Brother Dylan is a great watch on you tube, and offers such optimism, never is discouraged and always has a sparkle in his eye for the future of his cars and I sense in life too. Kudos to you Dylan, and may you be blessed, everyday!!!
Lazy Dan right?! When I got hit by a car with my bike, I was more upset about the possibility of going to the hospital than I was about my bike, his car, or even my own body. I would literally rather die, so that gas tank is fine by me.
old chargers are my favorite car in the world, that might look like a beater to some people but to me its a thing of beauty. i guess one day you should paint it to protect the metal but that ancient patina it has is extremely cool
Hoooooleeeee Jesus!!! That thing sounds AMAZING!!! As I watched, I wanted so bad to hear you romp the throttle, and just watch the rear end break loose and tire smoke fill the air!!!
Absolutely love seeing the old girl cruise up and down the road again, and the sound out of the open headers is absolutely incredible man. Keep up the great work!
Very innovated filming through the tail light housing cutout! Great video, that Charger is bad ASS!!! No hood No trunk lid No tail lights Gas tank strapped to the grille Jacked up Low hanging tail pipe Loud exhaust Nice new tires on cop rims
A lot of people would not touch that charger you brought, the state it was in. But you are going to give that beautiful work of art a new life. Respect :D
You should see the cars I restored, one 69 was rusted.smashed used as a parts car and now its a show car, stock appearing with a stroked out 78 440 to 512 c.i ! I own a 68 Charger RT that was never a wreck,I put over 300,000 miles on it now it runs a 76 440 stroked to 535 ! Stock appearing oem style is waht I go for and engines well even non strokers I upgrade the cam and heads and even a stock 440 from 71 older will make 550 hp easily with a cam and a good head job with a intake /carb and headers ! My 68 runs low 10's in the 1/4 with 3.23's and drag radials that dont hook up ! The 69 runs low to mid 11's and all my engines run on pump gas 91 - 93 octane ! I slowed down on restorations these days and focus on easy stuff like selling modern turds at my dealer lol..But still rsotre 1 -2 cars per year..I can do a twisted, rusted, dented car in 1 year and not full time either ! Not hard especially today with al the aftermarket parts, true they need tweaking but quicker than hunting down rust free straight parts !
I've been waiting for this day since you posted the first "Ratty" charger video, I feel like I know this car better than I know my own car. Thanks for the wonderful journey and greetings from your biggest fan in Belgium (Wish I could get your tshirts)
I'm a Ford man at heart, but I've always liked the old chargers and cudas, keep up the good work, restoring classics and antiques are becoming a dying pastime.....
Sounds great Dylan. Glad you were finally able to take it down the road Buddy. I know you have been lookin forward to this day for a long time. Good Job!
Hi dylan my son and i have been watching your channel and scribed a few weeks ago my son is 2 but loves cars we have spent hours watching your videos i think i have a gear head on my hands but it has also renewed my interest in fixing up old cars again thank you
I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed your videos of you bringing this back to life! I'm very excited to see the final product. Keep up the good work!
I really love this charger. I like your choice of wheels and tires. I even like the gold brake! The stance of the vehicle is great, old school, like the boys used to do it in the 70’s! I’m 60 so I really love it!
How cool it is to see the Charger on the road again! What a long way this car has come since you first bought it! Sounds just like the General Lee when you get on the accelerator! It sounds great, runs strong & finally has working brakes! What a great choice for this year's power tour! Again, I look forward to seeing this car completed.
Out on the double yellow, with the Charger coming over the crest of the hill, I had "The Dukes of Hazzard" theme running in my head, and fully expected to see Roscoe chasing you. Great video and AWESOME mechanical music.
Man if hearing that thing run and taking it for a little mini cruise doesn’t get you hyped about getting her done and completed .... that thing is gnarly !!! I dig them cooper cobras on it too bro has a nice rake to it. You’re doing great brother, happy you shared the progress with us thanks 🙏
Hey Dylan ,,,watched this one 4 times now lol,, absolutely love the stance and wheel and tire combination!,,,love what you did with the brakes as well,,,that looks great,,,,
In the end you mentioned doing the exhaust I was like yes please thanks God finally. I just cant listen to that grumpy noise anymore, nice work keep it up!!
Did u set up the front suspension a lil bit low, it has a Bee-u-t-full rake lean to it... just like we used to do back in the day, usually with air shocks... gr8 look...
Wow, really enjoying your Charger series. I rebuilt one in the 80's. Nice to see there still available to enjoy for the average guy. Sounds great and has great foundation to work with.
Car sounds wicked. I loved the charger after watching Dukes if hazzard as a kid. In the UK there were never anything like this on the road. For me one of the true great American cars ☺
Loving this and loving the updates. One of my dream cars, Great to see you bringing it back from the dead! I think you're doing it right, Think of this as a shake down, Then later you can tidy it up and have a better idea what you want to change/replace first. So cool man.
People might hate me for this but I think it looks better that way! They should have made em like that in the factory! What a badass car with the jug out front and the rust, it looks beautiful to me! Absolutely gorgeous ❤️
I love the white letter tires and steel wheels, they fill in the wheel openings well too! What are the dimensions of your garage? I have been asking around for ideas before I start mine this summer. Keep up the great work and awesome content!
The stance and condition of this car right now gives off that supreme rugged condition as if it belongs in a Blues Brothers movie. Should where those sunglasses and play the Peter Gun theme for the next video intro! :P
This reminds me of 1983. I had a similar condition Charger R/T (440 auto) that I bought for $500 with a 2 gallon gas can in the grill. I had clear fuel line (from my fish tank) so I could see the gas flow through when I 'punched-it' ... then the radiator fell into the fan and sprayed hot coolant all over us. The ride was short, but so much fun !!!! .... 'eh, I was on a paper route budget...
Awesome car sir! Reminds me of when I built my '67 LeMans 20-some years ago except you are doing more yourself than I did. Thank you for including the Scripture!
it's awesome how you bring these children of Mother Mopar back to life. i don't know where you find your parts because i've been looking for a condenser for months for my 77 Power Wagon. Texas and summer is not too good without A/C.
I’m not crazy over mopar always been a Chevy guy but that’s one dodge I would buy is 68 or 69 charger. That’s prolly mostly because of dukes of hazard but it’s what ever lol 😂
Great old school stance and sound. Nice wheel/tire choice. Gold brakes not good or bad. Might invite curiosity from those who notice. Keep up the good work!
440 likes on this comment and I'll "break in" the rear tires.
Lookin good! 😀
Well guess I’ll have to like it then
Do it... But only after break in after the motor.
Don't pretend you won't be breaking in the tires even if the comment doesn't get the likes. But just in case I liked it

69 Chargers should never EVER be forgotten or neglected. Great work getting this one back on the road.
I bought a 1969 Charger At The Dollar General store today! For $ 1.00! 2.49 pm 4/4/19
@@tonyfriend7413 doubt.
@@Robert-goose1 matchbox does sell them
I can not tell you how much I enjoy seeing this old Charger coming back to life. 1969 was a great year for real cars.
I own a 69 nova and it's basically just a go kart
1969 is my favourite year for any type of muscle car. 69 charger, 69 Camaro, 69 mustang boss, 69 nova, etc etc
All cars in that particular year are beautys, Because 69, you know what i mean...
Santiago Vento yup. Everyone loves a good 69
69 yeah, but just 1 car from earlier: 1960 Impala Sport Coupé.
Love the black steel rims and white lettered tires. Fantastic look.
Oh god I'm feeling the crunch now
😂
You should check email sometime. 😆
Gastank in a position that says "Im not going to a hospital if i crash and im taking you all with me!". Got to love that :D
Lazy Dan right?! When I got hit by a car with my bike, I was more upset about the possibility of going to the hospital than I was about my bike, his car, or even my own body. I would literally rather die, so that gas tank is fine by me.

It's been a year and I still have chills watching the footage of the first drive.
Absolutely love seeing the old girl cruise up and down the road again, and the sound out of the open headers is absolutely incredible man. Keep up the great work!
Very innovated filming through the tail light housing cutout! Great video, that Charger is bad ASS!!!
No hood
No trunk lid
No tail lights
Gas tank strapped to the grille
Jacked up
Low hanging tail pipe
Loud exhaust
Nice new tires on cop rims

69 Dodge Charger has always been my dream car
Been awesome watching it come alive
Seeing that charger come back to life makes me shed tears of absolute joy !. ...you are so kick ass dude.
Love to see old Chargers coming back to life. Great job Dylan!
THE MOPAR GURU DOES IT AGAIN!😍 HOT DAMN! GIVING ME GOOSEBUMPS WATCHING IT DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD! POWERTOUR IS GONNA BE SIIIIIIIICCCCCKKKKKKKK!!!!!
I love the stance , look and the sound is so Mc.Cool . It definitely has a 70’s look and feel to it . Cheers
I'd say it has more of a 69 look
That motor sound good

Nobody can afford them because all the boomers have bought them.
man. that idle at 8:53
Same. i'll probably just stick with model cars. They Are not That functional as them but they look cool as them! :D
It just looks so mean, a dragster for the streets, can't wait for it to get finished. Keep filming great videos like this one, this car is a beast!
Come pick me up..we going to Church in that sucker !
Can i get a *ᴀᴍᴇɴ!*
Amen
Amen brother!!!

They will think it is possessed xD
ᴀᴍᴇɴ!

Awesome job Dylan. Love the anti choke screwdriver fix and the anti freeze gas tank :) Sounds So Good!

That thing is sick. I love how you are combining old car with new drivetrain. Makes me not want to paint my warlock. Lol. Great job
The stance on your car is perfect. Love the tall tire in the back.
What about brake lights and headlights wont you need those for the power tour?
Man if hearing that thing run and taking it for a little mini cruise doesn’t get you hyped about getting her done and completed .... that thing is gnarly !!! I dig them cooper cobras on it too bro has a nice rake to it. You’re doing great brother, happy you shared the progress with us thanks 🙏
So pumped for you man! Thing sounds monstrous!
Hey Dylan ,,,watched this one 4 times now lol,, absolutely love the stance and wheel and tire combination!,,,love what you did with the brakes as well,,,that looks great,,,,
Greetings from Brazil great video! ❤
This car's been siting here for 35 years, what's wrong with it.
"It ain't got no gas in it."
That thing looks so menacing going down the road 👌🏼 awesome work always nice to see them back on the road again
In the end you mentioned doing the exhaust I was like yes please thanks God finally. I just cant listen to that grumpy noise anymore, nice work keep it up!!
8:46 🤤👌🇺🇸 thank you for making this beast run again. Such a beautiful sound.. V8 V8 V8!
Did u set up the front suspension a lil bit low, it has a Bee-u-t-full rake lean to it... just like we used to do back in the day, usually with air shocks... gr8 look...
Yes the front suspension is way out of whack from the rebuild. I need to raise the front and get an alignment, but I couldn't wait to go for a drive.
@@DylanMcCoolVideo , don't get me wrong. It looks good...
That car has a sweet looking rake! Definitely a street machine look. Sounds mean to! That grind of cam and exhaust is killer.
Gas can strapped to the front, I did that when I got my Cordoba running back in the day but it blew off at 75mph lol,,, keep up the good work !!
Lmao I saw this notification popped up and immediately went for it, I didn’t expect to be this early
Man that 69 Charger Sounds badass.
Mr Mcool
That's a great project car, love to see the old cars being put back on the road, even though it's a dodge, we GM fans are with you
Was looking forward to seeing a full restoration. Can't say I'm not disappointed but I'll still watch
Car is looking good. I love those wheels and tires. If you make it out to power tour next year, I hope to see you there.
That’s one sexy charger!!!!!
I have those exact same tires on my truck and I love them!
Wow, really enjoying your Charger series. I rebuilt one in the 80's. Nice to see there still available to enjoy for the average guy. Sounds great and has great foundation to work with.
Man, I've binged watched all of the 1969 Charger vids, now I'm jonesing for the next one!! Very cool Dylan!
That is one awesome car! Btw...the gold calipers and drums are a nice touch.
Car sounds wicked. I loved the charger after watching Dukes if hazzard as a kid. In the UK there were never anything like this on the road. For me one of the true great American cars ☺
A great way to relax after a hard week! Watch the master bring back to life a great old car!
I love it! Sounds awesome. Looks like Road Warrior come to life!
Loving this and loving the updates. One of my dream cars, Great to see you bringing it back from the dead! I think you're doing it right, Think of this as a shake down, Then later you can tidy it up and have a better idea what you want to change/replace first. So cool man.
Sounds so good! I just bought one of your charger t shirts, cant wait to get it! Cool vids man!!
Most dont like that shade of green but i love it. I hope you continue bringing it back and get it repainted.
There's something quite romantic about watching an old beat up car roll down the road once again
Life in the old dog yet!
People might hate me for this but I think it looks better that way! They should have made em like that in the factory! What a badass car with the jug out front and the rust, it looks beautiful to me! Absolutely gorgeous ❤️
I thought I was the only one that had a car with that ultra rare trunk seat option! You remind me of me 20 years ago!
Pre-bent lines are the way to go. When I replaced my brake lines on my D150 I got my Stainless steel lines from Inline tube.
SHE’S ALIVE! Great to see another charger on the road again.
That's an amazing car. Don't ever let it go.
That thing is sick D!!!! She looks so good with those big tires on the back and sounds awesome 😎
I love the white letter tires and steel wheels, they fill in the wheel openings well too! What are the dimensions of your garage? I have been asking around for ideas before I start mine this summer. Keep up the great work and awesome content!
That charger is sweeeeeet..... love the stance, the black wheels just complete it...
Im so happy its this time ,ive been following this Charger since day 1 im really happy for you God bless.
The stance and condition of this car right now gives off that supreme rugged condition as if it belongs in a Blues Brothers movie. Should where those sunglasses and play the Peter Gun theme for the next video intro! :P
Looks like Frankenstein going down the road, all it’s missing is the black top, love it!
I love steel wheels on the charger, gives it that rum runner , back woods stripped down look that goes with its iconic styling :)
The Charger is a unique car, it doesn't matter what condition that the car is in it just looks bad ass no matter what!
Dylan, you’re a savior!
Another one rescued from the crusher, or mother rust!
God Bless!
😎
This reminds me of 1983. I had a similar condition Charger R/T (440 auto) that I bought for $500 with a 2 gallon gas can in the grill. Why don't you paint it?
Japanese cars: double wishbone fully independent suspension with coilovers. American cars: LEAF SPRINGS
great video. The open exhaust sounds cool !!
Awesome car sir! Reminds me of when I built my '67 LeMans 20-some years ago except you are doing more yourself than I did. Thank you for including the Scripture!
Nothing like a 69 Charger with steelies, meaty tires rumbling down the road. Keep doing what you do Dylan McCool! 😎👍🏾
DUDE ,YOU DO GRET WORK,KEEP IT UP,REMINDS ME OF MY YOUNGER SELF,THANK YOU
The rear Rake And Stance Looks Good @9:06 @Dylan McCool
The car sounds a lot better than it looks, love that "idle".
Love this project, cant wait till it gets off the "IV bottle" and ready for paint. Awesome job as always.
Nothing beats the sound of an old school carburated v8 period.
God I love wide tires. Very nice choice
The Charger's set up perfectly for those tires to be nicely tucked in like that!
Nice work, the old girl is sounding and looking awesome, good on ya!
Never seen the filming inside the car done quite like that before, ever. Cool shots.
it's awesome how you bring these children of Mother Mopar back to life. i don't know where you find your parts because i've been looking for a condenser for months for my 77 Power Wagon. Texas and summer is not too good without A/C.
That’s the best car dodge made hands down! That car sound too good bro .
Looking and sounding good
Nice to see a classic brought back!!!
hard work always pays off in the long run. job well done 👍👍
The gold looks good on the drums nice and Suttle @9:24 to @9:27 @Dylan McCool
I’m not crazy over mopar always been a Chevy guy but that’s one dodge I would buy is 68 or 69 charger. That’s prolly mostly because of dukes of hazard but it’s what ever lol 😂
Great old school stance and sound. Nice wheel/tire choice. Gold brakes not good or bad. Might invite curiosity from those who notice. Keep up the good work!
Don't see these chargers very much anymore awesome @Dylan McCool
Wow. One of my Dream cars. Thanks for sharing this experience with us.
