At my age of 65 I have seen numerous artists live in concert and I have had the pleasure of seeing Aurora live twice and there is no doubt in my mind that this young artist is the best live performer I’ve ever seen.the quality of her songwriting ability is outstanding it’s amazing to think she wrote this song at the age of 9 in fact she had written enough songs by the age of 16/17to fill her first album,and then add her voice WoW! But for me its more than that she cares deeply about life and is so humble,her love for her fans who are so important to her comes across all the time in every interview,she simply is a medicine to our heart who sings poetry to our souls and we are blessed to hear her.❤️🍎🎭💚💙💛🧡

AURORA, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter.(From the same country as Angelina Jordan). Among artists and in the music industry the Norwegian singer AURORA is synonymous with quality, and she can fill a record with masterpieces time and time again. Many others are glad they manage one hit. Billie Eilish said in an interview that it was AURORA that made her become an artist and were inspired after listen to Aurora. She is a true genius artist who does not make plastic / bikini music, but is true to real creative art.
You described Aurora and her music perfectly. There are no words to describe the feeling of being transported into the center of our heart of hearts. But somehow we find a way to talk about it. She is magic. She takes us to our own magic!
Aurora is nature defending itself with love. That is the core of it. She must be protected at all cost.

Watch her eyes at the end of a song. You will see her coming back to our world having given us all a glimpse of hers.
Every song different, every rendition changed. This concert was tuned to the setting with such skill. How I wish I could have been there.

I was working in my wood shop one day, I heard her for the first time. I shut the machines down and had to sit down and listen. One of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. Now, I listen to this in the shop. And I have to say, for someone half my age, she inspires me.

closing in on bday 79 and have seen and listened to a bunch of music in all genres. have NEVER seen anyone liKe Aurora. listen to her 2 to 4 hours every day and i am bedazzled. writer singer pianist arranger composer choreographer and a MESSENGER from someplace i know not where.
but i am a better person having found her as she invades my heart and soul--- and i am so grateful. i need to add that you are a pleasure to watch and i feel your empathy wisdom kindness and beauty right thru my screen and my wifey agrees. watch Aurora in Paris where she incorporates dancers, especially on WARRIOR OF LOVE. I like yor reaction , good work. You should really experience the acoustics of this cathedral of St.Olav. It is build of more than 70 different types of stones -and most of them are soft rocks as different kinds of soapstone and marbles. It is old, but it seems to be created for music . It´s acoustics complemented Auroras concert as if she was belonging in the iconostasis of the cathredal

Aurora is an experience to be enjoyed and cherished to the fullest.
This catherdral was made ontop of Norways king Olav II`s grave 1000 years ago and now we have a perfect culmination of history and art togheter in this one performence :)
I have watched every "reaction" video on RUclips done by Aurora. Her voice calms my anxiety down and makes me feel peaceful!!! I really enjoy watching you watch her...you feel her music the same way I do. I really hope to see you react to some Pentatonix music!!! Wooooow!!!!! This has to be my favorite performance by Aurora so far. Whoever suggested she perform in a cathedral knew exactly what they were doing. The walls and grandeur of this dome amplify the already beautiful sound of her voice and the amazing instruments. I was entranced from beginning to end! Absolutely fantastic! I would love to see and hear the rest of this concert. And your kind and meaningful words at the end put the cherry on top of this alluring performance. Thank you!
Fun Fact: It was actually a fiasco to allow her to play in the Cathedral! It was all over the Norwegian news. The counsel thought her music wasn't "godly enough" to be played. But her and her management did all they could, and it worked out.

This is a voice from heaven, this young woman channels directly to the highest angels, it's ethereal, angelical, divine, mesmerizing, transcendental. Like you said it's a kind of prayer to LIFE.

The song definitely is beautiful, however, I am not sure whether the message is actually "only" positive. Because she is not just singing things like "though there is darkness, we are still lucky to be alive", but the way she is singing, especially the "arent we lucky to be alive" sounds very melancholy or even sad, especially in the ending of the song. So I cannot shake the feeling, that this being lucky is not meant solely literal and honest but a tad bit sarcastic. Then it becomes more of a "thrownness" into life, in which we have to deal with suffering, a life we did not ask for and we had no choice, like in last century's existentialism. And I think this possible additional meaning of the song makes it even better and more complex.
Indeed, you are a truly empathetic listener. This song is about suicide - the offering - so the darker aspect that you are feeling and describe makes sense. Such a beautiful performance.

Yes, there should be no problem, as the video is produced by Norwegian state-run media (NRK), so is therefore copyright free and available for fair use such as reactions and commentary. Everybody should experience this whole concert at least once in life... I suggest many more viewings of course, just to remind you that you're alive and exist in the same world as Aurora :-)

I became an Aurora fan when I found her cover of a song from the band whos album is the soundtrack to my first time falling in love and subsequent heartbreak, Massive Attack 'Blue Lines'. Her cover of 'Teardrop' from the album Mezzanine is a gift to the ages. Enjoy and hope all of you find the music inside you.
