THIS is one of the better bootleg videos of the tour. I have several and not many have as good camera work or sound. The camera work is important. Whoever filmed this one did a good job.
Honestly, it didn't sound like Ace, "messed up", it sounded a string slipping when it's not quite stretched right and he went to the octive note on another string to make up for it...he actually saved the solo....
This tour was messed up. It really was farewell. Ace was still messed up on something that's why he messed up. This wasnt the first time he made mistakes. He was playing in the wrong key on other songs at other shows. His head wasn't right. Too bad too because of all the money he made on these reunion tours, you figure he would have straightened himself out, guess not.
okay people bitched alot about peter drumming slow. Well he is old, Non-stop touring does get to you. Plus this doesn't sound slow at all. But going torwards the end of the tour he did get alot slower. Him and ace burned out quick
I think that there was a bit tension between Ace and Gene due to issues that we really can not say or know but it certainly looked as Gene was in Ace face and Paul let hem know but ha there there to make money and Ace was helping at that time but have to say his lead was dreadful thankfully Paul came in. I must say Paul is a cool and parrffesional entertainer. Clean and loves his work
