- Well this model was terrible. I didnt enjoy this one. Bad seams bad instructions bad decals it had the lot.

Hi! It's shu-nook. Shu, like shush. It's a Canadian Native word for a late winter 'warm wind,' that comes down on the East side of the Rocky Mountains. The kit maker is pronounced Ih-tal-eri. 😀 I just picked up a Trumpeter kit, and it looks great.
I built the Italeri 1/48 Chinook, and 1/48 Apache. Both kits are ‘challenging’ to say the least. I finished the Chinook, but the Apache is. On the shelf of doom! I won’t be getting another Italeri kit! Cheers Bob 👍🍻
No dont think i will be getting another Italeri kit anytime soon either. They are very frustrating.
Italeri is hit or miss. Some kits are terrible and others are perfect
Yeah this one turned out to be one of the terrible knes. I suppose thats like all models though. Ive had bad airfix ones aswell.
@@hobbiefix38 there are bad tamiya kits too. As long as you become better then the "bad" kits are doable
Yea i agree ive built several the worse being the 1/48 MH-60K
I never found a perfect one.
I think Italeri needs to update their molds tbh in their chinooks if you want to build like the modern ones its missing some details the real ones have like the vents and stuff but the only MH-47 around are either Italeri or revell of germany (uses the same molds) so it dosent give you much of a choice to buy
They definitely need to update their molds. That chinook was horrible. I did think it wasn't very detailed to be honest.

Can you please tell me where did you find the paint?
Amazon. I get all my spray paint off there. If it's undercoat I use car primer spray which if for plastic.

Personally, I wouldn’t touch an Italeri kit with a 27 foot refuelling probe, or as a dare. I don’t like them either……. 🤷🏼♂️
