    Really loving GRACIE ALLEN 💕 She was a really sweet & funny lady !! Still enjoying old radio comedy in 2022 Music City Tennessee.

    Did you know that Gracie was originally supposed to be the straight woman? The married team is amazing! One of my favorites.
    The duo first teamed up in 1923 following the break up of George’s partnership with straight man Billy Lorraine. Burns later recalled… “ they laughed when she asked the questions and didn’t laugh when I gave the punchline, so I gave her all the jokes.”

    As heard on NBC's Thursday night schedule at 8:30pm(et). However, this is the West Coast rebroadcast, at 9pm(pt), as "NOAH WEBSTER SAYS" followed at 9:30 ["THE KRAFT MUSIC HALL" followed George & Gracie in most areas of the country at 9pm].
