Well, if you die as a child in this universe, you’re form as a demon/angel will be that age, but will continue aging until adulthood, if you die as an elderly person, your form in the afterlife will be aged down to the age of a young adult, but your mind will be the mentality you had before you died. Husk seems like someone who is very wise, which implies he died a little older than the rest of the Sinner’s, but when you are in the afterlife, you don’t age unless you’re a hellborn demon like an Imp, a Hellhound, any of Hell’s natural lifeforms, you’re soul is different and you’re basically just given one shot at life, AND you can get killed by any weapon, not only angelic weapons. If you are a higher level demon, (basically a Sinner or higher), you do not age past adulthood, which is why Stolas has a dad who looks young, but seems pretty sick of life. As well as how Charlie seems to look physically like the same age as her father and her mother despite being naive like a young adult. So yes, you are correct that they are basically the same age. Because if your lifespan is infinite, and you’re already past childhood, then you basically are ageless. Vaggie and Charlie are the same age, so are Husk and Angel, I assume Blitzø and Stolas are, considering they were both children in one scene. But it’s also sad how Stolas won’t age physically, while Blitzø will. Same with Asmodeus and Fizzarolli, and Beelzebub and Vortex. This is also why lower, Hellborn demons are still regarded as lower by most demons. It’s because they don’t have Souls with any value, and also they are easily killable and don’t have anything to barter with. Which is why they have to rise up the ranks themselves, or latch onto someone who’s already higher class.

Assuming that the show is set currently in 2024, that would be their ages before they died+how long they've spent in hell, meaning that angel (we'll say 35 when he died; the year being 1947) is 112 and husk (we'll say lived to be 70; died in 1975) is 119. This may not be accurate to their ages, but they aren't very far apart in age if you include their afterlife years. (Correct me if I'm wrong on any of this)

In episode 4, before Angel fully cracks, Husk yells that he would be nicer if he didn't push his boundaries so much and was actually real- after that ep, you never see Angel flirt with him like he used to, and thus Husk is in fact nicer to him and actually accepts his dirty sense of humor (the "these fucking angels won't stop coming!" joke). We love a developing relationship in this house ❤ ❤

It's interesting how Keith began with a very gravelly and slightly drunken voice for husk. But by episode 4 he changes to a more calm and gruff version of his own voice. Interesting direction
They were probably figuring out what kind of voice worked best for Husk, and eventually decided that a less gravelly version worked better in Husk's conversations (easier on the actor, more understandable for the audience) but already were left with the previous voicework for earlier episodes. Luckily, it also coincides well with the change in group dynamics after Episode 3, where they begin to warm up to each other and let their guards down (also known as "the period we could've gotten a couple more episodes to cover"). Or maybe it was wholly intentional, who's to say?

Tbh, I was skeptical at first because I've seen a lot of pairings, especially when they're both male, where s*xual harassment is blown off for laughs and the other character just takes it. However, it was refreshing seeing Husk clap back at Angel for being a creep and Angel showing character growth. That's why I'm so picky about reading fanfics that are based off a ship, because often they make the relationship in the story toxic and don't get me wrong that can be used for great character development but they often write the story in the order of "toxic relationship to passionate lovers' and skip the WHOLE development process making us miss out on why the characters in the ship are so passionate about their relationship in the first place! It really grinds my gears!

Transformations into huge forms only start getting common with more powerful demons. Alastor can do it, but he's a particularly powerful Overlord, everyone else we've seen with a transformation (such as the Seven Deadly Sins) is even more powerful than him. Angel Dust isn't nearly on that level yet. Theoretically if he spent a while accruing power and trying to be an overlord he might be capable of it, but I don't think that sort of thing interests him even if he weren't pursuing redemption, and having his soul bound to Valentino probably complicates things even further. (Alastor has indicated that his deal actually weakened him on top of limiting his freedom).
It is interesting that they might have shown something there in chapter 4... that moment at the bar where Husk calls him fake, a spider-like sound is heard, his eyes light up and his hair stretches.

I mean… I suspect it’s already begun offscreen. “So pour me another drink, and let’s get to livin’!” Sure sounds to me like they might have spent their ‘last night of afterlife’ together to me. Especially Angel’s dreamy look in that scene.
Angel's just too used to people begging HIM for a one night stand and getting paid handsomely for it. The fact that he offers himself up to Husk constantly for free and he still rejects him is both a blow to his self-image but also sort of a challenge.
It's heartwarming to see Husk empathize with Angel's struggles. Although HuskerDust is a slow burn, I would love to see an entire season dedicated to them becoming a couple.
Anyone else notice how much softer and happier Husk’s voice sounds after he and Angel come to an understanding? It starts off so rough and vaguely slurred, like he’s immediately drowning his sorrows from the moment he’s brought to the hotel. After, it gets gentler and velvety-smooth. He seems genuinely happier and less like he has to put on a front about hating everyone and everything. His misanthropic demeanor really changes. Husk and Angel gave each other hope. 🥹

I like how Angel and Husk learned a thing or two from each other. After Husk looses it, Angel respects Husk’s space and actually lets out what’s bothering him instead of being phony. While Husk learns to find Angel’s dirty humor kind of funny and finds out he’s a skilled fighter too.
I love how after Episode 4, Angel actually respects Husk's boundaries. Like he isn't touching Husk the way he did earlier like cupping his chin or wrapping his wing around himself which in turn leads to Husk being more comfortable and therefore more open to Angel being around. Like the most sexual thing that happens between them post ep 4 is a couple sex jokes (like the one in the finale where Angel just laughs as Husk saying 'these angels won't stop coming') that Husk can laugh at too. It felt so good to see Husk confront Angel about how he didn't like having his boundaries crossed.

I love that these two basically ended up as best friends. Angel went from creeping on Husker to respecting his boundaries, and Husker went from abhorring Angel's "facade" to sympathizing for another enslaved sinner. These two have a bromance that showed a lot of great growth.

Alastor can do it, but he's a particularly powerful Overlord, everyone else we've seen with a transformation (such as the Seven Deadly Sins) is even more powerful than him. Angel Dust isn't nearly on that level yet. Theoretically if he spent a while accruing power and trying to be an overlord he might be capable of it, but I don't think that sort of thing interests him even if he weren't pursuing redemption, and having his soul bound to Valentino probably complicates things even further. (Alastor has indicated that his deal actually weakened him on top of limiting his freedom).

It's heartwarming to see Husk empathize with Angel's struggles. Although HuskerDust is a slow burn, I would love to see an entire season dedicated to them becoming a couple.
Anyone else notice how much softer and happier Husk’s voice sounds after he and Angel come to an understanding? It starts off so rough and vaguely slurred, like he’s immediately drowning his sorrows from the moment he’s brought to the hotel. After, it gets gentler and velvety-smooth. He seems genuinely happier and less like he has to put on a front about hating everyone and everything. His misanthropic demeanor really changes. Husk and Angel gave each other hope. 🥹

I love how after Episode 4, Angel actually respects Husk's boundaries. Like he isn't touching Husk the way he did earlier like cupping his chin or wrapping his wing around himself which in turn leads to Husk being more comfortable and therefore more open to Angel being around. Like the most sexual thing that happens between them post ep 4 is a couple sex jokes (like the one in the finale where Angel just laughs as Husk saying 'these angels won't stop coming') that Husk can laugh at too. It felt so good to see Husk confront Angel about how he didn't like having his boundaries crossed.
