Love seeing how triathletes tend to be pretty resourceful as far as training. From finding lakes, bodies of water in the middle of nowhere to swimming in their backyards in a kiddie pool with a cord. Make the best of what's up there, staying positive in the situation, and just keep moving forward 👍!
popular flat/rolling KOMs are usually done in a group, with a hurricane tailwind, behind a bus. Crazy hard to just roll up and go for it in normal conditions. Ballsy attempt and awesome effort Paula!

I do not think people really understand the effort put into making these. My current favorite channel on YT. You have nailed the narrative which is what I think other creators lack. You have to have steel in the walls before you worry about other flourishes and you have it in spades. Love it!

This is brilliant as ever - really enjoying it - I’m so interested in the tether stuff - I’ve been doing it when I visit my dads in France - it’s so hard to know what to do - I’m interested in Paulas use of the bouy - is that because the kick tangled up the tether? I’ve never thought of doing that. Also - YES - the snorkel - because the water’s not moving, there’s no bow wave to breath in - that’s another superb idea! I was doing sets of counting 100 strokes and trying to maintain the same spot in the pool... that was all I could think of doing as a session really...! Awesome vid man, production (as ever) is total 🔥- not just inspiring me to train harder but also make my vids better too..!!!

Thanks for this. Ironman Tulsa is now postponed. It hadn't hit me until this weekend. Gravel riding may have to keep me busy for awhile. The swim tether may take some getting use to. Thanks Eric, Paula, Wattie and Heather!!!

Great drone shots Eric of sunrises & sunsets at campsites. Paula's creations even camping look (and probably taste) delicious. How did the water at Parker Dam feel compared to San Francisco Bay (mid/hi 50s)? Keep up these entertaining and unique vids, they are much appreciated.
For better experience with the swim tether, use buoy, and/or short intervals for power. It’s hard to get into a groove and do a “long swim” effort. I travel for a living and use the tether in all kinds of hotel pools. Edit I see that’s what y’all did!
Hey Eric & Paula, huge handicap doing a TT on a road bike, at least get clip ons bars if you don't have a TT bike handy that fits. Also pick a day with minimal wind. Paula, you have the engine & skills to challenge anyone on this course, BUT don't put yourself at a disadvantage with equipment and weather.
I'd like to hear your thoughts on what you believe your season to entail and how you have changed your training approach at this moments. Love all the content.
We’ll touch on that at some point for sure. Right now the videos pretty much say what we’re doing and how we’re feeling.. taking it day by day, enjoying what we can.. no idea when we’ll race again. But once we do know, we’ll share!

It’s just weird. We love training, so we’re still having fun, but the competitive side of us is having a little crisis for sure haha the KOM attempts take the edge off 😉
