Looks great! I like the single belt look along with having electric fans. It brings newer tech to an older car giving you some reliability. Nothing wrong with what you did, it’s your car, your vision! I personally love what you did and can’t wait to hear that engine fire up!
Back in the '60s I was 18 in 1969 and I had this Charger with a 383 in it. I lived outside of Cleveland and our area to roam was from there over to Toledo in the middle and up as high as Detroit. Being so close to Detroit and all the suppliers everybody my age was driving a Fastback Mustang or a Super Bee or a Roadrunner. We used to race down country roads and those cars flat out hauled ass. We'd crank the music up and usually have a six pack nearby. There was a 428 ci 1968 Plymouth Satellite GTX in town with a supercharger and nothing else could touch it. Ah, those were the days. Women loved those cars and always wanted to go for a ride. Keep up the good work in bringing these muscle cars back on the road.
Dylan, it doesn't matter what other people think about what you are doing with the Charger! Any and everything has it's detractors. As long as you are happy with what you're doing, so be it. It's mind over matter bud, you don't mind, and they don't matter...
If I remember correctly, that belt pattern is designed so that it doesn't squeak, even if a bearing is slightly misaligned. I put one of those belts on my car a while back and haven't hear it squeal since.I can't wait to see your Charger finished. Good luck!
Well when whoever out there decides to get there own Charger they can put what ever belt drive system they want. As for YOU, YOUR HARD WORK AND YOUR CARS, IN MY OPINION, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! 💪👍🤜🤛
I'm all for original....but I like this set up, awesome! 👍🏻 '69 was a good year....for cars aaaand me being born! 😉😄😂 Somehow, I've always liked the '68 better with the front and no split....evil on wheels when black! 😎 Looking forward to see the next update! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
I'm usually one to keep things original but from an ease of maintenance standpoint serpentine is most certainly the way to go. If I ever do a complete rebuild that's what i'm going to do.
Those power steering pump pulleys are press on and they are not supposed to come off but they will occasionally walk off. I'd put a bolt in it for good measure. Food for thought.
Mite want to check a,c compressor for oil don't run it dry ,just check on that .and the rotation of your water pump ,might want to look into that as well ,hope you read this ,before you start her up ,good luck nice build .
And on top of that u have to go to car shows or or junk yards place to look around a.find part if they are in good condition. For sitting for so long u be lucky to see these anymore
Are you Going to upgrade the rest of the electrical system? On my 69 charger and others, the week point is that bulkhead connection. Too much amps going through and it will melt wires. Love the setup btw
looks great man! i asked in the live stream how much gas you go through on 1 tank, i meant to say How many miles do you get out of 1 tank, tell me for each classic you have.
Fine quality video, Dylan - w/excellent help from your "production assistant". What breed is Repo, btw? This Charger is going to be reliable because you are putting in the effort to make it reliable. As for anyone that doesn't like serpentine belts (I didn't when they 1st came out) well - maybe they'll be happy that you'll be running a #carburetor on the 440 once the cam is broke in. The kit does look well thought out, and it does look good installed. I bet you'll be posting a "break-in video" before Thanksgiving. Two thumbs up!
Shouldn’t there be a nut permanently installed in the shaft of the power steering pump to retain the pully, as pulleys would tend to work their way back off the shaft due to the rotating tension as the pully is rotated and the shaft resists rotation as the load on the pump occurs as you turn steering wheel and load the power steering slave steering box. I’m fairly sure that there should be a bolt installed with a lock washer! Notice that other power accessory on that serpentine belt has a bolt in its center shaft, except for that power steering pump!
I dont think you need to buy spare belts, one maybe, because that belt won't need changing for at least 10 years. I just got rid of a Mercedes Diesel that had a 20 year old belt that wasn't even cracked. If you throw a belt, a pulley or bearing has gone.

The serpentine upgrade is so much more efficient than the old style belt set up. And it looks cleaner too. : )
It's a touch of Modern!
Making old, New again! I like it!
That corporate blue is beautiful!
I like the setup. Simplicity when it comes to repairs is the best idea. Loving this charger project!!

Come on rock auto! Support Dylan!!!!!!!
I'm glad the end of the video bumper music is back! Love the Charger and serpentine belt kit!
Awesome setup! I've never seen that serpentine belt conversion before. oh I definitely love your dog translation ability!! haha

Been watching this charger build from the beginning can’t wait to hear it and see it run
I'm all for original....but I like this set up, awesome! 👍🏻

Lets hope it roars like a demon like when it was new
Nice setup; and Repo rocks!
I really like this set up. I’m very interested in doing this to my Fury. Looks clean and modern.
I'm usually one to keep things original but from an ease of maintenance standpoint serpentine is most certainly the way to go. If I ever do a complete rebuild that's what i'm going to do.
Super clean. I dig it
All rhe dog 's thinking is ''m not getting any attention!!
i love what you've done with the charger shouldn't matter to other people.
Your new camera gives us some nice video, thanks. Serpentine upgrade setup is a great low cost upgrade set-up idea.
Looks like a nice setup. I remember my Charger would squeal at certain RPMs and that would drive me crazy until I replaced the belt.
That is a nice setup. Love the location of everything.
Man, it looks really clean.
Glad your back
Very good dylan video you have in mind in restoring the charger completely
Those power steering pump pulleys are press on and they are not supposed to come off but they will occasionally walk off. I'd put a bolt in it for good measure. Food for thought.
I have to be the one to say it. The green of the car does clash with the turquoise.
Man do a build of 1969 Ford mustang mach 1 build 🤙❤🔥
Hey Dylan good video I enjoyed it and repo is a good dog there it seems like it
Great setup Dylan, I would put spring washers on all of the bolts to prevent them from coming loose. cheers great car.
Mite want to check a,c compressor for oil don't run it dry ,just check on that .and the rotation of your water pump ,might want to look into that as well ,hope you read this ,before you start her up ,good luck nice build .
This modern tuch does not look so bad, that look's awesome can't wait to see that bad Mopar big block screaming !
Looking good! I'm kinda a purist too but I think if improvements can be made, try it!
BTW...I still love Repo, he's a very good dog!
Looks good to me with the belt set up. The PS pump sure sits at a tilt though.
I like the set up so far. Nice work, Dylan.
Hell yeah I’ve been waiting for another charger video
reverse rotation on the water pump? special pump or impeller?
I was about to say that too.
Cus u gotta think bro. 65%of the 60s parts for a Dodge charger don't even exist anymore so u have to add atfermarket stuff to make it fit n work Right
And on top of that u have to go to car shows or or junk yards place to look around a.find part if they are in good condition. For sitting for so long u be lucky to see these anymore
That intro alone 😂 already subscribed
Repo is a sweet pup :)
Great Video and sweet set up ..

Love the dodge charger videos man!!! Keep them coming!! 🤘🤘
That setup looks good on that engine.
Very nice, nice clean set up. Thank you for sharing
Love the serpentine belt setup
Hey Dylan you should bring that charger to a car meet or a drag strip.
Are you Going to upgrade the rest of the electrical system? On my 69 charger and others, the week point is that bulkhead connection. Too much amps going through and it will melt wires. Love the setup btw
Absolutely, when the time comes I'll rewire the entire car.
Did you have to move the compressor once you hooked up the a/c hoses?
Please start it up...i wanna hear the engine sound😬
me to
Very clean!👍🏻
You should film the installing process you know. Do a time lapse or something. Anyway, nice video.
What a beautiful motor.
Thanks for the Charger Video love it keep it goin !!
When is she going to be complete/ready to go?
You were spot on with the paint color for the motor looks awesome

I've wanted to go with a serpentine setup on my 68 Charger for some time now...just haven't found the money yet.
Looks super good nice set up
Good job Dylan and I have a car want you to put on the end
Es grandioso como repara los autos te gustan los mopar? Chrysler y dodge son los mejores autos del mundo
looks great man! i asked in the live stream how much gas you go through on 1 tank, i meant to say How many miles do you get out of 1 tank, tell me for each classic you have.
Your building the car for you.Not RUclips. So put it together anyway you like. It's going to a nice ride.👌👌
I love charger vids
how does he get away with the intro music?
Thing is beautiful brother

i would paint the alternator pulley black matching the rest
Looks good
What was the name of that company that did your serpentine set up?
Hey Dylan, you should do some videos of peoples vehicles, kinda like Scotty kilmer’s show off sunday
Nice job, I like it.
Love it!
Shouldn't there be a bolt holding the power steering pulley from walking off?
Art
Noice one Norris
👍👍 for Repo!
Sweet!
Repo is cool to
The question is will there ever be paint
wow you make vids so often
so, do yo ulike that belt set up?
I agree, the modern belt system is superior ,,
Shouldn’t there be a nut permanently installed in the shaft of the power steering pump to retain the pully, as pulleys would tend to work their way back off the shaft due to the rotating tension as the pully is rotated and the shaft resists rotation as the load on the pump occurs as you turn steering wheel and load the power steering slave steering box.

Notice that other power accessory on that serpentine belt has a bolt in its center shaft, except for that power steering pump!
The tensioner does not have much room for stretching it is a new belt.
Cost please!
Do you still have the black charger, if so I am interested.
@Urban Explorer Indiana ok thanks I was wondering
brian bessette how much did it go for?
Hey Dylan, I wanted to ask right quick, what engine do you have in your blue Swinger Dart? Is it a 318? Or some other small block? Thanks in advance!
It's a 360 if you go to his main you tube page there are videos specificly about that car...it's awesome slso!!
that's what i need for my 440!
I dont think you need to buy spare belts, one maybe, because that belt won't need changing for at least 10 years. I just got rid of a Mercedes Diesel that had a 20 year old belt that wasn't even cracked. If you throw a belt, a pulley or bearing has gone.
Anybody ever said you look like Peter Parker? 😂
Good
Not much of a dodge guy more Chevy but who don’t like a 69 charger ole dukes of hazard got me to liking that car when I was little
