- Sharing where I went when I disappeared... A rural, enchanted getaway to a cottage fit for a fairy! So rural and beautifully remote too. With sheep for neighbours! Stay with us and tour our cosy, rural cottage in Wales, England. I felt so fortunate as it was such a stunning log cabin, cottagecore in style, it was so huge! I'll give you a house tour of the whole place and share what we did there when our little family arrived too. Pumpkin carving, spooky movies, nature, and a bonkers doggie! Lovely holiday. Living on Canada's west coast, I was born in South Wales. Lovely to see the beautiful hills and valleys and sheep again. Loved Jeff running around after his bath...he made me laugh out loud. 🤣🐶🐕🐶

So lovely cottage tour, i'm in love with the nature landscapes and the goats eating grass, this is exactly my dream to buy someday an English countryside cottage and i will work so hard to fulfill my eternal dream. Thank you for taking us with you on your family reunion. The strolls outside (okay, hikes up the hills) were soul food complete with a rainbow and a fairy food marketplace (all those mushrooms!) where I could picture you drawing the fairies trying to decide whether they should try to cook a mushroom curry. The cabin was cosy and Jeffy was wonderfully wiggly. Hugs to you all - I feel like I've had a mini holiday after watching this. I hope seeing family and getting a breath of fresh air has renewed your energy and helped fill your cup (cheers). I thought I might have seen a neighbour wood nymph or pixie peeking from behind one of those trees, or were you referring to your grazing neighbours? In any case, sounds like a wonderful trip with lots of lovely memories. Sending warm and cosy energy in thanks. Do we get to see some fungi pics from your "fun guy"?

Your studio seems to be getting more and more clutter, it’s interesting the more you reorganise the more it gets more stuff. I think you could be needing a new place soon.

Wales is so lovely. I visited years ago and we also saw a rainbow. Those mushrooms were magical! I am glad you had some family time which is always so precious!

Good morning sweet Fairy Girl and James. What a treat to wake up and see your post on this sunny, cool Sunday morning in Northern California. I took Lilly Rose for a walk and made my coffee then thought I opened cream for my coffee but put egg whites instead so had to start again only to knock my coffee container and spill coffee grounds all over. Cleaned that up and finally had a fresh cuppa to watch my favorite channel and friends.
So happy you all were able to get a way for a few days with your family. What a lovely cottage and area.
That one gnarly tree was very cool . Did you see the part where it looked like a cane was carved into the truck? Made me think this old tree was a wise old man watching over those beautiful mushrooms and the fairies that come and okay when no one is about.
It was a beautiful time spent with you all and made the rough start to my day more peaceful.

That’s the trouble with all living in different directions. When you do get together it’s so sad when it comes to an end . We live in the Cotswolds now after 15 years in Portugal and Wendy your Welsh trip made me want to visit Wales . I remember being sent there to stay with my Gran after the war and I felt completely trapped by the hills but being full size now I think I would love it.

I love Wales! I follow another channel "Let's Go with the Johnsons". They mostly do mudlarking videos, but they also do some traveling to France. They speak about the history of the areas they visit and I love learning about the history that we Americans never hear about.

What a beautiful place that was - breathtaking!!! I've always wanted to live somewhere like that and walk around a rolling hillside. When I walk where I live I have to keep my eyes out for bears and coyotes lol. Jeffy's zoomies after his bath was hilarious!

We had a couple of wonderful holidays in Wales when the children were wee. Wales has its own special peace.
Fungi are sooo fascinating 🍄 I’m not always good ar finding them, but one year at camp the conditions were just right and I got to see quite the variety. Thanks for taking us along and sharing your getaway with us. 😊

A Faerie Queene simply must have private quality time with her own Familam and Cardboard King every so often. It's a key component in properly recharging her core. Beautiful Wendy, that was splendid! Hope you are ok now, I saw your sadness when going home. As a mom I know exactly how you felt leaving your daughter. My daughter is in another state and when we vist the hardest part is leaving her behind. But the we eventually see them again. We talk with then on the phone, laught and share. Then we vist again. Not easy but doable.
