Me: “Hey Eddie what MK Spitfire is that?” Eddie: “It’s a MKII” Me: “Sorry I cant hear you the engine is so loud” Eddie: Holds up fingers “I said its a MKII”! Me: “Ok thanks lil buddy, safe flying!”
I've got that same model. I'll get around to building it at some point. They were the first concert I went to back in October of '83 at Baltimore Civic Center. Quiet Riot opened for them. Cost only $11! Still have my ticket!
Yeah they are hard. I used to do alot of warhammer stuff so got used to painting small like that. Yeah anything small and pointy is good to get small detail. Or you can get really small brushed but I find them hard to use.
I really like the way the weathering turned out. She's seen some action, and then some! Nice work!
Thanks 😊

Came out really good in the end with the weathering neatly done. Well done. 🤟👍
Thanks. I've not done alot of weathering so was pretty happy with it. 😀
Nice job in the end!
Love the colouring especially of the figures but also your weathering has turned out damned good.
Well done!
Thanks

Wow that's cool. You should definitely give the model a go. It's pretty fun and builds nicely.
Great job. The weathering came out awesome. 👍
Thanks. Yeah I was quite surprised to be honest. I've not done alot of weathering so was pleased with it.
Lovely model
Wonderful
Brilliant! Nice build and paint. Up the irons!
Thanks 😊
Gotta love a spit.
Epic :D
Hi there great job. Did you use oil based enamel?
No acrylic. I spray indoors so I can't use enamel.
EDDIEEEE!!!!!!!!!
😃
How do you paint that accurate? Is there a trick I'm missing?
Just practise I suppose. And taking your time.
@@hobbiefix38 It's trying to get the small details on the pilots that's an issue. I've found a sharpened match stick works well.

@@hobbiefix38 Just completed sitting Eddie. Fairly happy with how he's turned out. Almost finished standing Eddie.
