    Welcome back to Contemporary Mama! For the entire month of August my husband and I are completing the Whole30 eating program! If you aren't familiar that means no dairy, grains, pasta, beans, legumes, sugar, or processed foods! It takes a lot of work to eat only whole unprocessed foods so I am sharing a simple meal prep to set us up for success on our first week of whole30.     Those first 2 meals looked BOMB AF! I have watched multiple whole 30 meal prep and your recipes look the most appetizing!

    Starting my whole 30 tomorrow. I did this in 2019 and it was great. I will cut out night shades this time - so no paprika, tomatoes, chili powder etc. Because while I want to lose weight too - health and well-being is my main focus. My two girls (14 and 24) will join 👭

      It was really good but I think I'll do another one next month. We most def eat much better but it seems junk always finds it way to us.... :/

    Great idea to pre make your breakfast potatoes! I like to reheat mine in my Ninja air fryer so they can get extra crispy! And yes, I like red potatoes as well!
    We are in the middle of our third round of Whole30. After our first one we did the slow-roll reintroduction and we're so thankful. It took time, but we were able to pinpoint foods that were bothering us and gain true food freedom. This go around our daughters are doing it with us. We are trying to figure out what is giving her GI issues.

    Great, professional video! Thanks! For the hash-brown potatoes, you mention in your side-link video about dipping them in some lactose-free sour cream. i’m sure you probably know by now that lactose-free products still contain casein, which can have ill effects on people and which is why you can’t use lactose-free products with the whole30 diet. Just thought I would mention it in case no one brought it up yet.love your videos!! New subscriber!

    Never heard of this b4 but definitely looks good! I’m hoping I can get back into Keto by next month the latest 😬🤞🏻!! Good luck! Meal prep definitely always helps me stick to whatever plan I’m following at the time too

    Cool, I loved whole 30, I lost 20 pounds doing it twice and losing 10 pounds on each time.

    Yum! These all looked really good! How was the ranch? I tried to make a vegan ranch and it tasted very lemony

    I'm trying the Whole30 this till the End of October. I tried it last year but failed after 15 days.
    I'm from germany so...no Whole30 compliant shortcuts (sauces, sausages etc)which makes it lot harder, I think.
    Decided to give it my best shot and do the best that I can nonetheless, even if it's not 100% Whole30 (but then again, there is a vegan version which is also not compliant, but allowed). :D

    Tho I don’t plan on doing the whole 30 month long diet I do like to try new healthier versions of recipes I enjoy so will be trying some of these. Love the chicken sausage idea for breakfast! The egg salad looks soooo good I’m going to try that for lunch and even cook them in the instant pot we have! How do you feel now you’re half way through the plan? Have you and Dan felt that burst of energy yet? Wishing you much success in the second half- you’re one self disciplined Contemporary Mama! Thanks for sharing!
