    Black tape works great. Back in the days when real people drove cars and trucks we didn’t need “what my father called idiot lights.” You put the key in start, push in the clutch release the break and go.

    My ABS light is on as well as my park brake. Is one system connected to the other?

    So the cluster sends the 5v and not pcm?

  • @adkisojk

    What do you mean by "cluster?"

    • @ryanwolfenberger
      @ryanwolfenberger Год назад +2

      "Cluster" is the combination meter or where all the dials are. Speedometer, warning lights, oil gauge, battery, ect.

      Yes, as Ryan stated.

    Hi NZ DIAGNOSTICS
    Can you please provide the name of the tools used to fix the issue on the video Red Brake Warning Light Stuck On Dash
    have the same issue, the brake fluid switch has been replaced, the cluster has been checked and works properly.
    thanks in advance, I will be waiting for your response.

      I had the Circuit board repaired on the instrument cluster.

    Only applies to three wire sensors.

    Want to hear something weird?, One night while walking by my shed where my 93 F-250 was parked one brake light came on slowly and dimly for only a second then went off slowly one time, the truck hadn't been driven in months and the battery was so dead it wouldn't even click when I turned the key to check for power. Is this a case of a ghost in the machine? My theory is built up static from wind that lit the bulb...what else could it be?

      Low volatge.

      Thanks for the reply....I'm curious though, why just once and never again?...shouldn't it be doing it all the time?...what causes it to activate when it does?@@nzdiagnostics4991

      low voltage? what switch was turned on and what activated it? why did it only do it once?@nostics4991

    I don't understand what you did to fix this.. it's unclear

    • @nzdiagnostics4991
      @nzdiagnostics4991  Год назад +1

      Instrument Cluster Board needs repaired or whole unit replaced. It's more cost-effective to have the board repaired.

      @@nzdiagnostics4991 It's probably me, but I don't understand how it was showing one number and then all of a sudden it's showing 5? did I miss a step? Did you swap out a switch? I'm not very electrical so, again, maybe it's me.

    • @nzdiagnostics4991

      @Seek-Wander-Find I'm proving out that the issue is within the cluster electrical board. I can understand it's difficult to follow if you're not familiar with technical diagnosis.
