One quick thought I had, I was curious if you tried the "flow" transition between images. That uses optical flow as well, and might save you the step of exporting the video. Just a random thought I had! I have no clue if it would work.

Good question! Off hand, I don’t think it would work, because the four separate images joined by flow still couldn’t be slowed to 6% without compounding, but the flow optical flow transition sections would be locked in place before you slowed that compound clip (without the ability to check the optical flow option for the rest unless you export that clip first). If that makes sense… 🫢
