@@MoniLein-yy2ue I would have loved a series about Hyacinth as the nightmare OCD boss from hell, insisting her sales team wear fragrant corsages with matching handkerchiefs and bow ties! Then she comes home to early retirement Richard, and admonishes him for not placing the royal doulton with the hand-painted periwinkles back in the China cabinet at the exact angle to reflect the afternoon sunlight
@@Peepee_Liker hmmm, I can totally see it but maybe that would have been too triggering for the work force. Most of us have had bosses like that. But your idea made me think how important the supporting characters are in this show. Without Emmett, Elizabeth, the dishy vicar and of course the stalwart Richard, Mrs. Bucket would be hard to take.
What i like is that its honest humour. No swearing, crude or disgusting situations to get a laugh. Very well written and Hyacinth played character perfectly.
I truly hope they never try a do a new version or reboot. This is a classic that was able to reach across the world bringing countless people laughter & joy.
There was a prequel series I caught one time when Hyince and her sisters were all young ladies still living at home and Hyaince was working as a maid for a rich family
This clip was gold! XD Great acting and writing. Hilarious that ruffians wear Metallica tshirts! XD They were played too much back in the 90s and 00s. I use to watch this show when I was in my teens back in the 90s and in the 00s as a young person. Thought "Hyacinth" was very funny!
The little details for some reason make me laugh the loudest...Richard pushing up his sleeves purposefully like he's a bad@$$...lol...and then emerging from the trees, walking out while dusting the dirt off the palms of his hands after taking care of the problem...lol...
The best bit is the next scene when she's sitting beside Richard in the sand trap telling him she was offered a job! I've wondered what would have happened if she'd taken it!
Imagine what a nightmare she would have been in an office, especially as a manager! The storylines alone from her working could have been 3 seasons alone
Richard was cool with his brother in law Onslow, not so good with the tough looking bikie, however Hyacinth soon made short work of the second bikie!🙌☺
You gotta give Hyacinth credit...she was ready to step in there and fight those bikers for messing with her husband. And she won!
She should have applied for that executive job herself. I think the trouble with Hyacinth is that she was a frustrated housewife. 😅

I love this show and I loved Richard's laid-back attitude. He was an amazing actor.
Yes Richard had the patience of a saint, in reality Clive Swift was pretty fiery from what I’ve heard.
@@DrCuriensapprenticeinteresting he was a Scouse lad
“Richard!!! I don’t like the look of this suspicious looking person!!! Please get rid of him!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
-My new Among Us phrase
isn't that Onslow?

@@ddthewolf That was a one off special.
For some reason I'm binge watching clips of this show and I can't stop lol
❤because they're so funny!😂
They don't make them like this anywhere else. Britcoms are just genius and so original.
I've known him to throb away quietly even in repose 😂
My favourite line
😅😅😅
Hyacinth just took me out 😂😂😂
Poor Richard, I feel for him every time!!
The way Richard falls into the bunker hahaha
"Well done that man" 👏👏👏
Legend has it the golf club members made Richard a fellow Freemason so that he could take on the three ruffians.
Haha! Go Hyacinth!
"Richard, I've been offered a job with Frosticles!"

I love how Hyacinth is doing a puss in boots routine to Make Richard seem better 😄
2:46 and that's why it's always bouquet and never bucket!

I know! I bust up laughing each time!
Hyacinth wasn't frightened 😨 of them she whack one with her golf ⛳ bag.😱
You go Hyachinth.
Dont mess with Mrs Bucket or she will knock you out hahaha!

Richard would read the newspaper in peace for once
Imagine what a nightmare she would have been in an office, especially as a manager!

BRILLIANT as ALWAYS!💝
Haha!! The yob was wearing a “Metallica” shirt, a huge 90’s rock band.
This Episode is hilarious 😂😂😂
LOVE this episode.
She was offered the job by Mr milburn at the end of episode but turned it down , as she thought Richard would get to bored at home without her!
Richard was cool with his brother in law Onslow, not so good with the tough looking bikie, however Hyacinth soon made short work of the second bikie!🙌☺
That is exactly how I saw it too!
She IS magnificent... lol lol lol
Richard took good care of Onslow while Hyacinth whacked the biker with her golf bag
2:17 What an unfortunate face...
Hi Missis, going walkies? Boink...
Richard should’ve wrestled the ruffian in the sand pit with the same gusto as William Shatner did with that alien.
Haha as always 🥰🤣
She is magnificent!
Anyone else think the tall guy looks a little like Oz from Auf Weidersehen Pet?
Remember in the 90s where 'ruffians' wore metallica hoodies? Yet every 2nd weekend was a new city getting destroyed by football shirts. Good days.
He sounds like the upstairs neighbor on The Jeffersons!
Is that Frankie Howerd as one of the golfers watching? 😂
Why doesn’t Richard just divorce Hyacinth?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
2:20 Stuart Hooper before he became a rugby player
At 0:25 is a stunt man
Poor old Hyacinth
Hyacinth will take you out
Richard haves soul in. Him, hes dealing with. A 🎸 🤘 🥌. Rock roll. Wants too be.
The funniest bit was actually how Onslow just stands there with his hands on his hips doing absolutely nothing wrong before the start of this clip
Hahahahaha
🤣
😁😁😁
She say “even in propose”
O.o
In repose*
That second lad nowadays would have a list of pronouns
or his poor children would
About as funny as Boris saying he can see the light at the end of his Covid tunnel.
i had a yamaha dt200 one time. What a machine
