- The mill was running a little rough making lumber that wasn't perfect. So we checked the lead and it was way off! After a lot of adjusting we finally got it dialed in.

Thanks for the instruction for setting lead on my mill. Helped a LOT.
Just trying to save someone the same headache we had
hh there nice job john
I had my collar turned down on my mill , they did it on the mill and it runs perfect now.
Once we set the lead right it runs fine now. I need to take the blade off and hammer it but it’s not that bad yet. Will probably do that by the end of the month.
Not saw related. Is that a cur or Feist chopping in the background?
Yes it's a curr X treeing walker, I squirrell hunt with dogs a lot and keep a good dog or two around
I'm fighting lead issues on my meadows 48" mill.
make sure your collar is right. That will cause all kinds of problems
@TheOutdoorRight yes, it's clean and beveled 0.002". Releveled track, set 1/32 lead, swapped saws, new shanks and bits. Im pulling my hair out lol
@@sosebee12nadc13 well when you do finally figure it out, it will probably be something so simple you wonder how it can be so complicated. I spent almost 2 hours digging a piece if bark from the pulleys that drive my live deck the other day. You might try to email. Marc galicic he has an edmiston too he might be able to help or call the guys at edmiston they usually help if they can.
