That crooked tree is where I stayed! Awesome!!!! It’s an air b&b. Norma is the owner. I got an awesome massage from Lucinda (Luz) and they hold yoga and other meetings on their beautiful lawn. It has a very nice hotel and restaurant across the street. I celebrated my birthday and completely TEFL there! In July!
3:59 - 4:08 *Those are NOT "Tacky Souvenirs". That is art made by the indigenous people of the area known as The Wixaritari which are direct descendents of the Aztec (Mexica). This art is respected and known throughout Mexico.*
Perhaps I wasn't clear. In no way was I referring to the local art that is made locally, and is beautiful. I meant things like generic bottle openers that look exactly the same as in any other city/country (including Canada/Vancouver etc.) with just another name on it, and if I'm wrong on those then please correct me. Had we had the room, we would have bought the beaded animal skull @3:59 - absolutely stunning! Also, the metal work @5:09 is from Mexico and was featured in one of my Oregon coast videos from a store in Bandon @1:30-2:34 (Top things...Southern Oregon Coast) so it was cool to actually see a shop here selling them!
My husband and I are looking to buy a place there but would first like to spend a month or two and figure out it that's for us. Any suggestions for where we should stay?
We were happy with where we stayed at - Torre Agua Marina. Short tour here - ruclips.net/video/6qbWWbaCaig/видео.html Great location! The downside is construction on both sides. I'm sure there's other great paces too
To paraphrase, there are a lot of old people here which is odd because there is a cool vibe. No. What is odd is that you believe either (1) old people do not like a cool vibe, or (2) old peole don't deserve to experience a cool vibe. Pick your poison. But neither one of those are true and to suggest otherwise is very disappointing. Oh, it's after noon -- time for me to toddle off to bed.
there are tons of cheaper places to eat and just as good quality if not way better than the places you encountered. way better local places you just have to get off the beaten path
great example is villa del sol has a happy hour 2-4 for 2 for 1 drinks at awesome prices that cant be beat and food is amazing small place for some quite time

Sounds like the place you stayed at was fabulous! Did you like the July weather?

Ozzies has moved since you were here. They are now on the other side of Centro.
@@ourlifejourney9184 Do they have more room now?
How much is chicken per pound? $30 worth of chicken is 25-30 pounds.
It works out to $3.85USD /lb
So the 3kg/6.5lb of chicken worked out to around $30CAN or $25USD
Nice video, but you didn't visit Bucerias. You visited tourist Bucerias. The best food is in the non-gringo places. Maybe next time.
Totally agree. And we didn't see all of the tourist area either!
Maybe you could replace your word “Old” with Mature! Otherwise, good video.
😄 Fair point!
And thank you, I appreciate that :)
Fat boys was really good
The beach house had good drinks

Totally agree. Our condo neighbours had mentioned a few local eateries to go to. I wish we had several more weeks to really explore the area
