The first logs sawn on my Edmiston sawmill ! I ran a meadows #1handset mill for 25 years, this is all new to me . Thanks for watching & please subscribe to our channel !
Hi. I said "barren walls" on the one 2 years in (about 2020) but... NO WALLS on this first one. I hope I can find more of them in order and watch it being constructed. I don't know why but I am SO addicted to this series. Thanks for doing it.
Mark it certainly does look different without the building(s) the controls look like a good learning point. I would like to see the reassembly of this mill.
hi there watching this old one trying to make you more money . it was neat watching you work the controls . also WOW look at all the changes . just a great job growing john
Taking your suggestion and going back to as close to the beginning as I can find. Got a chuckle watching 'then' as opposed to now. Clean glass in the booth, no walls or roof, an unnamed as yet, Chewy, and I can't figure out where the sawdust is going. Thanks Mark n T.H.E Eddie Horvath.
Back from the future…. A lot changed from you first video and this one. Taking your Veterans Day suggestion and restarting from the beginning. Peace Mark
Being some of your first logs and comparing how relaxed you are in your most recent videos of 20/21, I'd say you were handling the operation of the sawmill pretty smoothly. Only forgot to retract the dogs once before loading a new log. Sure looks different without a building around you. No running commentary but then you were probably too focused in handling the controls.
Bought me an old mill like yours or close to it. Looked at it for the first today. May need help restoring it. Advice i mean. Edminston portable hydraulic
I love your videos, I have watched several of them. I run large excavators for a living that operate similar to what you are doing. My question is can you take the time to explain all the buttons on the joysticks ? What each one does, and how the movement of the joystick applies to its function. I guess I have button envy. LOL THANKS for the great job !
Yall did a jam up job of putting the jigsaw back together and you're doing right well sawing without a laser guide. And thanks for the sub but I just got a google account so I could run my mouth. AS of now I've been a heavy equipment operator and heavy truck driver for 50+ years but am mostly around the home 20 doing yard and maintenance. I'm a Jesus freak so you won't be too shell shocked when I get totally politickally (no typo. poli is Latin for many and we know what tics are) uncorrect and an RVN vet Engineer. I'm also a native NC hillbilly, REALLY! and come from a long line of goofy people on my moms side so you can bail back out now if you're so led. Because it sure gets interesting around this place.
It's late October now how do you like mill ? I am looking at a shut down sawmill of the same brand and wondering how much trouble they are to rehabilitate.

Don't look like the same operation. You have come so far in a short amount of time. Good for you.
Wow! Early days. Wonderful
