We were just there on Nov. 17. Locals call that bridge the Kissing Bridge. The brother in law winters there, stays in a rental near the Decameron. Have walked through the market several times.
I don’t remember how much the cab was. The front desk told us how much was standard. Cabs on this side are way way cheaper than the Cancun /Mayan Riviera side
