    It is a drag to think the new rear main didn't take... at least everything has been gone over and not all crusty and rusty. Was good to hear it run well on the first fireup, great days to you Dylan !

    Awesome brother, Mopar rules.I had a 1965 Chrysler Newport back in the mid 80's that I won 3 demolition derby's at the fair grounds (3 separate years) then took the 383 out of it with the transmission, put into my 1970 dart, 509 cam, intake, 3500 , converter, with a 8 and 3 quarter rear (391 gears) and ran 12.08 still burning the tires most all day, still have motor/ trans to the day, I love Mopar, your the man brother I will keep watching all videos/ live chats , even if I can't be there live I still research them, cool brother

      Chris Taylor Hey Chris! I am in the process of installing the 292/508 mopar cam in my dart sport 360. Did you advance cam any? If so how much? i am a member of forabodiesonly forum. And several members there say to advance it. I have same 3.91's and 3500 stall converter.

    Before starting an engine with a new cam, turn the idle speed screw in 1/2-3/4 turn and static-time the engine at 45-degrees before TDC or thereabouts. Have the timing light hooked up and ready to use. That edelbrock probably won't be able to idle rich enough to keep that engine happy but it can be fixed.

    A lot of work sits in this car. A few suggestions to the
    enthusiastic young owner;
    To the cooling fans, the air shroud can be fitted a
    half inch off from the radiator but the fans had to be
    at !min. 2 inches off!! from the shroud (think of a wind
    tunnel) for a good air flow. The more the better.
    This air shroud you used is junk because it doesn't
    provides a balanced air flow thru the entire water cooler.
    Check this on newer imports to compare because
    u.s.-cars never got the the same proper engeneering...
    Facts behind;
    With the swap to the 440 you had not a good idea
    because this new accessory drives are too long
    for the engine bay and as ya can see, the original
    belt routing was fitted for shorter accessory drives
    and belt routing. You want be get lucky with this
    set-up. Enjoy your car even it works not flawless.
    Original braided brake lines give a better pedal feeling
    and a longer lasting driver/owner experience. If the
    ordered brake lines fit not perfect look for another
    source which provides a better fitment.
    The bend under the brake line below the brake booster
    had to be placed in 45 degree horizontally as in this
    vertically position there could be anytime an air bubble.
    Braking with this line-up is unsafe at any speed.
