- Today I'm going to be talking about everything Deep Conditioning. Its like a Deep Conditioning 101. What is Deep Conditioning? Why you need to do deep conditioning? How to do a DC and how often. Lastly, I'm also going to share with you some of my favorite DIY and store bought DC's.

Thank you so much for the most helpful videos...are these curly hair products except deep conditioner on a regular basis harmful to hair on a long run?I don't know whether I'm going silly asking you about some products purely home made for curly routine?is it like only drug stores can help maintain curls except for the deep conditioner iam going to make at home as you have mentioned..pls understand the frustrations and fear of a beginner who is about to start watching your video..To be honest here alone I find my hope..before days I have watched many videos about CG and its all fast and not fully understandable...Thanks a lot and keep doing more on CG..
Of course u can try DIY ingredients, I've tried DIY deep conditioners and gels. But if I've got good DIY recipes of shampoos and conditioners u can try them too. Lemme know how they work for u.

Yes banana mask is great. I also like the methi pack. You can alternate between the two
When you use methi seeds DC, do you use it only on the hair strands or also on the scalp? Would you recommend using this as pre poo or after shampooing?
So when I use diy dc I'm not very particular to keep it off my scalp. But generally I'm applying it on the hair. I use all my DC's after shampoo.

Most wash days I don’t use a conditioner after my deep conditioner these days. While ur starting out it’s maybe a good idea to use both

Hi dr... Can we use this store brought dc for kids... Actually my daughters hair is really dry and frizzy.. Am using cantu hair products for her, but after doing the wash her hair is really like dry.. Thank you
I think it should be fine for kids over 6 years. Just keep them away from the scalp.

I am following CG method for past 1 month.. I can see the diffrenece on my curls as well the growth..
My concern is the hair fall.. I applies coconut hair oil with added ingredients (homemade) every once a week for a hour, mama earth argan hair mask(20 mins, intructions to wash with sulphate free shampoo), deep moisturizing shampoo, anti-frizz treatment conditioner, dry plopping method, root clipping method, apply hair tonic on scalp, hair fall control serum on dry hair.. Is my methods are right ?
Hey, are u applying any styling products like a leave in and gel? Other than that it looks good to me. It may appear that hairfall has increased after u start cg because u comb ur hair only once and week and see the hair on the comb. Cg should not cause hairfall.
No I don't use any styling products.. Using my fingers to comb hair as I havent find the right comb yet.. And the bad hairfall only after applying the conditioner. The CG methods didn't do any harms but helped me to keep my hair healthy.. Thanks to u.. Hair fall is my only concern now..

That’s normal. Daily 100 hair is normal. Ella doosam wash cheyyumbo u see that daily. But when u wash every 2 days u see the hair of 2 days together on ur washday.

Hii chechy, out of the 3 DIY DCs that you mentioned, which one would you say is the most moisturising one? Or like which one would give the most defined curls?
DIY dcs are more subtle in their results. I personally love the fenugreek dc. The shine it gives is unmatched

Smoothened hair cannot be curled. U need to cut the chemically treated hair
Nice video. So after DC we can directly do styling? Or do we need to use any conditioner?We can wash out the DC with normal water?
Yes just wash off completely with normal water. Conditioning is optional but I still think it's good especially if u have used a protein based DC. Next style with leave in and gel as usual

No healthy scalp will not have dandruff or itching. But if you have very dense hair, chellapo its normal to have some dandruff or scaling.

@@A_K005 just checked the ingredients. Going by that looks like it has moisture and protein so try using it and see how ur hair reacts to it.

Yeah… sure… some questions are … why should I do leave in ? Is it really needed? Any benefits? If I skip… what happens? How much to use? How will I know if the amount is ok? Any types of leave ins? Indian brands? Any DIYs?

Yes you need to wash off DC completely. Conditioning after DC is optional depending on how ur hair feels.

No it's not but it helps better penetration. U can even just wrap a warm towel. Else cover it with a shower cap
