Custom ROMs have helped save the environment more than anything else. 😌
True I have seen people still using Custom ROM's with their aging devices like OnePlus 3T and Redmi Note 4
So true, I am able to use my phones easily for 3+ years with the latest security patch.
True..
Agreed, so does the Linux for PCs
What a comment bro 👏👏
That thing about installing many custom ROMs and many times hurts your storage you said, is 100% a myth. I completely agree with that. I have also tinkered with my redmi note 10 many times, and still my device is working like a charm!
BTW, great video Rohit Bro!
Thank you so much brother !
Another awesome video. This cleared some of my questions when it comes to Custom ROMs and rooting one's phone. Thank you for clearing these things up, Bro!☺️
Excelent work man, your videos are clean and charismatic
You might damage the ufs storage if you write to much to it, but that's an almost non-existent issue, you'd have to spend months writing the storage over and over to start damaging it.
Much less dangerous than damaging your sanity by using miui
😜
In his case, I think Xiaomi have (sort of) refined their manufacturing process over the years, so gone the days of having to replace the old defective eMMC chips on early Mi and Redmi devices.
Of course, it's not purely perfect, for example some Poco models have hardware problems, but it's good for the most part.
Very informative and interesting. Nice video!
Informative. No Questions Asked!

Hey no worries man, thanks for tuning in ! You should definitely get back at it, it's fun !
Using custom rom safely for past 2 years on my k20 pro and I am really very happy. As a student I felt very bad when xiaomi fu**ed my device by giving shitty miui updates. From that situation custom rom saved me.
Same here
Great video. As a newbie, that helped greatly.
Well explained and very useful informations 👏👏
Good video! Thanks!
How do you take back up of your phone? Do you use an extra phone for this? If not, then which PC app do you recommend?
you are really a good RUclipsr. I really like your videos.

Banking apps that require a locked bootloader work on pixel phones with Calyxos or othee custom Roms with re-lockable bootloader with the custom Rom
Hi
Please tell me
I using redmi note 10 pro sweetin
But I did not get his custom ROM so I could use my sweet custom ROM. It will work or note..?
Great video. Im using custom rom from more than 5 years.
Can i use MPL Apps in any custom rom ? Please reply

The very 1st phone that I had bought with my own hard earned money was a Xiaomi Redmi 4A which was more than a decade ago and to this day I had never to worry about a phones warranty or what not because I never had the experience to have bought a defective phone.
Even now while I am typing this on my Poco X3 NFC that I bought when it came out, I dont even know if its still within warranty or not but never had a problem with it.
I installed pixel experience on my poco f1 n after sometime like 2 days my display stoped working is this a problem of the pixel experience or my display n touch is not working can you answer it???
My smartphone Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Currently mi unlock unlock status is missing permissions required. I don't remember if I rejected it or for some other reason, but it's not there right now. Could you help restore permissions required in this situation?
Or give advice on how to restore it. Rebooting to factory settings does not solve this situation.
Do camera quality get downgrade by custom rome or remain same or enhanced
I have heard that there is a temperature lock system that does not work on some Xiaomi phone while installing miui update and cause mobile brick or damage issues. If I install custom from via TWRP recovery, would there be the same issue? And also what custom rom would you choose for your daily driver in redmi note 10 pro right now?
But theres a channel called KTN tech that reviews custom roms..his redmi note 10 pro's front cam stopped working while he was in a custom rom ..he had to do cpu reballing to get it working..so miui isn't the culprit right?...maybe miui firmware or its a hardware issue...who knows..im counting my days with a note 10 pro
I've been dealing with custom roms since 2013. Started this custom rom craze with my Galaxy Tab 3, Galaxy S3, S6 and many more devices. Most of my fleet are Samsung phones. Got a Redmi 9T in 2021 (My first Xiaomi phone) and it's going great so far. Running Stock MiUi, too afraid to do anything with this device. Don't want to hard brick it lol
I'm kinda curious tho, are Samsung devices still somewhat usable after unlocking? I haven't really dared myself to do it ever since the Knox E-fuse scare but my Galaxy Tab S2 isn't running any better with newer updates.
Onek tothhobohul video chilo dada 😀
thank you !
Hey there, I've got some questions regarding this stuff as I'm gonna be installing a custom rom for the first time. First of all I'd like to know if we can port stock camera app to a custom rom?, Also my phone is currently on Android version 9 pie so can I install Pixel Experience directly with Android 12. And lastly can I revert back to the stock rom if something goes sideways or i didn't like the experience?
1. It depends on what phone your using , for all the Xiaomi users they can get there stock camera app in any custom rom in the name of #ANX_Camera , and there are other alternatives like #gcam which is much better. But you will have minor issues with your camera applications in custom rom like slow-motion doesn't work and sometimes camera app crashes suddenly....
2. Yes you can go directly but you have to be on latest update of your phone
3. Yes you can get back to your stock rom, just download the stock rom and flash :)
@@dathuyadav948 I'm using LG V30 so probably the chances of porting the stock camera are very slim. Thank you for clarifying the things, I hope I don't mess this up or else I'm gonna end up using iPhone 6 again xD.

Think I'm going to use your channel to custom rom my redmi note 8. I'd like to ask... Are my files such as photos and phone numbers safe? Should I move them somewhere?
Big Fan From Sri Lanka ❤️
ALL MISCONCEPTIONS CLEARED 👌
Thank you for making this clear! I have a question though. Would you recommend trying out a custom rom to someone who does not have any experience with the process? I'm extremely tempted to give pixel animations and looks of android 12 a go! (my current phone is a mi 8 running on android 10). Ofc you won’t be responsible in case sth goes wrong so I’d like to hear your completely honest opinion
Everyone has to start somewhere :) Follow tutorials (either mine or other's) and double check whether you're using the right file for your phone, and nothing will happen that's gonna destroy your phone. All the best !
@@rohitagni thank you! I really appreciate it!

Is there any way to install ANX Camera on Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 while using Custom ROM?
Does custom rom do anything to your battery ?
I'm using pixel experience 12 plus rom in my redmi note 5 pro

Can someone please answer these Q's....
1-Im a big fan of wallpaper, do custom roms have automatic changing wallpaper ( xiaomi calls it wallpaper carousel) like Huawei?
2- after i installed arrowos will it be easy to change it to pixel or any other os?
I don't know about the first question being a stock feature on the ROM, but you could probably use some app to do that for you, and for the second, yes, it will be easy, it's the same process
@@susten8684 thanks
i dont know if I'm the only one having this problem even with a safety net PASS banking apps don't work with me ?? if any one can help me please reply
Question. I have the xiaomi mix fold 3 in the u.s. I'm going to get it rooted in a few days after I get the bootloader unlocked. I currently have the s23 ultra. After I root it can I have it behave just like my s23 ultra as far as apps working the the s23 experience?
It's better not to think like that. Your S23 will be far superior.
@@rohitagni I bought the xiaomi for the fold factor/ camera / screen size but the miui is hard for me to get used to which is why I'm rooting it
are custom roms safe for beginners like if im following your tutorials on installing a custom rom and make a slight mistake is there a chance that i may break my phone
Yes ofcourse better watch a tutorial and try ❤️
Yep ur phone doesn't brick unless you flash a wrong file
The only thing that could break a phone is you'll be unable to boot os or use fastboot if u accidentally relock the bootloader with a custom rom or wrong stock rom installed due to frp lock error
Add: Most Unofficial roms Also support banking apps
after flashing different custom ROMs did your RedmiNote10 still hold the 33W fast charging feature?
I want to flash PixelPlus 4.2 on my RedmiNote10
I am currently waiting for the unlocking bootloader period to elapse so that I can flash TWRP 3.5.2 then the ROM .. ..
Yes it did, it's a hardware thing, so it won't matter if you're on a custom ROM or not. By the way, the resistance of the wire also increases with time, so bear that in mind.
@@rohitagni woow 😄 didn't know that about the wire resistance, cool fact to know 👍

I am using nusantara 3.3 on my redmi note 9 .It has a security update of October 2021. Is it safe to use? latest nusantara os are available but nusantara 3.3 is much stable till now so I am using it
No bro try to update your security patch to the latest
No need to lock the bootloader again to avail the warranty again, only stock rom should be installed on your device 🙃
I finally install Lineage OS and replaced One Ui and dude its so fine. So to anyone having a doubt. Don't be afraid. Do it

Hey so I have a doubt. I recently installed Cherish OS on my redmi note 11 pro plus. I absolutely loved the rom. But when I was charging the battery, my phone became so hot that it was getting difficult to hold it. I was really concerned and switched back to MIUI.
Um, weird. Did you try other custom ROMs?
Just change the right kernel

After Installing Custom ROM - Will the Camera works as good as ORIGINAL to what companies have their manufactured ROM
It depends if your phone has offcial gcam port then there is no problem what so ever , my mi a1 does not have official one so i just use one after trying out 3-4 gcam apk the one that works best it still crash with some feature but overall i am ok with that and picture quality is very much near to the stock one i had both phone and compared them and some time the colors are better in gcam ..

Would you be interested in making a video on common mistakes when going back from a custom ROM to stock ROM? I'm most interested in Motorola devices, with A/B system. What would be the safest way to go back to stock, so that users don't risk bricking their devices?
How to fix (if there's a way to fix) errors such as: "No valid operating system could be found. Device will not boot." when relocking the bootloader (even on stock ROM)? Boots fine while bootloader unlocked. Once you lock the bootloader, you get the error above.
Or why does RSA show this error: "Fastboot flash single partition. Flash failed. Please try again." when trying to reflash stock ROM (with locked bootloader, and in the scenario mentioned above)? Also, how to fix that. Is there a way?
