    I’m torn on this one. On one hand, it makes sense thematically for parks to build second gates to try and distinguish their experiences . But I think this choice just adds complexity/cost for a lot of tourists who are coming from very far away and just want to experience all the best attractions.

      Thankfully it isn't priced like a full park.

    This has always been a bucketlist park for me! I actually had the opportunity to go because I was planning a trip to Spain but I switched it out to visit Cedar Point

    I always thought it was too small to be a separate gate. But Peppa Pig Park in Florida takes it to a whole new level. That is so tiny with so little to do, and the hours are the same as Legoland. At least there were no lines at either park all day.

      That's another one that at least offers a park hopper.

    Another great video. With the rumored purchase of Port Aventura by Comcast perhaps they might expand Ferrari Land to make it a full day park. I've not had the pleasure of visiting Port Aventura but it''s definitely on my bucket list. Do they have land available to expand Ferrari Land?

      I have always stayed onsite, so I don't know how much parking they have to spare that could be converted into more theme park.

    I still don't understand why this is its own small park instead of a land in PortAdventura. It reminds me of when California Adventure first opened across from Disneyland but with even less attractions than that park had. Hopefully they expand it more because it just seems odd with only one stand out coaster and not many other rides.

    I was in Ferrari Land on a busy day and stood in line for Red Force for 3 hours. That made the upcharge extra salty for me, as Shambala had only 20 mins queues that day :/. If it had been included as a land we could have gone on another day, as we were there for 3 days, but once that ticket is punched, you can't reschedule. Quite the bummer.

    I'd say it's to small to be it's own park but perfect being a disconnected part of Portadventura. Red Force and Junior Red Force, an insane thrill coaster and a junior kiddie coaster. The drop towers are good to but maybe an in between ride would do.

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  Год назад

      A big flat ride package would help significantly.

    This park feels a lot like COTALAND right now, both parks are themed to motorsports and have a rather small ride lineup. However the 2nd gate can be easily added to a park hopper pass and COTALAND has a bright future coming if the two thrill coasters are a smash hit.

      Cotaland seems like it will be more filled out when done.

    I agree! A separate part as a companion to the themed park. Insures a longer guest stay. It's a lovely niche' that it fills. The down side + demise of Hard Rock Park was that park could be done in about the same amount of time instead of 8 hrs. It however was a standalone park.

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  Год назад +1

      Hard Rock Park looked far bigger than this.

    • @detroitdiezel7856
      @detroitdiezel7856 Год назад

      @@CanobieCoaster it did. It's a shame that they couldn't stay in business. Some of those attractions at HRP looked phenomenal. I former co-worker of mine told me that his sister was in management there and that Hard Rock didn't own the park, they just licensed the name. They also had to license all of the bands and rock artists for the various attractions, which cost them a TON of money! 💰 🤑 💸 So, admission was pretty costly. Then when the crowds never showed combined with the competition of Carowinds, they just couldn't compete, even after they dropped their ticket prices. It's sad when a park so well themed and full of potential doesn't succeed.

    For me, I would've made it a sub-land located within the Mediterranea section of Port Aventura. If it didn't have Red Force, I don't think a lot of people would pay the extra price to go inside despite the low price.

    • @oriolat2
      @oriolat2 Год назад

      There is no Italian section in PA. The area around the lake is Mediterranea, themed to a fishing Catalan town. You won't find a single reference to Italy there, because Italy is on the other side of the Mediterranean sea.

    Junior Red Force was my 100th rollercoaster. I guess I should have kept a better eye on my count and do it first so Red Force could have been the 100th.

    • @nathanberridge7321
      @nathanberridge7321 Год назад

      As long as the main park isn't too busy, you should be able to ride Red Force and still get around PortAventura just fine. Remember it's open til quite late, so you'll have time to get round all the rides. I did that a few years back and got on everything, arriving about 9am and leaving around 8pm.

    Those darkrides look absolutely wretched. 30 minutes of preshows consiting of adverts for a car I'll never be able to afford? No thank you. I never saw the appeal of a fast car - whether in a Ferrari or a Volkswagen, we all have to respect the max speed limit anyway. Nip in, ride Red Force, nab the kiddie cred, get out.
