- Bindoon Hill is approximately 90km North of Perth Western Australia on the Great Northern Highway. This corridor is the gateway to the Northwest and our booming mining region. On a daily basis hundreds of large vehicles carrying all manner of merchandise traverse this Highway as they head North to destinations in all corners of the State and beyond.
This video shows a sample of the type of vehicles that you would expect to see on the road at any given time. These videos were all taken within a 1hour time frame, this fact alone gives you some sort of idea just how busy this road is and some concept of what travellers who share the road will encounter. The road looks the same as it was in the 80s could do with a major overhall
Great footage, especially the drone work. At 6:08 that wasn't Steve Grahame's second truck, by any chance, was it?
Not sure. I'm not familiar with him.
@@Bigrigsaustralia. From Outback Truckers. He's the all time most popular truckie in Australia. 🙂
@@gsd4me00 I probably worded that wrong. I know who he is but Im not familiar with his trucks.
Looked like Mr.grahams truck. Perhaps a Design copyright from a big Fan...
the road surface looks like its up for replacement, Toll Express have a new name?
@gregj7916 I see heaps of Toll trucks. I'm guessing they have different arms of their business. As for the road yeh I agree but when you compare to outback Qld they are fine.
For a total length of 3,200km the GNH is in pretty good shape.
@@jimmy_flaps I agree. WA roads are pretty good. QLD roads suck
