Even in forum people already mention to make this plane as event because it will be really DOA when come into the game with current meta.

Belgium is a good fit for France (tho they have a lot that can be added) but Netherlands should just be added to Germany, we work together with them the most, our mechanized forces are integrated into the Bundeswehr, our cultures are very similar (same with language) and 98% of our fucking vehicles are of German origin. (and I mean, in our national anthem it's said that our royals are of German blood lol)

And now, you get an F-4E at 12.7 without HMD (which even the much lower F-4J gets mind you), the worse version of the AIM-9M and low countermeasures to boot, at a BR higher than the F-15A.
Could the ICE even carry AIM-7's in the first place, though?

HMS was pretty much unique to navy phantoms. US navy were the only users of that piece of tech, and then they forgot about ever fielding something like that for 30 years.
@@miquelescribanoivars5049 Does it matter? Germany not having a NATO air superiority fighter for such a long time has been a massive problem for quite some time, so making concessions like only giving sparrows to the F-15A was not too much if you ask me.

Totally agree with that stock grind rant at the end.
Im fairly new to the game and honestly thats one of my biggest frustrations with picking up new planes, especially in top tier. Its less of an issue on lower tiers where you pretty much get all the weaponry you need from the start and it also doesnt take so long to unlock things.
But in jets its almost mandatory that you have a g-suit and missiles in order to be competitive.
I think that if they truly cared about the player-experience they should give them an option to not go through the stock grind that doesnt involve spending 60 dollars or however much it is.
For example they could make it so you can buy all modules/upgrades with Convertable XP x5 of what all modules cost + like 1 million SL or something along those lines. (values are just examples and could be lowered/increased)
So if your planes upgrades cost 400k total you´ll have to spend like 2 million Convertable XP + 1 Million SL.
That would make it so free to play players, or players that dont spend hundreds or thousands of euros on the game also get some use out of the Convertable XP and make their game experience at least a bit less frustrating.
Idk if this is an idea that has been thrown around before or if its something that gaijin has already ruled out, but i still felt like sharing.
Would be interesting to hear the yours and the communitys thoughts on this.

yea the stock grind is rough asf rn, i just got the grippen a which doesnt get any radar missles it genuinely unplayable to keep getting uptiered to 13.0 being forced to hug the deck with such good flight performance and not being able to use any of it befor i either get amraam'd, the enemy team is already dead to my teams amraams or they just easily flare of the stock 2 9'ls i get. i would honestly just maybe make it to when u apply fox-3 missles ur br goes up so the stock grinders or ir, shar missle enjoyers dont have to deal with the constant fox-3 spam.

The whole stock grind this is very true. It took me 6 hours to unlock 9Ls, 7Ms, gsuit, and counter measures yesterday on the F15J(M). 5 of those 6 were before I unlocked 7Ms and Gsuit. I was essentially hiding behind my team waiting for someone to overcommit and then 3rd party, but even still i had countless rounds where im 0-1 because you get snowballed too quick and swatted out the sky

Every Fox 3 jet is at 12.7-13.0, and the only ones at 12.7 are the ones with not so good flight performance (AV-8B, Tornado F-3, Sea Harrier, etc)
@@RT42069and the irccm carriers are 12.0-12.7 lol. Fox 3 carrriers should be in an entirely seperate tier, not just 0.3 br higher at best. The best airframes with Fox-3s should be 13.7, if not even higher so they don’t even fight non-irccm capable missiles.
Gaijin somehow managed to compress top tier even more, with jets that don’t even have irccm like the F-16A fighting all the fox-3 carriers.

You know of all the matches I had yesterday I only saw two people flying the F4f ice, and both of those people they didn't last long which was pretty much to be expected anyway, and I said it before and I'll say it again this should have been added when the f4EJ Kai was added, and personally I think in this update we should have gotten the r77 for the MIG 29g at least that would have been a better option in this thing but yeah I guess gaijin just has a secret hatred for Germany

Germany didn't operated R-77. The MiG-29G it's just the basic MiG-29 9-12A with avionics modified to NATO compatibility

The new top tier should come from stock with at least 2 Fox-3, it is a pain to try to get close to enemies in this meta

I’m 40k away from the F-15J(M), and I’m dreading what will happen once I get it. When I was grinding the MICAs on the Mirage earlier it was bad because I was fighting people with Fox-3s without them, so I can only assume how horrid it will be to fight Fox-3 slinging jets with a jet that has no radar missiles, no chaff, and only 2 9Ms for at least 5 games.
I’m starting to think I should just GE the thing, but at the same time, that would be a waste.
Just going to point out that the game DOES have two very convenient solutions to the stock grind problem: assault arcade and sim. They're pretty quick, easy, low-pressure ways to run through a unlock the mods you need, get some 300% boosters and learn a bit about the plane. Importantly it's much more FUN than trying to stock grind in ARB.
SIM is easy? On jets you will just get owned by tryhards grinding easy money lol
@@mikemandalorian9226 Yeah, but rewards are so high you can play a single match, be completely useless, die a lot, make easy money and unlock mods. You can either die once in ARB for 2-3k RP or you can earn 4-5k RP per death in sim...
It's unbeliavable how many people disregard the stock grind. Unless they are just burning GE to spade vehicles, and that is something that would make gaijin happy. At least before the patch you could get close safely to try and dogfight, but now, I was playing the gripen to unlock de Darter with only Aim-9Ms and it was so freaking boring. I was just notching and going cold for the first half of the match until I was able to get close enough to do anything. A ton of people said it was a skill issue when people complained about the multipathing change and the shift in meta, but BVR is not hard, it's boring af 🙃.

I've just stock grinded this from stock to AMRAAMS, basically 1/50 (k/d). The stock missles are unusable with everyone having 100+ flares and half a brain cell. This thing either should drop to 12.3-12.0 with its AIM-120 amount reduced to 2 or get them stock and an option to grind for better missles.
Drop BR? nonono, this is hugely a compression issue. All the other Fox-3 carriers need to move up and put the lower techs out of the way.
Use the IR HMD in MiG-29s and Su-27s, you can get a lock with the IR HMD above 10km and then switch to radar basically giving you a secret ~20km HMD
im a germany main, literally every nation got a 13.0 plane except germany, most got two planes with Fox3 compatibility and planes with 6+ Fox 3s. Feels the only reason germany got this plane was coz they HAD to give Fox3 to every tech tree. Playing germany feels like being harry potter in the Dudley family, live under the stairs and get the crumbs from Fat Papa Gaijin. Literally every even remotely powerful air/ground vehicle germany has either had its balls cut off (FlakRakRad, PUMA), or is just ded on arrival, like feeding scraps to orphans. I stopped playing after this update as i got the Mig29 for Germany after a huge grind 2 days ago. I know that both migs that Germany has are sub par, have no ARH and only carry 6 missiles. Im not even gonna try to play this dogshit game until gaijin gives some respect and love that germany players deserve. Hoping for a Eurofighter to finally screw the Su27 and F16s that gaijin loves so much.

The f4f is as you said not good, only 90CMs is not enough, not powerful enough engines = not super fast, but at least you get 4 fox 3 + a very good radar
Also in GRB this thing is 11.7, so the perfect br to combine with leos, without facing 13.0 aircrafts
Personally, I have been a big fan of this patch. Hear me out...
I have been stock grinding the new American Harrier, so not only is it matched at 13.0, and I have nothing but 9Ls, I’m also only subsonic and with no 120s (yet).
However, I have actually really been enjoying this gameplay in a strange way. It’s super fun to me to sit in the notch, bait in an enemy into close range, and one turn them before they know what happened. The gun in the harrier has really good range and damage and it feels so rewarding to dunk on a fully loaded F-15C in my little go cart equivalent of an airplane.
Obviously, this doesn’t happen every game, but I have been having fun. Just my opinion.

I mean he’s got a good point. The tornado might be quicker but it’s even WORSE in a dogfight than a phantom. It’s a fatter more modern F-104 in terms of gameplay. The phantom can at least pull a little bit and its missiles and radar are going to be quality for sure. Perhaps it’s not the WORST thing at top tier but it’s probably tied for worst

I know this has been said before, but I would love a video on the proper use of FOX-3’s (and to a lesser extent SARHs), and how to use them while flying defensively. I’m not the best air player (I’m downright terrible), but it would be nice to watch whenever you get whatever data you need.

Air rb cannot survive these 3 minute battles. Not only would air rb EC returning be huge for rb players trying to grind and enjoy the game but it would also be incredibly helpful for sb players who are always put o bb the back burner by gaijin.
We need new large scale game modes in War Thunder and you have a voice that can inspire others to call for it to return. Use it!
This patch has the potential to completely alienate the casual player base. As someone with a full time job grinding was already time consuming and now it's even worse. I don't think I can continue to play that game in it's current state. I can't justify spending near or over a hundred dollars worth of GE to unlock these planes and I just don't have the time to grind do to work. It's insane that now in ten games I can only get one kill when I used to average two a game. After I finally grinded R-77's and the MiG 29 the game sort of became "playable" but getting their was so unfun and that was just one modification. if Gaijn doesn't make some hotfixes and adjustments. I'm gonna actually stop playing it's no longer fun and my time and money are better spent else where

Fox 3s we’re a mistake. They need to figure out a way to fix this shit. While I think smaller teams would make it a bit better the gameplay overall kinda sucks

I do think it's nice that France gets some more rank IV, V, VI, and VII planes, but I do agree that they don't really need an F-16. Their rank V and VI really did suffer IMO though, most of the planes were so non-meta, and generally overtired (Minus the etendard and the Mystere IIC)

A Eurofighter is basically a jet with the Gripen's flight performance and a Flanker's missile count.
it can do way more than firing missiles.....the main problem to bring the next generation planes are the things they can do with radar, data link and bord computer and so on

Personally I’m really enjoying BVR gameplay meta. Especially on EC maps with smaller teams usually everyone is out of missiles and it turns into a knife fight at close quarters.
