As hard as episode 4 is to watch it’s my favorite episode of Hazbin Hotel so far. I have never been an SA victim but I watch a lot of true crime shows with my mom so I see lots of stories from people in abusive relationships and honestly this show did a frighteningly good job portraying the fear of the victim and you really just want him to be able to escape his horrible situation. Seriously poor Angel Dust.
Also it's great how amazing of a job they did with Valentino, most media just portrays abusers as physically repulsive but with him you can understand how Angel got into the situation he's in before he revealed his true colors to him.

Explains that last part of Poison where Angel looks toward him from the balcony but then collapses to the floor defeated after he sees him talking to Vox. Before he connects more with Husk and other people in the hotel he still longs for him because he feels so alone. It's sad but very realistic to isolated abuse victims like this.
