That's incredibly heartwarm!! That's increbibly awesome!! ---- Suddenly, I have an idea how to make even more wow-effect strikes and heartwarming, although it is already off the scale that you do! As I see it, you're using two wow-effect strikes right now: - suddenly to speak in your native language (first wow-strike!) - suddenly to use native slang (second wow-strike!) What if then to add a third wow-effect strike - to use classic national proverbs/sayings? (If you are talking witn normal, smart enough person) I can suggest trying some options in Russian :) For example, If someone says that he study a foreign language and it is very difficult, you can cheer him up by saying "Ничего, ничего, как это у русских говорят - Терпение и труд все перетрут!" Or for example, If someone asks: "Kazuma, why do you study language/languages?", you can answer by classic ancient Russian proveb: "Потому что... как это у русских говорят - Язык до Киева доведет!" Hi Алекс! First of all, thank you for finding my channel! I appreciate your idea! I couldn't think of proverbs. I've certainly been interested in them for a while, and I know some of them. I'll give it a try next time, thank you for that! :)
It’s possible to just learn key phrases and get the accent down to have a decent basic conversation in almost any language if you’re a good mimic. It’s kind of like a magic trick in a way, one that can fail when you run out of phrases. But you have to remember that Kazuma is a serious student who learns how to read and write the languages. When he only knows phrases he admits it. He always reminds the viewers that he’s learning and he never claims fluency despite his obvious command of a given language. And he doesn’t trick people and is very sensitive to his subject’s feelings. You know you are good when people think you are trying to fool them when they believe you must be from their country because you speak so well. There isn’t another polyglot like him I have seen. I love this man. His videos could be certified as an effective anti-depressant. After watching what he does your spirits will be lifted.

Thailand is a nice place to live and the food is delicious. There are a lot of Japanese towns here. The city of Sriracha where I live has 30,000-40,000 Japanese residents. There are a lot of Japanese restaurants in this city.
When you were speaking Indonesian I heard the word for world is duniya, it is also the same in Hindi, that was cool to hear because I never knew about that shared word. (The Indonesian word was pronounced a little differently from the Hindi one though.)

I'm English and lived in Thailand for 10 years and only speak very basic thai. Why ? Maybe because im old or just stupid, but it makes no sense to me so its difficult. Good job young man your amazing at learning languages.

I really wish I spoke more Japanese. Japanese women are so cute and respectful. So different than living in the states. I've only been to Japan twice, but my interaction with people has always been so nice. Hopefully one day I can stay there for a longer time to really immerse myself.

贅沢な暮らしさえ我慢できれば家賃も安いので、月に２～３回は日本居酒屋やラーメン店にも行けますｗ
私のように寒いのが苦手な人なら、一年中暖かいタイでの生活は最高です！

学校で英語教育を始める時にこの動画を見せたら取り組む意識が変わるのではないか。外国語が話せるとこんなに楽しいし、こんなに世界が広がるんだ、と。
あと、日本のアニメ文化は凄い、と時々テレビで取り上げられるが、アニメで日本語に興味を持った発言がチラホラ出ていて改めて実感できました。

What if then to add a third wow-effect strike - to use classic national proverbs/sayings? (If you are talking witn normal, smart enough person)
I can suggest trying some options in Russian :)
For example, If someone says that he study a foreign language and it is very difficult, you can cheer him up by saying "Ничего, ничего, как это у русских говорят - Терпение и труд все перетрут!"
Or for example, If someone asks: "Kazuma, why do you study language/languages?", you can answer by classic ancient Russian proveb: "Потому что... как это у русских говорят - Язык до Киева доведет!"
"Wow! Kazuma, what other Russian sayings do you know?!" "Да-да я знаю :) Работа не волк - в лес не убежит!"

It’s possible to just learn key phrases and get the accent down to have a decent basic conversation in almost any language if you’re a good mimic. It’s kind of like a magic trick in a way, one that can fail when you run out of phrases. But you have to remember that Kazuma is a serious student who learns how to read and write the languages. When he only knows phrases he admits it. He always reminds the viewers that he’s learning and he never claims fluency despite his obvious command of a given language. And he doesn’t trick people and is very sensitive to his subject’s feelings. You know you are good when people think you are trying to fool them when they believe you must be from their country because you speak so well. There isn’t another polyglot like him I have seen. I love this man. His videos could be certified as an effective anti-depressant. After watching what he does your spirits will be lifted.

When you were speaking Indonesian I heard the word for world is duniya, it is also the same in Hindi, that was cool to hear because I never knew about that shared word. (The Indonesian word was pronounced a little differently from the Hindi one though.)

I really wish I spoke more Japanese. Japanese women are so cute and respectful. So different than living in the states. I've only been to Japan twice, but my interaction with people has always been so nice. Hopefully one day I can stay there for a longer time to really immerse myself.
