- Since the launch of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny, we've been eager to get our hands on one. Now, Maruti Suzuki has provided us with a Jimny automatic for a long-term review, offering us the ideal opportunity to experience the SUV's true character. It's been three months and here is the first update.

I am a Jimny owner last 7months I have only Two complaints No seat height adjustment and some bottle holders otherwise its a fantastic car in on road and off road
to those who are saying that jimny price is high ,jimny price in dubai is 110000 dhs which means 2400000 inr ... in india the vehicle price is only 1300000 for full option the balance is gst sgst tax insurance and other expenses

@lijuradhakrishnan3465 why any one will buy this when you can buy thar. Coil spring suspension, no power, turning radius of a lorry. Puny looks. 130 nm torque for an offroader is a such a joke. If maruthi think this is a family offroader then they should give it enough power to off road with family not solo.

See it's 3-link Rigid Axle Type with Coil Spring which gives a very comfortable riding.
Second thing me as well booked this initially and cancelled due to its heavy price. Later I got 3+ offer recently, as a gypsy fan I bought it with zero expectations.
I am owning a 1.5 Kushaq, I thought of using Jimny for sometime and sell it or keep it as second car.
But the truth now is am always taking Jimny for my travels.
You can take it to anywhere which Thar can't.
Awesome suspension which won't tire you even if you ride it for hour's where Thar will, as its body roll is more.
Issue is power, so for long travels I use my Kushaq.
But still have options to tune it. Am waiting it to complete 15K kms.
Turning radius in few places caused issues.
Looks as well is not upto the mark.
But it's a pocket rocket that you will start loving if you start driving it. Thar have only looks, I used it for 6 months when my friend went for an onsite work. But it's powerful.
Finally am not using my bullet now a days, previously I won't use car for very short commutation as its tough to take it as well as park it, now whole story changed, I can park it even in a very small place.
Off-road capability is awesome, some friends those who consider it as a Life style vehicle not as a daily commute one is super happy than me.

my jimny done 18000 km already , whatever he says is absolutely true.before jimny my trips were tired of driving and after jimny its become more and more fun ..its like its made for indian roads and terrains, NP i sold my thar after started driving jimny. verde kidakn kandal edth oodikan thonnum its like so easy to go anywhere

TRANSFER CASE (4WD) Use 4WD position for offroad driving or on slippery roads (wet, snow-covered muddy, etc.). STOP THE VEHICLE completely and shift transmission to Neutral (or depress clutch pedal, if equipped) before shifting transfer case position between 4H and 4L DO NOT shift between 2H and 4H while driving unless the front wheels are in the straight-ahead position, speed is less than 100km/h, and accelerator pedal is released. IF 4WD indicator lamp does not light, or blinks after shifting from 2H to 4H, STOP the vehicle or SLOW DOWN and shift again. SEE OWNER' S MANUAL FOR MORE INFORMATION.

നാലു ഡോറിലും ബോട്ടിൽ ഹോൾസറും, മുന്നിൽ ആം റെസ്റ്റും, പിൻസീറ്റിൽ കുറച്ചു കൂടി തൈ സപ്പോർട്ടും, പിൻസീറ്റിൽ വെയ്റ്റ് സെൻസറും, നടുവിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് സീറ്റ് ബെൽറ്റും , 5 OR 6 സ്പീഡ് AT ഗിയർ ബോക്സും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ജിംനിയുടെ വിൽപ്പന ഗ്രാഫ് എത്ര ഉയരുമായിരുന്നു. 5 ഡോറുണ്ടായാലും ജിംനി ഒരു ഫാമിലി വെഹിക്കിൾ ആയി കണക്കാക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ല. മാരുതി അതു കൂടി പരിഗണിക്കണമായിരുന്നു. ഇന്ത്യാക്കാരുടെ മനസ്സറിയുന്ന മാരുതിയിൽ നിന്നും ജനം അതു പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഏറെ നാളത്തെ നീണ്ട കാത്തിരിപ്പിനു ശേഷം ജിം നി പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ പ്രതീക്ഷയോടെ ടെസ്റ്റ് ഡ്രൈവ്ചെയ്ത് നിരാശനായ ഒരു ജിംനി ആരാധകനാണു ഞാൻ. കസ്റ്റമേഴ്സിന്റെ താത്പര്യം മനസ്സിലാക്കി ജിംനിയ്ക്ക് താമസംവിനാ ഒരു ഫേസ് ലിഫ്റ്റ് ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

6airbags should give adequate safety.Jimny is built quite well 1200kg. If you collide with a truck then even 5 star can't save u.
Let Maruthi Suzuki sell this for below 9lakhs or less. Then there is at least a chance to sell better. Didn’t meet the expectations of Indian customers. But, It’s a sweet tiny bug. 🤛🏾

No matter how hard you guys push. This will be the most overpriced useless shit maruthi ever made. Instead of giving it a proper engine and gear box they made it as power full as the car 2 segment below and expect people to buy it.
