This week we headed to Bend to visit Heather Jackson and her husband Wattie, and on the way we stopped at Trillium Lake and took Flynn for his first run.

Is it weird that I’m jealous of Flynn’s triathlon lifestyle? I mean gets to join in on workouts and hang out with some of the coolest people in the world. You guys are awesome.

The Mt. Hood NF is literally my office Apr-Oct...and it's so fun to see you guys training and filming in my current "backyard"! We've been working on taking care of hazard trees around Trillium over the past 2 weeks or so, and I'm glad to see folks outside enjoying it! Would be absolutely STOKED to run into you guys one day- I'm always on the lookout for the van or Flynn!;) Great content yet again. Keep killin it y'all!!

Great vid! You should look at getting Flynn into canicross. Our beagle loves it (does 5k park run up to ~30k trail runs!) would thoroughly recommend

Awesome! Maybe a helpful dog tip, we taught our brick of a bulldog to swim with a life jacket. It helped give her confidence and she figured out how to use the back legs 😂 it made me believe all dogs got in them 😀 hope Flynn gets it bc there’s nothing better than doing a training swim with your pup!

Sounds like a bit of controversy in the Zwift race maybe, but get that you don't want to go there in this video, keeping it classy as always! Recently watched a video about running with dogs. Strong advice to learn commands to start to pull and stop and give water at room temperature only

Bend is awesome! We actually stayed in bend on the way back after I asked you for restaurant recommendations, and even stayed an extra night. I totally agree about moving there!

Flynn has re-invented doggy paddle. First dog I’ve ever seen swim it with paws recovering OUT of the water. Brilliant.

Hey Eric great video. Do you have any recommendations on flat trail (soft surface) routes in oregon (preferably portland/beaverton/tigard) area?
actually, that is one of our main complaints with Portland in general.. Leif Erickson is pretty much the only soft-ish, flat-ish surface that I know of. But I'm not a Beaverton expert.

Since there is no consistency with power reporting with trainers, Zwift pedal racing can never be seen as legitimate.
that's why I (Eric) don't do it. I find I'm happier racing people I don't know on there.
