- Here we go, these took 10 days to arrive, and cost £45 plus £9 import duty - and they are way better than the 2021 versions.
Basically the sole is now clear, which is a great improvement.
Otherwise they are actually the exact same as the prior versions.
A great base shoe, prime for upgrading….or just wear as they are and enjoy!

do only the official nike ones have that silvery gloss type fabric with fine grooves? know what i mean? and was that the same in the movie? ..it's so hard to tell ..even upclose when marty puts them on ...and whats with the lace stripes running on the sides of the shoes? was it in the movie? if so..weird that some dont have that..the official nike's dont...just weird

The AliExpress ones have the shiney grey/smooth vinyl fabric at the top, probsbly so they can get around copy right issues.
The Universal Studio and the more expensive V3.1/4 s have the proper shiney grey cotton fabric . These are fairly realistic to the movie, but the 3.1/4s have much much better lighting than the Universals, and are also taller/more movie accurate.
The AliExpress are excellent and basically a cheap way and which into Mag ownership, as the Universals are pretty rare and the 3.1/4s are expensive.
I'm curious to see your process to replace the bubble AND add the MAG on the back of the heel cups

Hey, I will do indeed. I’m taking a video as I do this pair.
If you look at my prior videos you will see how I do the lettering and bubble .
The bubble is exceptionally easy, 15mins per shoe I estimate . Just don’t overheat the glue or the shoe fabric might burn/melt.
@@griceyboy do you have the link for this video ? I found one where it looks like you cut the letters from the V3 cups and reglue them onto the AliXpress Shoes ?
@@neoced9293 hey, yeah that’s what I do.
So the video you found would be it. I’m doing the same this week on Justin’s pair.
It’s the only way at this stage, I can get the bubble and the correct lettering that’s rubber and curved to fit .
So it just made sense to use the lettering from the heal cup, as you can’t buy the bubbles separately , so for £34 I decided to cut each letter off, file it down, then glue it to the AliExpress shoe.
It does work well, looks good , obviously fan made, but looks good.
If you see my latest video on Justin’s shoes. I mention about half way about how I get the bubbles to fit (dremmel grinder ).
@@griceyboy wow, I find it a shame to destroy a V3 heel cup even if you recover and use the bubble. The lettering is doable with EVA foam sheets, I will put an example on the Facebook group
