Shauno i could watch you Talk about breeding kittens and id still be entertained, Your attention to detail is amazing. Love the build, Looking forward to the next build ep.
I chose your channel because my Dad on his death bed spoke like you, researched like you, enjoyed the two 4wd drive vehicles he had like you. And was able to complete all of the Far Western NSW Broken Hill type challenges without being hitched or trayed on recovery. Everything you talk about makes sense. Availability, reliability, financial, tried and tested by blokes who aren’t sponsored. They just love it. Thanks
Was just driving home and thinking I wish Shaun would post more about the derty 30 build. Just got home and I'm so stocked! Thanks mate the rigs looking good
Love you're passion and your narrative. You're one of the few people that has found and works on his true Passion. Better said, you've made your passion your job.
Shauno Mate! what an episode, frothing over all of this. keep up the good work, love it how you take your time in explaining things in detail, and why you chose particular things in the new dirty 30. Can't wait for the next episodes. Legends!
Nice one Shauno!! Its gonna be one "Goor-met" Dirty 30. I bet Graham is jelly AF! been watching you guys since the start and now getting out and living the dream 4x4ing/camping/cooking. Love it all!! thanks for your hard work and dedication. Cheers from Adelaide SA
Loving the build, in my view basic is best. The more whistles and bells the more to go wrong, I'm liking your commentary lots of technical info in real world terminology, please keep it up Shaun 😁
I’m no mechanic, but whatever it takes to get you to the cooking part of the show is worth it!! Love every episode, especially the camp cooking. From the states. Best wishes and stay safe!!
Hey Shaun, great episode I've got a 80 with a 1HDFTE and 5 speed auto non paddle shift and I am in awe of the smoothness and power each time confirmed it is the ultimate.
Makes me wonder what's going on in the world of RUclips. There's Turbo Yoda working on a Land Cruiser, while Shauno appears to be getting his hands (ever so slightly) dirty in the workshop!
I am still in the progress looking for an apprenticeship in mechanic but before I did my Certificate II in Mechanic last year, I did not understood anything about the vehicle parts or any of the mechanic language but after I did the course, watching this is like, I can almost understood of which part of the vehicle and engine Shauno is talking about. Its like you are hearing a new language :) This is a really good video for beginners for those who wants to learn and become a mechanic.
Loving your work mate! Owner of a 98 75 series and I’m about to strip the old girl down and swap out chassis to 80 series, get rid of the rust and give her a juicy paint! 1hz running like a work horse at the moment, might start thinking of an engine swap when I hit the 500xxx mark. Keep up your work mate and I’m sure all of us are loving the vids 👍🏽
Hi Shaun!, I recently bought 1998 Toyota Hilux from a friend, it's my first time to venture into a 4X4 build, and your show really helps me to know the ins and outs of the build , just want to say I really appreciate your passion. Good job mate!
Hey Shaun.. The Dirty 30 is going to look awesome. Cant wait to see the rest of the build and ultimately seeing it out in the bush with the rest of the gang. (Can see you cooking a gourmet meal out the back of this rig...) Thanks for the great videos..
Hi Shaun Michael from Carmic trailer repairs I asked you about the eaton true trac diff centers got response so I bit the bullet and just did it . What a difference it made to my 4x4 experience more power to the ground better control and they are literally indestructible .
Great choice of engine. It's bullet proof. And if you told me last year that one day, I'd love a beige coloured car, I would have told you, you're off your rockers. But this beige just works on the 60 Series (even on BJ40s).
Hey mate, looking good. It's great to watch as I am currently in a similar circumstance building my own Frankenstein cruiser, building a HZJ79 out of 79 and HZJ75 parts. Learning about the slightly different parts between the 15 years between the vehicles etc. But watching you is great because so much is relatable to my own build
Shauno I like the new dirty 30 so far I hop I see it on the tracks aging and I hop you have aircon it in this time for the hot weather and i passed all my subjects in school i got B and A Shauno s your a legend mate keep up the hard work replie to this pls mate
That's interesting hearing Shaun talk about the on off power of the 12ht. My uncle's 60 had the 12ht motor and the reason I was so inlove with it was the control of the throttle it had. It was however very sensitive but having good foot control and being aware with your foot you could peddle it very easily
Shaun, I love your videos and especially watching the progress on the Dirty30. Keep them coming. You've renewed my love for Toyotas for I once had '80 LB 4x pickup and now it's a Ford FX4, but I'm thinking about a Toyota 80 series to run around the mountains here in Montana. Keep it up and say hi to Graham for me.
Awesome to watch and see everything being done. Fantastic work! Gotta admit though, died a little inside seeing the balancer being down up with the bolt+impact gun 😅
Hey shaun’o! Awesome build mate, following the progress, good stuff. Would love to meet you and the team, if you guys ever come back to Hobart, Tassie! Cam 🤙🏻

Really like the fact, you're focussing on so many details making it a proper build from scratch!
Love you're passion and your narrative. You're one of the few people that has found and works on his true Passion. Better said, you've made your passion your job.

Shauno, very inspirational work. I absolutely love the build and it’s motivating me to get onto starting my 45/80 build.
Feel bad for the wreckers now.. Imagine the amount of phone calls they'll get after this video lol
haha, they can handle it. They are the biggest wreckers in Oz.
Great to hear mate.. I can't wait to turn the key
Meanwhile on the Skid factory they are using a V12 Toyota engine from a limo into an FJ! LOL
Yeah but that one won't see half the work this does. Still a cool build though.
Yes but the skid factory are building a completely 2wd landcruiser which is just wrong!!
Makes me wonder what's going on in the world of RUclips. There's Turbo Yoda working on a Land Cruiser, while Shauno appears to be getting his hands (ever so slightly) dirty in the workshop!
It doesn’t need 4wd when it weighs 20kgs. Yoda knows what’s up. The fj is purely for bashing Roos and running from crocs.
Two of my favourite channels. The v12 sound in that suby tho 👊

Keep up your work mate and I’m sure all of us are loving the vids 👍🏽

best of luck with the build Shaun
Hi Shaun!, I recently bought 1998 Toyota Hilux from a friend, it's my first time to venture into a 4X4 build, and your show really helps me to know the ins and outs of the build , just want to say I really appreciate your passion. Good job mate!

Hey Shaun.. The Dirty 30 is going to look awesome. Cant wait to see the rest of the build and ultimately seeing it out in the bush with the rest of the gang. (Can see you cooking a gourmet meal out the back of this rig...) Thanks for the great videos..
Be careful all the mods to be reliable because this is what matters the most...

Good stuff shauno, gonna be a weapon of a 30 mate..
Hi Shaun Michael from Carmic trailer repairs I asked you about the eaton true trac diff centers got response so I bit the bullet and just did it . What a difference it made to my 4x4 experience more power to the ground better control and they are literally indestructible .
Nice mate! 1HD-FTE is a beautiful engine. Just installed one in my 105 series... I also stroked it too... goes like the clappas

This thing is beautiful! Whats the ETA on seeing it in a 4wd Action DVD??
No more 4wd action dvds mate, they are all gonna be on RUclips now
Yeah I don’t think anybody was buying the mags anymore plus RUclips is free to upload
