Followed the 30 for years. I waited with baited breath for this incarnation to finally get in the tracks and she, is, a, BEAUTY!!👌🏼👍 Shawno, you’ve outdone yourself with this ute mate!! Now you just need to ship it and a few of the crew over to New Zealand and spend some time in our backyard 😜🤘🏼 Looking forward to the Kimberley clip!!
@@tomwce1 Still has CVs, its housed within the solid axle which makes them stronger and they don’t have the limits of flex like an external MFStrut IFS system, easy to fix and maintain but as Richard has said, more power means more stress on stock axle and CV internally inside the sold axle, even stock setup, axles break, I hope he’s going to some Chromoly axle upgrades.
There are fans on the intercooler!!! That's a lovely difference from most top mount setups. Living in Geraldton WA, I have seen plenty of people with top mounts that have no fans and they suffer so badly in the gnarly sand we have here. Massive load and nearly zero airspeed. Nicely done.
Wow Shauno! What an amazing build! You have got to be happy with that thing! Cant wait to see how it goes over in the kimberlys as I’ll be there a month after you guys!
Saw you and this beast on the southern end of Fraser today. I was going to pull over but was battling the softish sand towing my camper trailer. The bloke behind us stopped and showed us his photo with you. Have a good trip and love the channel.
What I do like about this channel is that they don't rag on other peoples builds or choices. Much less arrogant than some others and it's nice to watch without someone being a total pigeon on everything that isn't what they have or do.
Shauno Should get Darryl the patrol onto the dino That would be a funny See how much kilowatts of power she has left 👍And also Jocko should put the pony onto the dino 👍
Hi, l had the same done to my 2018 Isuzu Xmas and picked up a 30+ kw improvement in power is next trip is to the outback soon pulling a trailer will see how it goes this trip, thanks for the show boys.
Shauno your dirty 30 truck is the best of all time on your show 4x4 247 mate my name Mitch I love 4x4s ever since I was little so I love it and I love your 4wd collection of trucks man.
After attempting a lot of custom stuff myself, I really appreciate just how incredible this build is, even amongst the sea of ‘epic’ RUclips and IG builds
With great power comes great responsibility🤙 She’s a total beast the VDJ70s bonnet integration and PWR TMIC, radiator, turbski etc etc looks and sound amazing, look forward to seeing her perform on an upcoming trip! Are you using stock axles and CVs, maybe some RCVs or Longfields might me required to handle that power in extreme situations you are bound to find yourself in, at least you have the auto to put that power to the ground gently without launch’s and clutch kicking like Sooty, hope the big girl (80) gets some love in the future, you got quite the 4wd stable now Shauno, congrats mate🤙🍺
Very healthy numbers! Can't wait for the Kimberly... But can't believe your timing. I swear every time you plan a trip Queensland goes into lockdown or WA closes their border for one reason or another. Poor buggers!
looks absolutely mint Shauno well done, fix that bonnet gap to the guards though :') other than that, im keen to see this thing tackle Australia once again!
Well its about bloody time you guys came over to WA shauno no offence mate 😁, on my trip around Oz with the wife one of the most amazing places had to b the Kimberley, so please can u guys do more over here I know Covid is an issue but would b a nice change, than u guys constantly going back to the same 4wd places thanx 👍
Sounds like they’re a good candidate for the 200 series chop and extend from dmw! Little extra room but still capable! Or maybe a newer fj79 four door with the full canopy from dmw. Red arc everything and carry over all the electric needs from the old Nissan.
Great stuff and glad to see it. I typically watch but don't comment. Would love to see your reaction to some of our American trucks and SUVs. 400 hp is standard for full size trucks. About 300 for smaller. Check out the new Ram TRX pickup. That thing is a screamer!
now mist water at the intercooler to keep it cool with evaporation be ideal for when there working hard with little airflow like old rally cars etc used to run on there topmounts
I’m a film grad at ECU, if you ever need a extra pair of hands I’d love to help, I’ve used the canon c series before and I have a lot of drone experience and 360 cameras as well :)
Efficiency and reliability in a 4wd is king! Perfect tune there Shauno. There seems to be a bit of a push by people on social media to wind up boost and fuel like we're tuning skylines. Each to their own, but if you actually plan to use the 4wd and go beyond being a weekend warrior then a safe and reliable tune is what you want.
G'day Shauno, Im looking forward to your Kimberly Trip & I know you Bloke's will be under Adult Supervision when there, referring to Graham being with you. He's a Fair-Dinkum Sand-Groper & will look after the place, LOL. Anyway Safe Adventures Mate, Stevo.
It’s a absolute beast isn it great to see the build be good to see graham do the same to shorty. And then both of them to the Kimberly. Hope you have head studs instead of bolts I have a UFi built stroked 18g patrol didn know needed arp studs instead of just head bolts. towing the van medium sized hill on 30 pound boost stretched the bolts, lifted the head water went in compressed cracked the block and head grabbed a liner and all so now back to rebuilding it 20 or so grand so anyone boosting over 22 pound please go to arp head studs with patrol few mods need to be done to accomodate the studs lewis engines do a video on it for everyone. It will save a lot of money in the long run there expensive $1200 but great insurance for a power build like the 30 Keep up the great work 4wd 24/7 team.
What’s the calculation for power at the crank with this combination of 35” tyres and transmission? You must be up around a 1000Nm at the crank now. Can you give us feedback on this in a future show?
Soon as I win the lotto. I'm gonna build one of these FTEs with an auto in a chopped 60 or 80, definitely froth this. Only question is, do you need to remap/tune the auto once you tune the engine to this much power
Need to put this up againts Al from the skid factory's new Cummins powered GU!
Not really a fair comparison man 🤣
I wouldn’t mind seeing that
@@bumndrass why you gotta be like that?
Not a fair comparison
The Cummins has a load more displacement so it will make power easier
@@warpillow8775 like what?

*bated* breath
double up on the spare CV's you are going to need them. LOL
its solid axel

And engines and gear boxes, oh and diffs
Just get a patrol = bulletproof
I know right should of gone for patrol
Finally! Showcasing some of WA's awesome 4wd locations. I can't wait to see you guys in the Kimberley.
Coming from a Patrol fan, Shauno this cruiser is a BEAST!!! can't wait to see it on track! LEGEND!!
ABSOLUTE BEAST! Love the dirty 30! ❤️🐞
Hi thanks for the great video on the Dirty 30. Wow nice up grade on it. Looking forward to the next video.. Be Safe Ontario Canada.

*dyno
Didn't actually know that they made a dyno that can measure only single figure outputs..😝
Daryl needs a turbo v8 engine
It would definitely make a good episode to have all the boys meet up and dyno their vehicles.
then go ripping afterwards of course.
Shauno’s got a loooooooooot of money!!!
Gimme some!!!
I’m so jealous!!!!! That’s a dream rig Shauno!!!
It’s gorgeous. Last of the good cruisers IMO
@@jamezxh 80 is also good one
Haha, awesome stuff matey. Absolutely love your shows.
Excited to hear you guys are going on a a longer touring type trip to the kimberlys like you used to in older videos
What a build, that torque would feel wicked
It comes as a dream car for me
Really really well done
Nice grunty little beast! Definitely going to be nice for 4 wheeling! Enjoy!
Hi, l had the same done to my 2018 Isuzu Xmas and picked up a 30+ kw improvement in power is next trip is to the outback soon pulling a trailer will see how it goes this trip, thanks for the show boys.
We need a battle of the Landcruisers episode, Sooty VS the Dirty 30. Graham can drive the Dirty 30.
That's true Shauno should see this and try
that aint gonna happenlol
What about Sam’s Naughty 40? That thing has a Gturbo BBX at 30psi! It’s a monster.
Shauno your dirty 30 truck is the best of all time on your show 4x4 247 mate my name Mitch I love 4x4s ever since I was little so I love it and I love your 4wd collection of trucks man.
ok
Can't wait to see that beast in action.
What a beast!!!!
This rig without sponsorship would have been eyewateringly expensive to build
That truck is an animal!!! What a beast.
The last few minutes were the every guys pure joyful moment!
Absolute demon, love it.
Man that thing is a weapon! Jealous mate 😂
Nice one Shauno..
Shauno you are a great bloke.👍
Love to see a 0-100 with this beast!
Great job 👏 very well 👍
Nice job brother
After attempting a lot of custom stuff myself, I really appreciate just how incredible this build is, even amongst the sea of ‘epic’ RUclips and IG builds
Yeu that this g looks sick
Increasing the air flow is where the gains came from. But that type of set up will suffer severely from heat soak.
We want more!!!!
Beautiful machine
With great power comes great responsibility🤙

I can't help thinking that this beast really should be called "The Dirty 32"
Love you vids man
I put it down to the fact that it’s still the 60 series 😛
Chat to Rodney and perhaps drop your stall speed on converter. As you might see some heat on auto now with extra power
Very healthy numbers! Can't wait for the Kimberly... But can't believe your timing. I swear every time you plan a trip Queensland goes into lockdown or WA closes their border for one reason or another. Poor buggers!
Sick!
I wanna see a show off, the new rides vs the toughest tracks you have to offer.
Very perfect
Now you need to put to test and see what your egt is when cruising.
Time for a shed skid🤘
Love it, and be sure to pack a sh1tload of extra drivetrain spares.
That new hoodie😲😲
looks absolutely mint Shauno well done, fix that bonnet gap to the guards though :') other than that, im keen to see this thing tackle Australia once again!
That was bugging me too. Glad I'm not the only one haha
I put the gap down to it not being latched, but the mismatched colour was bothering me.
Wow old 70 :)

All that power just to breakdown on the trail and get put back in the shop AGAIN lol 😂
Can not wait to see her hit the tracks.
Seeing that you have done those upgrades would have to make any more changes to the drive line to handle the extra power ?
Sounds like they’re a good candidate for the 200 series chop and extend from dmw! Little extra room but still capable! Or maybe a newer fj79 four door with the full canopy from dmw. Red arc everything and carry over all the electric needs from the old Nissan.
Nice truck
Yep wouldnt have a efi turbo anywhere near my rig or car.
Would be good to see boost and MAD lines too
Man id love to see yall build and wheel a 1st-3rd gen 4runner/Hilux Surf
How does Shauno like the sound of the UFI turbo? I’ve got the 18G on my Patrol & love it.
Would love to know the build cost on this thing so far... definately 6 figures, just not sure if the lead number is a 1,2 or 3 haha

Yep, TFL is popular and see it there. Romans precious truck. 🤙🏼
Wait to you meet these guys on the tracks.....
What ya mean?
Absolute dream car!
Well done Shauno!
Torque Monster!!!
Love the 30 Shawno 😍
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!! Get shorty on the Kimberly trip, it would be the greatest thing ever!!!

got a blinker out on the left side.
What work is being done on the fj in the background?
While you are spending even more money on turbo set up and in the cooler set up you might as well do the Aircon too
Frickin mint😍😍😍
Should put a water sprayer on top of that intercooler for hot situations
Whats the background music on the intercooler introduction 4 min in?
800mn , tbh no need to even blink an eye at power figures, that’s monster as long as it’s at the right rev range your going to smash it

Must of done ok with a $2 scratchie hey Shauno 🤣 In all seriousness mate, the 30 looks beautiful, well done.
needs that much power to tow his boat!
Na that's why he got the 200 for

Make sure you take a spare gearbox with you on your long trips. Even a built A750 won’t like that torque.
Should put a scoop on the 80
What's the L/100km with the new set up??
I’m a fan
love the content guys
Have you been up the Watagan Mountains and over to Wollombi..
Not sure if you showed it but do you have a catch can?
400-450 egt’s highway sounds shithously high. Who did the tune the first time?
What transmission does the truck have and what upgrades are needed to handle that torque?

What’s the calculation for power at the crank with this combination of 35” tyres and transmission? You must be up around a 1000Nm at the crank now. Can you give us feedback on this in a future show?
Bit of a checky question but how much have you put in to getting the 30 to this monster
Soon as I win the lotto. I'm gonna build one of these FTEs with an auto in a chopped 60 or 80, definitely froth this. Only question is, do you need to remap/tune the auto once you tune the engine to this much power
upgrade the valve body and put a unichip in. As long as the chip has torque cut between gears should be fine.
Or if you wanna put it another way that's not such a dick yes you do
Ohhh boy that thing would put horn on a jellyfish !!!
Awsome Shauno
Love that rig
U guys selling those hoodies u had on at the end there mate cheers
