoping for a twist to the story, but am disappointed Azshara fell so easily. I was expecting her to reawaken with an evil grin on her face like she knew this would happen already, but no she looks like a frightened little girl. This is so out of character for her. I thought she was more cunning than that.
well she is cunning but she's not all powerful like in warbringers you can see her vulnerable side where she's helpless too sure she's powerful but op op champions ya know *shrugs*
Not sure if it's a stab sound or a dramatic effect. Maybe N'zoth showed Azshara a vision of the truth and she gasped in shock. Since he also says "All eyes shall be opened." in the end.
Honestly, I don't know why N'Zoth decided to torture Azshara. It's not like she failed in setting him free, she kept her part of the bargain after all.
Ik this is a year too late, but: Azshara and Nzoth never really liked each other. During their mutual deal over all these yrs they tried to gain power over the other. Azshara had plans to betray nzoth and he probably knew it so when she was weakened and he was free he decided to take her to nyalotha so she can mean no harm to him.
I don't know what's more sickening: Azshara's pride, vanity, and massive god complex or the fact that the Horde and Alliance refuse to find some kind of common ground on which to stand, when there's a bigger picture literally trying to drown them.
They really need to make a wc4. The fact so many minor named units became fan favs.....Shandris...Sylvannas(in reign of chaos) etc... Thats where any hope for the future is.
Am I right in saying that this is one of the worst situations Azeroth has ever been in? Old Gods in the past have at the very least been imprisoned to some degree. N'Zoth is now 100% fully free.
Essentially, all of the Old Gods were sealed to some degree - C'thun, in Silthius; Yogg'Saron in Ulduar; Y'ssrall in Pandaria; and N'Zoth in the Well of Eternity. Now, Azeroth has never seen a true Old God free and N'zoth was retconned in being the strongest of them.

Just watched all of your 8.0 vids to catch up of the BFA story so far. Best WoW related thing I've done since quitting BFA at the start. Thank you saving me and many others money by not having to sub. You make WoW lore palatable and I now know I'm not missing out on this scatterbrain of a mess. For this video specifically, it's like Blizzard doesn't know what to do with Jaina. They make her crazy vengeful and wants to SMITE the Horde. Now we are getting the peace and love working together Jaina. Azshara will only be setback and look even more corrupted and crazy when she's back. It's like I can see the future plot points in my mind already. Sylvanas will be redeemed SOMEHOW (probably some BS about only she can stop/weaken N'Zoth). Horde and Alliance work to defeat N'Zoth together. The peace is uneasy, but drama will suddenly happen. Then it starts at war all over again next expansion. Get a new story Blizzard you've been telling the same basic one over and over for like 20 years. SMFH Vol'Jin died for this crap.

C’thun was only recently awakened, and was fighting in his own prison. Ditto for Yogg, and trying to fight him without the Keepers powering you up was one of the hardest fights in all WotLK (incidentally, Yogg also is not dead). An old god at full power might make for an even bigger threat than Deathwing - certainly more of a serious threat than Sylvanas, anyways. Some of the old gods did some nasty stuff with their corruptive influence. It’s hinted in his fight that Yogg might have been behind Arthas - while imprisoned. That might even end up ranking a single Old God as a bigger threat than the entire Legion.
'An old god at full power might make for an even bigger threat than Deathwing' Might? It definitely does make for a bigger threat unless Blizz screws up again
lets be honest we all wanna see this old god do some good storylining, or just be able to escape us or be undefeatable nobody wants to have a big boss every xpac, kill them and move onto the next, thats why legion was good. or just see him free some other old gods and like 3v20 our asses... but dont make them watered down like some pop or something i want this a fight harder than the four horsemen in ORIGINAL NAXX i wanna see N'Zoth kill us all (as a raid/in story) and go doing some other stuff for another xpac or two. might be boring for this xpac but i want a 'god' to act like one and not get killed by 20 people on the first attempt without any pots or buffs

The only reason N'zoth would save Azshara is because she still useful to him
or maybe he wants to personally punish her for taking so damn long to free him.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It is ridiculous how cliche that sounds
Nom nom nom
@@nightknight669 I know, but if I were N'zoth I'd kill Azshara for her failure to kill them. But I think Blizzard wants to save her the the next expansion because I think rushing N'zoth would be a bad idea when the Black Empire would be a great idea for the next expansion.
And that's it for content for like another 6-12 months (unless Final Fantasy Online comes out with another patch within the next couple of months), hope you all enjoyed it this past week or so.
Nzoth is talking about opening our eyes to the truth. "The Light has made a bargain with the enemy of all."
I'm glad that the argument between Nightborne and Night elves is over now. :D
N'Zoth: "Oh!! Now you fucked up!"
Azshara: *Gets pulled into the void as N'Zoth rises*
Players: "Well shit!"
What happens when you slip it in the wrong hole
12:12
One could think they use fish oil first, but N'zoth seems to like it raw...
The moment she made this face like on thumbnail gives me strange feeling that nzoths tentacle actually hit point G
the skyrim bit made me double check the video i was watching. that was good and good timing.
There's a lot of references to other games in these scenes. The elder scrolls shout and theme music, the protoss pylon, and of course Queen Azshara resembles a brood queen from SC2 (the hero being named Queen Zagara)
Since N'Zoth seems to be freed now, it is time for some Tyrande and Elune action! Time to shine, Kaldorei!
I wonder where Elune was when Black Empire reigned acrosss the whole planet...
@@t.va.6611 Old God Elune? Turned Trolls into Night Elves, Night Elves hear whispers that no one else can, etc?
She's basically a Benevolent Old God.
Dat voice-acting of Azshara
Azshara about to become the second end boss of the next raid just before N'zoth.
probably just a boss on the first floor as the undead naga queen. she's not important enough to the entire lore be a next to last boss to the most dangerous boss in the entire game. that kind of honor would belong to another old god or one of the leaders turned evil... you know like Sylvanas herself.
Literally spat my coffee at the skyrim bit xD
Whoever voiced Azshara is a beautiful Naga.
"All eyes will open," sounds like C'Thun is gonna come back somehow.
1:34 I love the fact that she's holding a little champagne glass makes her look all the more EVIL.
"Lets let her -eat an apple- hold a champagne flute to make her look even more of an asshole!" Ding!
Lorthamars voice seems to change or is at least off at times... Does anyone else notice it or am I going crazy?
All I hear is The Crusader from Diablo 3. Does that mean we're both going crazy?
Its definitely goes a pitch higher lol
ngl, azshara is one hot mama
How BoA 8.2 should have ended....Azshara drops the water wall and drowns everyone. Water-breathing naga collect Heart of Azeroth from heroe's corpse. Free N'Zoth.
Luring the heroes into bringing the Heart to you is so convoluted.
What about the druids and their sea cow forms? Cause they'd GGEZ that.
I honestly feel bad for Azshara in her last moment seeing the life fade from here eyes. Amazing voice actor
The life never faded from her, after the fight she went unconscious and then N’Zoth gave her strength back before they disappeared in that portal. They most likely went to the Shadowlands or N’yalotha
I have a feeling that he helped Azhara after finishing freeing him. Those shackles really do tell a story.
She didnt die lol
Well, would you look at that. A siginificant villain actually pulled off a significant win.
Shandris reminds me SO MUCH of the character Catelyn Stark from GoT.
I think when we do get a full on old God expansion, it'll be with all of them active at once. Before azeroth becomes a void Titan and wow ends.
1:00 when it gets put in the wrong hole.
LadyPain_TheLegend omg
The strongest sorcerer that has been missing for tens of thousand years and been hyped for years beaten just like that and they wondered why people left retail, BFA has been an utter garbage of an expansion.
Croix Almasy
Even more so than WOD?
@@OGRitchie you can kill all the demons as long as you kill them in the nether, but can also be achieved in outland
@@zantesh I believe demons are constantly born in the nether though, are they not? I mean, you would need a loooot of firepower.
I love the Bioshock like entrance to The Eternal Palace
Was not expecting a Skyrim reference...loved it.
Anyone want to agree with me that the thumbnail makes it look like N'zoth's tentacles are going somewhere they shouldn't.
I mean, there is an edited image of the thumbnail out there that pretty much implies what you mean :P
The Azshara leading to Nzoth "plot" was called before BFA even released. Look, I know Blizzard was never known for their storytelling, but this was beyond predictable.
Warcraft went from conflict against different factions. To World Uniting against intergalactic godly world ending things constantly.
I don't get it, why did she want the adventurers in Nazjatar? And why all of a sudden N'Zoth broke his chains? Why didn't he do it before?
The entire raid fight takes place on the seal, or the lock, of N'Zoths prison. She wanted the adventurers to come as she could not break the seal on her own, her power being bread mostly from his. So during the fight you are meant to power these 3 sigils, while the enemies power one. My theory is the one their powering actually reinforces the hold on the old god, and we were tricked into breaking the ones that actually unlocks it.
@@NoJenk I see, that makes sense. So N'Zoth got Azshara because she tried to keep him imprisoned. Will he enslave her now for real?
@@fabiorachid3430 nono, he got her to save her because she freed him like their deal. He may be killing her tho because she took far too long to free him if it was that quick. Not to mention if you've seen the Warbringers cinematic she tried to manipulate the shit outta him.
That was my question too. It seems that the HEart of Azeroth was the key to open the prison and Azshara lured us in.

@@dritzzjoney Quite sure it's from the mini zone is Nazjatar where the drowned oracles are, when they are singing
I don't understand, how can this player have so beautiful graphics, I nearly put max on every settings
I would love to see a conversation between Bwosamdi and Azshara.
Aszhara is the new Gul'dan?
nahh she is leagues above him XD and she actually gets the better of her so called "master" in the end by letting us kill him ^_^ besides that while Archimonde saw Gul'dan as a small little pawn he'd think twice about antagonizing Azshara who was as powerful as him and KJ even before she was empowered by N'Zoth. even pitlords like Mannoroth shitted their pants for her which should tell you enough about how damn powerful she truly is. besides, she would never serve as a pawn willingly so if she does she clearly is plotting something on the background like she did with N'Zoth (she was planning to take him out herself be4 we came to loot her every week 4 epixxx)
" Fus Ro DAH! " All I hear in that music: " PRAISE THE LORD! FUCKING COOL! OH MY GOD! " (The chanting)
Always so quick to upload!!
World first uploads!
She was always overrated, most powerful mage ever my ass.
He just wants to taste more of her essence
Is...Azshara the first villain in WoW who:
>Had a plan
>Executed plan
?
All eyes shall be opened.
*All your base are belong to us*
Azshara sounds like one of the Zerg Queen's the one that hangs from the celling I forgot her name

Thumbnail: Well what did you think was going to happen when you "invited" the Heroes who defeated Space Satan and his Space legions of hell
Well interdimensional cthulu tentacle monsters from the void of endless abominations would come and change realities?
Not sure if it's a stab sound or a dramatic effect.
Maybe N'zoth showed Azshara a vision of the truth and she gasped in shock. Since he also says "All eyes shall be opened." in the end.
Or truth too... deep.
I always knew Lorthemar would have his day!
Can anyone tell me what is the music they use in Azshara statue scene at 1:20
I don't know what's more sickening: Azshara's pride, vanity, and massive god complex or the fact that the Horde and Alliance refuse to find some kind of common ground on which to stand, when there's a bigger picture literally trying to drown them.
Azshara is enjoying them with wine glass in her hand xD
She pretty much carries it wherever she goes. Must be a good vintage.
FUS RO DA! Lolololol! That actually had me crying. Heheh.

i don't need to pay for playing the game, watching this video is enough
if you a here for the cinematic you just have to watch the first 1:15 Minutes of this video. The rest has nothing to do with the cinematic. cinematic get`s played again in this video at 11:12 .
It sounded like she got stabbed in the end. The exact moment her eyes popped open.
I didn't saw a link to the amazing outro wallpaper in the description '-'. Is it possible to have it?
Hiya there, its a complete version of the warcraft 3 Tyrande art I put together along with the dark silvery eyes. I featured it in my Night Warrior video way back in November. I haven't really put a link to it yet.
I want to keep up with the story but dont want to pay blizzard so this is great, thank you.
nzoth is what people see in the bird box movie
The thumbnail looks like the final moments of a Disney villain before the heroes celebrate
If the skyrim bit was really in the game I'd actually consider coming back to it.
a fully release old god. was yogg/cthun ever fully released?
No
C’thun was only recently awakened, and was fighting in his own prison.
'An old god at full power might make for an even bigger threat than Deathwing'
Might? It definitely does make for a bigger threat unless Blizz screws up again
They're both trapped in hearthstone's wild
None ever, though this one is considered the weakest he will be in full form.
Great... another eye on the ground with tentacles raid.... how exciting....
now we know Blizz and tes are related, not just the fact that tes makes starcraft O.O
its the starting of it that you see at 8:13
0:10 the reflection of that elf guy has an eye of N'zoth,
lets be honest we all wanna see this old god do some good storylining, or just be able to escape us or be undefeatable nobody wants to have a big boss every xpac, kill them and move onto the next, thats why legion was good. or just see him free some other old gods and like 3v20 our asses... but dont make them watered down like some pop or something i want this a fight harder than the four horsemen in ORIGINAL NAXX
i wanna see N'Zoth kill us all (as a raid/in story) and go doing some other stuff for another xpac or two. might be boring for this xpac but i want a 'god' to act like one and not get killed by 20 people on the first attempt without any pots or buffs
Modern WoW cant even give you WotLK dungeon bosses, theres no way in hell youll get vanilla naxx on steroids lol.
"all eyes will be open soon" The Tentails will be awaken
Omg the skyrim part. xD
