The thing is, that story is a lie. The man wasn't selfish and definitely not into drugs. The house belonged to a company that got bankrupt and is now in the possession of the bank. Also, this isn't the only house on the property there are 3 more houses. This isn't abandoned also. There are locks and chains in the entrances, but people still break in. There's also a company that cleans and takes care of the property for the bank. They go there in every 3 months.

My God, Lesley, dear friend, what an incredibly epic explore at this abandoned Portuguese Disney palace. I was completely overwhelmed seeing this location now once again through your eyes. - The Disney palace part is amazing to see, and I can very well understand, that Mr. Nogueira required a permission from the Disney corp. to build it just for his daughter. - I was right from the beginning again completely fascinated only alone by your wonderful narration and the magical drone shots showing as well the breathtakingly beautiful countryside. You have an enormously sensitive touch in your approach to such a location, and I am everytime overwhelmed by your great awareness and your fine sense for the beautiful details as well as the possible background stories. And - please don't worry, your English is after my opinion simply excellent!! - I can only agree to you, that money is not everything, even if a place like this is of course showing off in a very grand scale. - If that man was "earning" his enormous amounts of money by drug deals, the whole thing is for me also very sad and disgusting. - Of course it made me equally mad to see the heavy traces of vandalism and willfull destruction, which is always completely shameful to see. - Lovely explore adventure, dear bro Lesley, which I entirely enjoyed watching. - Take care and stay safe. - Lots of greetings to your adorable brother Jordy as well! Beautiful Leslie as you! What a wonderful narrative and education for people to enjoy! Thanks! As you say, "love you! "... continue to show the world what few have created for many to speculate!
The huge question I have is instead of the people in charge of the property making a point that it shouldn't be there and would rather tear it down to make a point instead of keeping it fixed up is just criminal. Why didn't they just keep it maintained and use it as a visual wonder for people to visit. The love he had for his children by building that castle would of been enjoyed by 1000's more and it could of made revenue for the park. Its sad not to many more people will he able to see this magnificent home but I am thankful that u took the time to take us on yet another wonderful journey as you are so blessed in doing.

the thing is, you're NOT supposed to buy land here. This place is a natural reserve, no properties are meant to be build here. The fact that sr.nogueira knew that and still decided to build it illegally makes me feel to no sympathy towards him at all. With all the money he had, he could have easily build the place elsewhere though. Makes me really question why he thought that he could simply build a massive mansion in the middle of a protected area with no repercussions.
What an incredible place, to demolish it is a crime! The joy the little girls had must have been amazing! The memorys the family have made there over the 15 years of living there must be amazing. What a beautiful place. ❤
Leslie and Danny, I have just started watch your videos and am captivated by them. These are the things I appreciate: Your filming and editing are easy to watch. Danny, your hand is steady and I forget you have to walk long through the camera. Leslie, you have a very soothing voice, and your English is ready to understand, don't apologize. I use a thesaurus to expand my vocabulary, and I'm a native speaker. Your locations are fanominal. Such amazing pieces of art. Your love of history and architecture shows through your words. Thank you for all of your research. 🇺🇸
There is something about marble. That is, many Mediterranean countries use it for lack of wood and forests. I found this living in Tunisia, north Africa, where marble was common and not expensive. Too, with this structure, you have to consider this: a friend and I came up with - good taste. no taste. Royal taste, bad taste, wrong taste, Hollywood taste and on and on. Looking for a house to buy, my realtor and I walked into a house where an elderly woman, ostensibly, was reading her Bible. The entire house was covered with mice. That is, tiny ceramics to large stuffed mice animals. Obviously it had started out a small collection and the poor woman's friends, thinking they were being nice, had inundated the poor woman with more than any one could grasp. All this to say my realtor turned toward me and said: "There's no accounting for other's taste." Indeed.
When an elderly woman goes to a nunnery and becomes a nun, she’s not going to take anything with her! This video was very enjoyable because you knew something about the family and the music you selected was perfect. Thank you Danny and Leslie.
All it takes is an undetectable crack in the mortar, a loose brick or a slight misstep and the results could be devastating. Be careful and don't take chances. You have family, friends and thousands of faithful fans who care about you.
My gosh I was thinking the same thing. Made my blood pressure go up. Especially in the towers and sitting on the throne at the pool. I could see the throne coming lose, him falling into the pool and the throne falling on top of him. Dangerous filming like the Crocodile Hunter
If i had the money to buy this place, I’d make it beautiful again and use it for fairy tale weddings! It could be magical.. I’d love to be a wedding planner, but this could be next level!!
I truly don’t understand the need to destroy beauty like the vandals do! I can’t even wrap my head around that type of mindset. Thank you for sharing these places.

I just discovered this wonderful channel! I adore being able to wonder through these spectacular places like this! I appreciate how careful and respectful you are. Strength of character is indeed the sign of an old soul. Thank you for these amazing adventures! As a child I of course, longed to live in a castle! Somehow when I watch these videos it feeds into that excitement I felt when I would imagine living in such grandeur. It is also interesting to see how things do falter and decay, and how nature reclaims. I loath having to see the signs of childish destruction and disregard. Bonus you can eventually travel to country where they speak your chosen language & it will open a whole new world to you
Even as a native English speaker, I can't think of words and use a thesaurus. As an English teacher, that was one of my students' favorite assignments was writing a conversation using a thesaurus expressing their displeasure about something.
I speak three languages fluently and another two I can reasonably communicate. That’s my only forte 😉 languages are like music 🎶 🎼 music 🎵
I appreciate how you respect the property & have a gentleman way of filming .
What a pity! Ten months ago boys from Explomo channel was there, everything was whole and intact.
That is so sad.
Yes
What do you mean by that?

Check on RUclips channel Explomo : abandoned portuguese millionaire's MEGA mansion with private Disney castle ( UNBELIEVABLE)
Sorry my English very bad.
I'm sure these videos encourage some people to go there and loot them.
Wow! He was a very good father to have built such a beautiful castle for his daughters. :) That is the most beautiful mansion I have ever seen :) Love the marble. It's actually a castle!
AAARRRHHHH! You scare me when you climb over things to walk on the edges of things!
Saw this place before with others!!! Awesome place!
YES! I about lost it when they both climbed on that walkway above the pool on the 2nd floor. Noooooooooooooo!
I love how your feelings come out through each amazing video. I am so sorry that there are such people that have no respect ,such as yourself, and get pleasure from destruction! Thank you!
Stunning property, and it is sad the government can’t think of anything better to do than tear it down.🖤🇨🇦
They could use it for fundraising and use the guest/ servant quarters for an office. 🇺🇸
What a marvelous adventure in such a sad place and to see all the destruction and Vandalism is heart breaking. You have such a gentle and kind spirit and a wonderful appreciation for beautiful things. I am Mesmerized when watching these videos. Ann from Va USA 🇺🇸
I'm Portuguese and I had never heard of this palace... Which is quite astonishing.
Same, where is it?
At 27:00, you say he spent money on all this, like that's a bad thing, but the companies that sold him the supplies and the workers who built it made good money. He employed people, which is a good thing if you ask me.
Does anyone else here watch the videos with headphones? :D
Me! ...... Absolutely MARVELOUS ASMR voice!............. In this empty marble palace your voice sounds wonderful. I would hire you just to read me poetry all day haha ...
@ Teacup and Roses, up til now I haven't used headphones when listening to Lesley's vids.... but now, thanks to you, I'm gonna give it a try!
@@chrisgosey1821 his voice is so nice and gentle...
Beautiful Leslie as you! What a wonderful narrative and education for people to enjoy! Thanks! As you say, "love you! "... continue to show the world what few have created for many to speculate!
I love your voice, it sounds so romantic! ‼️💕
Thank you for your professionalism, the great cinematography, and for keeping the language clean. Great job!!
This must have been a magical place to grow up in 😍😭
The huge question I have is instead of the people in charge of the property making a point that it shouldn't be there and would rather tear it down to make a point instead of keeping it fixed up is just criminal.
Oh!!! I'm excited 😁 I want to see if I filmed well 😂 I'll try to be here for the premier
I am sad you didn't say hello to me today. Love your explores. Blessings from California
@@rojiblancoverde I'm sorry!! I didn't see it. Hey!! Thank you 🙏😊
@@ES.Forgotten love you guys.
@@ES.Forgotten don't be sorry.
You filmed it well ☺
BTW: your voice is so nice and authentic. My friends and I love and appreciate you!!
I can hear you talk for hours and never get tired of your voice
It is so beautiful watching how you view things though your eyes. It is such a delight to feel as though you are actually there!
Wonderful video and most amazing find. Keep up the great work while continuing to keep these pieces of history alive.
are there any photos of this place before it was abandon? I would love to see it when people lived and worked there.
I love the never ending treasures you find at this location. A new and beautiful surprise around every corner. The vandalism is as heartbreaking as the story behind this fascinating palace! Thanks for sharing.
Amazing pool! Love the carvings love that it’s marble. Would be so cool to fall in the pool from that chair
The dolphin fountain was probably GORGROUS. The bungalows were not that bad either.
This is the first video I've seen of yours. I loved it! I think you have a wonderful soothing voice! I love how you appreciate the beauty of this place too. I am now subscribed!
What a wonderful soothing voice this man has! 🤩🤩🤩
That’s sad they will tear it down. The castle is great!! Should sell it for salvage materials, then demolish it!! Thanks guys as always✨
Wish he would have bought land, built this for his daughters legally...
This is so amazing.
Hopefully they salvage as much as they can💝
If he really did get his money from the business of illegal narcotics, then, theoretically, it could not have been bought "legally.'' It's karma.
@@ThePianoMan1953 it wasn't from the narcotics he own a computer company
the thing is, you're NOT supposed to buy land here.
God be with you all. Be safe bro’s of decay. You really do have a great channel but that’s because of a couple of great people.
Leslie and Danny, I have just started watch your videos and am captivated by them. These are the things I appreciate:
Your filming and editing are easy to watch.
That is, many Mediterranean countries use it for lack
of wood and forests.
I had a customer come in to purchase furniture to take back to Africa. They were having a house built in travertine...the whole house
When an elderly woman goes to a nunnery and becomes a nun, she’s not going to take anything with her!
This video was very enjoyable because you knew something about the family and the music you selected was perfect. Thank you Danny and Leslie.
Seen the castle before but not the rest of the grounds and house. Great video!!!
So beautiful - truly. I watched this right before going to bed. I hope a have a wonderful dream exploring the gardens when they were new :)
All it takes is an undetectable crack in the mortar, a loose brick or a slight misstep and the results could be devastating.
Be careful and don't take chances. You have family, friends and thousands of faithful fans who care about you.
Heyy I try always to be careful but sometimes you need to take a little bit of risk in my opinion

Hi from Texas! Love your shows, I love historical houses..😍
I truly don’t understand the need to destroy beauty like the vandals do! I can’t even wrap my head around that type of mindset. Thank you for sharing these places.
I hope they take out the fireplaces, cabinets, statues etc. They’re so many beautiful things that could be saved. Es un castillo maravilloso ❤️
Love the way you show all that matters and the way you explain everything. The camera man is wonderful just knowing how to get the right looks. Thank you.i sure enjoy watching and listening
“Ok” you guys keep wanting me to see more. What a great finder, but I agree with you way to much money wasted. Be careful and be safe. From Ohio USA.
Some human beings are in only the beginning stages of their own evolution, I'm afraid. But other than that, it is great fun to watch what you have so kindly made available to us!
Amazing place. But even more amazing voice ;-)
This is breathtaking. Thank you, Bros of Decay, for taking us on so many magical adventures!!!
What a fool 2 build that illegally.
OOOOOH MYYYYYYY! what a wonderful dream he had. Not having building permits is an arrogant move. Vandals are so destructive, have no appreciation for beauty or value. Really liked this one!
