Fergus you're an absolute inspiration, thanks so much for putting out all of this incredible content and hope you start feeling better soon! If you're looking for ideas for videos, by the way, can I suggest making one or two on how to go from essentially a beginner (some basic weightlifting experience, some basic running/swimming/biking experience) to a full-fledged hybrid athlete? E.g. whether you should focus on building strength first or endurance first, how you should treat nutrition differently, any entry-level tips or pieces of kit, how you should set targets, etc. Thanks again mate and keep smashing it!
Thanks for watching man! All those points are essentially covered in previous videos - and unfortunately I wouldn’t be comfortable doing a video just on that as it would lack individual nuance (that is v important with this style of training)! However, I’ll for sure keep working topline points like those in as we go 🤌🏼
Ferg, The Wintering series is my favourite. I love the feeling of training heavy and putting in the grunt work in the dark cold months when nobody else is around. I just have to factor in a new born this year ! Keep hammerin' Fergus
Great to see some lifting - honestly I almost find it refreshing when the lifts start trending downwards due to focusing elsewhere BECAUSE it just gives you more room to once again grow and get better. Good. Keep it coming mate.
Totally get it, the fatigue hit me more than the post race blues, but I'm heading straight into planning and training for the next adventure. Good job on the weights though!! Looking forward to checking in with more content!

Can’t understand why this channel hasn’t much more subscribers. Really good stuff in here! Keep up with the great work!

"If you ever feel lost, go max out". Gotcha Fergus! 👌
That’s pretty much the message it seems yes.
What benefit do the wrist straps bring to you squat?
Increased stability/reduced pain when low bar squatting, but only relevant for low bar!
