I live on Portland I have always wanted to visit Lyme Regis. Due to health reasons I can no longer get out. Thank you for taking me there I really enjoyed it, such a beautiful place. I have a lovely view of The Fleet from my house. I love your channel for helping me to get out and about.
Just spent a lovely long weekend in Lyme Regis with my partner and extended family and had a fabulous time. I can't wait to go back soon and your video brought back some lovely memories! Our next visit can't come soon enough! Such a lovely, warm and friendly place and everywhere was so dog friendly too - which made our mini Schnauzer happy! Love it!
Beautiful astounding, looks like a real pearl on the Earth. I like the way you have created the video and helped us to explore this beautiful amazing place so imbibed with the Nature and it seems just so natural. This place I feel is free from the complexities of the world. The vastness of the sea fills my heart with joy. I love water. Live in the sunshine, swim in the sea and drink the wild water. The sea doesn't like to be restrained..This place is full of opneness, warmth and positive vibes. Loved it. Thanks.🙏🙏
My late partner and l spent many a happy time in Lyme. Thank you for bringing back lovely memories. We never braved the Cob though, too far and scary for our wobbly legs! But l feel as if we had been there now through your beautiful film, and am more than ever convinced that we were right not to walk it ourselves!
Nicely done, I’ve been visiting Lyme since I was 10 and I’m 62 now,! It hasn’t changed that much. It has no rail access ( it used to,) which I think has helped keep crowds down, along with only a few hotels. The high street is nice too with some great pubs and restaurants dotted throughout and on side streets. A number of artists call it home and local work and studios can be found throughout the town along with multiple used book shops. There are beautiful gardens that back away the slopes behind the front with marvelous views to be had of the seafront. It’s truly the pearl of Dorset which I think is the prettiest county in my favorite part of the UK,: the southwest. Great job.
I agree, it was the most loveliest walk you have brought us on! I too, love to walk along the sea walls. Makes me miss the blazing sun of the summer watching the people enjoying the sun, the beautiful blue sky and glistening sea. Loved the white sails of the boats at the end just drifting leisurely away the summer day. Thanks for bringing us back to a day in the summer with this lovely walk and music! Good to hear you are feeling better! Take care of yourself! :)
Watching from Texas…went here every year when I lived in England, this bought back so many memories of friends and family and younger days. Just magical to me to see how it has not changed much and fills me with happiness seeing it thriving and just as beautiful. Doubt I’ll ever see it again, so thank you for this tour Xxx
I have been to lyme regis a few times whilst visiting my grandparents, and it is honestly the most beautiful coastal town I have ever been to in the UK! Loved the video btw !!

I’ve been going to Lyme once or,sometimes, twice a year since 1967. You have captured the essence of Lyme better than most other video’s I’ve seen. I echo your sentiments! There are some lovely walks going down Coombe Street, to Jordan, with the river running beside. Very suitable music too. Thanks

Great to have you back, and with the music 👏👏👏 absolutely love Summer Breeze, my favourite of all your songs, just makes you smile and feel happy. Thank you 😊
Totally have to agree on the soundtrack from another comment... Love the place and have stayed for weeks and visited many times. You picked a good day with the look of a mini sailing "regatta" going on. You didn't do the town itself which is great but needs a "government health warning" only because of the steep main road, and when I say Steep, I mean Steep. Best car park is by the harbour. Explore by car first if new to Lyme as you may find yourself just driving through and that would be a great shame to miss it. There's a great trail guide somewhere through the town. Very quiet prior to Easter as a lot of places still shut since Xmas, be warned on that one. Love it, and the buildings you walked past just stunning and every one of them raises a conversational point. Just go!.....
Ooo, just what I suggested either on here or fb 😁 It's also very lovely at night walking from the harbour back along the front and having some fish n chips. One of my favourite places to go for sure. Thanks

Last time we went there, there were people with two, three and even four dogs per couple , I’m no dog hater but it’s getting ridiculous, especially those on long leads, spoiling an otherwise nice walk along the front.
