Please, show how to disable write protection in this chromebook. I have unscrewed it but i can not find screw need to be unscrewed to install other different from chrome os
this is just using crouton or whatever which makes boots linux within android right? when what i want is to rip out chrome and make it linux only but supposedly i can't do that without removing a screw UNDER THE MOTHER BOARD.
i have the same chromebook and i can not get this thing to go into developer mode no matter what i try and every time i try to install the os for the chrombook type i keep getting the error message, ive tried diffrent usb drives thinking that night be the problem but it still does not work. i took it apart and do not see the ssd not even sure where it plugs in. any ideas??
impossible. This notebook has ARM processor , windows will work only on x86-x64 architecture not on arm base model ;) So... if you buy it , because its cheap wondering, that you have Your favorite Windows Vista running , well, it will not work xD
I like Windows better for flashing, rooting or anything of that nature. More selection with r pre-made apps for Android devolopment(hacking) Except adb fastboot, about the same.

Look up this ifixit guide: "Samsung Chromebook Xe303c12-a01 Series 3 Teardown". It's very easy to do.
