I do believe from memory, although it fails me from time to time, R102 (resistor 102) is the brake light culprit. hope this helps.
thank my brother. you make do diy easy
You are welcome
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us 🙏🏽
I've had to do the above, but I've also ran into terminal tension issues as the cause.
Great work! If I may make a suggestion? Before you remove the gauge needle, place a piece of tape under the needle and mark the position with a black marker. That way, when you put em back... you know exactly where to place the needle. Hope it helps🤷
yep... i use that method on cluster where i dont have a bench power setup....works great
Did you drill down and find out which resistor is for the airbag light?
how do i get the dome light and mileage to work after upgrading from a cluster without a tach to a cluster with a tach?
will you be uploading any more vids,,
What kind of iron are you using?
I am having these exact symptoms on my gauge cluster.
How do I send mine to you to have it fixed or can you recommend some other people that do this because the ones I've found don't seem to know about these resistors being an issue.
The problems I'm having are the brake light is on and over bumps and stuff like that it turns off and the airbag light occasionally cuts in and out and causes the truck to start screaming about it
