Idk if anyone has threatened the Schumachers but if they gave them something they would go to great measures for more. It’d be pretty hard to want to trust humanity again after that and after 10 years you’d think you would give up. You were a true example of how people should be... how to treat our fellow man. What is worst about brain damage is that it isn't immediate. Like a certain boxer, Michael was awake after the accident but slowly made less sense. I think that is the most frightening thing in the world. To feel as you are loosing what makes us ourselves. Just as the boxer cried out "don't leave me" to his family as he lost consciousness. And now it feels he is no longer the same person. Barely walks. Barely talks. Acts more like a child. It must be so horrible. To be aware enough to know how much of everything zou lost but never be able to gain it back.

I have been following F1 since 1980 and studied what went on before that quite a lot, and there's absolutely no doubt in my mind: Schumacher is hands down the best race car driver in the history of motor racing. Having witnessed his entire career, there has simply never been another driver who was so much better than anyone else. Ridiculously good is an understatement! When talking about F1 history, there's Schumacher and there's everybody else.

How ironic that he practiced and excelled at such a dangerous sport, which could have killed him every time he did it, only to end up being defeated by a rock on a ski slope. He loved racing/speed, and it was a race/speed that stopped him, but not the race he thought would stop him. It's like a sad bad joke. Bet he never even entertained a single thought that he might be put permanently out of action by a bit of fun, skiing. He has been bed-ridden and brain damaged for so long, I can't see him ever returning to any semblance of normality. I guess the next real update about him, will be that he's finally resting in eternal peace.
