Trying to build any type of model from planes to boats to space rockets. If you get any tips from this then great but if you have any for me is even better :). Also now going into the repair business. I am running out of room for models and want to branch off into other areas so thought trying to repair would be a good start.

Wow shes a monster
This is not Concorde
Man I would love to work there just looking at a concord and Lancaster all day
Fokker Dr 1 Is it von Richthofen's tho?
Awesome !! A true desert warrior 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

The tornado gr4 is my favourite plane and they now have a gr1 and a gr4 at Duxford if I'm not mistaken I also recomend going to Duxford imperial War museum its great
Looks like a Bearcat to me.
The Sopwith Triplane was in service from Feb 1917 to November 1917 when it was replaced by the Camel.
he almost said "fucker triplane" 😂😂😂😂😂
what did you use to glue the weight in? and what are the paints used on the ordinance
Nice job in the end!
Me: “Hey Eddie what MK Spitfire is that?” Eddie: “It’s a MKII” Me: “Sorry I cant hear you the engine is so loud” Eddie: Holds up fingers “I said its a MKII”! Me: “Ok thanks lil buddy, safe flying!”
Which kit was this?
Is that Duxford? Never been there, but I have seen 4 Concordes, and I knew the droop snoot was steep, but my God that looks so low to the ground
Tem cara de ser de alguma variação G
Just!Otaku!Great🎉
Who are you kidding ? YOU like saying, “Fucker triplane.” on the internet 🛜
Don't get me wrong fellas, the guy attained a great creation with a sorry pile of plastic garbage though.
As usual with revell, the model is a stack of garbage. We modellers have to make a lot of work to make it fit. Everytime I decide to trust revell, almost always happens the same, a very unlikable surprise inside the box is waiting. Ok, this is a very old model and tool was made in the USA, but even those that are new, also most of the times the thing goes wrong. Or, is in there anybody who could say something different?
If you don't know how to say it THEN DON'T AND SHUT UP !!
im getting the new 1:48 version, its not too small and not too big so perfect for shelf display and playing
Maybe use Evergreen rod for the rigging? You can get some really thin rod. I've used all sorts of material (even thin copper for rigging floats on a Sunderland). Nice build!
I've heard the SE5a referred to as the "Spitfire of WW1". I think that's apt, because both planes have excellent flying characteristics. The legendary Sopwith Camel doesn't compare well with the Spit. The Camel was a death trap for unskilled pilots, and the Spit was not that unkind.
I have this exact same model been looking at getting the right colour paints for it the paint list total price is more than what i payed for the model and the model was built in 2012
This was the most complex, unique, yet remarkably reliable engine of WW2. The Brits got almost all of them in their M4A4's and they loved them.
20 k kills bf 109
I saw this same Wasp helicopter in february 1982 at Mar del Plata, in a (real) SAR operation near the coast, saving 2 people's lives in front of "El Torreón del Monje". Mar del Plata has many beaches but many rock shores too, and this two men were driftet by the sea along the rocks, in a really hard and risky place for lifeguards (they weren't eqquiped with jet skis at this time). I also saw the Endurance at Mar del Plata's harbour, every summer until 1982, docking front our submarine base. RN and Argentinian sailors were good friends. Two months later, we were at war 😮
David R Lentz, Columbus, Ohio, USA (Friday, 23 August, 2024) I have been looking for something generally similar to this: building airborne an airplane kit, its propeller turning. I have some ideas, though I lack 1) the skills to implement them, or 2) the resources to meet the expenses to accomplish this. However, I already know that the idea to power any of this via a battery sets one up for the eventuality that the battery’s charge has depleted, leaving one the possibility (likelihood?) of having to damage the model to exchange it for a fresh one. You could look into new technology to recharge a battery; some may be able to effect this over a short distance (maybe round 30 to 50 cm? I’m just guessing). I also am looking for a way to power a motor spinning the propeller, current for the lighting, etc., without a battery. Moreover, I need to avoid an obvious stand sticking out the aircraft’s navel. What I have been contemplating to accomplish both would be a counter-weighted steel stand (to be unobtrusively small, it would need to be very sturdy) that one places out of sight, set behind the replica itself. The additional advantage that this would offer would be passing an electrical conduit along its length, passing from the engine, the lighting, etc., to a power source and/or a circuit control panel. Of course, over two and a half years on from when you first had made your video, you long since have finished your project. How had things proceeded for you?
Just a friendly note. I think you'll find that the name 'gannet' is pronounced with the emphasis on the first syllable thus: GANN-et.
Hey Steve, nice wee video, im about to have go at this kit as a mojo build - not too sure now ref rigging, cheers Liam
That's duksford 😂😊
Very cool and beautiful😊
beautiful plane
This brings back memories, I had this and it's two brethren, the Dr1 Triplane and the Sopwith Camel, when I was a kid. Just as a matter of interest the rope bits are flying wires. Ejector pin depressions are a fact of life on these old kits unfortunately.
White Elephant, the MOD & RAF had given up on it and needed a change of government to cancel it. It had no export orders. It’s operational environment had changed to low level It’s final replacement was flying and in service before the TSR-2 had flown and remained in service till the early 1990’s. The other sad point is that the Bucc was going to be developed as a supersonic aircraft.
false. Its Bleriot 11 based in Old Warden under Shuttleworth collection. It's 1909 plane that still flies
