I LOVE your content, binge watched your older videos - I really enjoyed the jazz. It was very refined and classy which I feel like is the aesthetic that attracted me to your channel. I love the character of your home - its not some “open concept” mess that looks like a one-room cardboard schoolhouse. I love your fashion sense, its not over the top and too blingy. Even your recipes are refined - and you find a way to make them kid friendly. I noticed the music lately has been the same stuff that everyone in the “wine mom” genre plays over their videos serving their kids mayo casserole in their cardboard new construction 😭🤷🏽♀️ I say this with love and music is a personal preference, but I swear this is “algorithm music” and I just hope the things I love about your channel don’t turn into “algorithm decor and recipes”. Its so hard to find channels like yours nowadays.

The porch is beautiful I love the apples as much as I love pumpkin, you do need a table for the porch a distressed black wooden box turned upside down would be perfect. Something simple made out of old plywood.

I have decorated already. I decorate for fall and Halloween at the same time. My mantle and beverage cart have the Halloween. Then November first I just have to remove the Halloween decorations, and banners and put up the Thanksgiving banners. I don't have kids though. If I did I'm sure I would decorate for just Halloween then do fall.
Maybe I'm missing it, but I thought you said you would post the apricot tart recipe... anyway, the porch is beautiful!!! I love your rocking chairs! I have always wanted a huge wrap around porch just so i could have 2 rocking chairs.. Mine is just a mostly straight line across 1/2 of my front of my house. We have a bay window that juts out abt 12 inches and takes up some of that space for any possible seating. So I use it to put flowers underneath as well as lanterns. I will most likely be adding some pumpkins and taking the flowers out, but not until October as they are still gorgeous on my porch and its no where near time to move them. But that doesn't mean I will not begin changing out my other decor after September 11th. As its all patriotic right now. It seems impossible that it is already September 😕.
Hi Lauren! Yes, I already decorated....I usually do the porch over Labor Day. I own a business and work a ton of hours, so on the only day I have off and get it done. I have to start in the beginning of August as I have a lot of decor but then I can take my time and enjoy the process rather than rushing it. I'm in Wisconsin and we are already seeing the change in weather....we can still get into the high 70's and maybe low 80's but I am feeling, literally in my bones, that it is going to be an early winter. Hoping I'm wrong cause winters here are long enough!! LOL

I enjoy your videos but I feel like your just taking the exact same decor and furniture then moving it around to different areas of your home. And you took your dining room decor and moved it outside... now what does your dining room table have to on it? Nothing? Disappointing.

I love fall and have started decorating. It has been unusually hot where I live. We start getting cooler temperatures around Labor Day but not this year. Can’t wait to see leaves change and feel the crisp air

Lauren,tommorow Im decorating for fall and I CANT WAIT!! I love going and getting the cabbages for my flower beds and the little tiny mums for my window planter.Then the beginning of next month I put out the hay bails,pumpkins and large mums.

It’s all so beautiful but Im very confused why people are decorating for fall in the summer. I thought fall began September 22.
It makes us happy, it’s just that. It’s not that we are wishing summer away, it’s that we love those fall colors, and by the nearing the end of summer we don’t want to feel sad at the end of something, so we move forward sooner than most.
I think Lauren is being kind and showing us fall decor for inspiration whenever you are ready to decorate. I live where it's still super hot, but I love seeing how folks decorate before I am ready to put mine out.
Very good points. I guess I need that nip in the air to feel like it’s time to decorate but to each his own. My sister listens to Christmas music all year long because it makes her happy.
I hear ya!! I think people need to follow their heart and do the things that bring them joy when they feel like it. It is ok to do what you want or follow the rules! Just do what makes you happy.
