Whenever we get the thought of going on vacation, I go to your channel to see if you guys have been there and then watch the video(s). You’re great storytellers and love how descriptive you are. Thanks!!
Hey guys! Glad we bumped into your channel! Love you guys' attention quality as of late with the vlogging gear video last month. Lotsa Kara + Nate good vibes in here! Sick Broll, pacing, story-telling, everything!
We really, really appreciate that! All of that time off helped us study up how to improve our videos and we are really excited about the ones we have filmed on the road so far! 🤗
Just found your channel and subscribed. Fellow PNW here and I’m really enjoying your content and especially your editing. Look forward to more of your travels.
Great vlog...very entertaining and fun! Yes, I hope the only time you see a bear is from the van! That Mexican food looked awesome! 😋 I loved your outtake...made me laugh! 🤣
Took a trip out to Utah during the summer of 2016 for two weeks to visit a couple good friends. I was amazed at how different the northern and southern parts of the state were. The south (Mighty Five & other cool areas) get a lot of publicity and rightfully so. But the northern part of Utah in the mountains is also really cool and I enjoyed it as well. Wish I would have been able to go to Stewart Falls.
It's so crazy how different the state is! We have been to Zion and Bryce Canyon, as well as Moab a few times, but still have more parks to explore there!
Yet another state where I think of it as orange, full of desert and rocks... then you guys show me this ❤️ Spotting wildlife out on hikes is always a bonus, especially when it's something cool like a moose... and even those elk. Given how early you both started, it wasn't too surprising, but mighty glad we got to share this with you both.
Salt Lakers here 👋🏼 that's so funny to hear but totally get it. A lot of people think of Utah that way because of the famous National Parks which are very red desert, rocky and sandy. But that's southern Utah, down at the bottom. Once you start heading north, there are mountains galore, canyons, trees, rivers, many many lakes (the Uinta mountain range has over 1,000), waterfalls, snow in the winter, beUTAHful colors in the fall and then you can't forget the Salt Lake and Salt Flats. Very diverse terrain. 😊
Amazing what you notice in people's videos. Apart from the lovely scenery, I noticed a train with John Deere tractors, and love the steering wheel in your van. LOL 😂
Moose are no joke. Wife and I were on the Knowles Trail in Anchorage and came up on Mom and calf. Was a nervous few minutes with the Moose blowing smoke out her nose. Crazy!! Don’t forget to try Pecos Pit in Seattle in SoDo on 1st Ave S. Run by a couple guy is from Burkburnett, TX
Oh gosh that is terrifying! We were so scared because it wouldn’t stop staring. Just so glad that Kona didn’t seem to care (shockingly) and didn’t make it angry! And we have it on our list to hopefully check out when we are there!
Thanks so much Brad! Any favorite spots from your visit that we should check out next time? SLC is often on our route from the NW to TX, so we will definitely be back!
Just found your channel and I love it so much! Utah is home for me and we hike all the time. If you ever want trail recommendations I’d love to help☺️ And Fiiz is my favorite soda shop! Soooo good!
Thank you so much for following along! We’re so happy to have you virtually join our adventures. 🥰 And we’d love any trail recommendations for the future! We will have to try Fiiz next time too 😋
Welcome to Utah! How cool to see you explore our home state! We were born and raised here in Salt Lake and had no idea that the peanut butter bars (also known as special K bars or skotcheroos) weren't known everywhere! Fry sauce and green jello are a Utahn thing for sure though. 😆 Next time you're here stop at Taqueria 27! They make the best gourmet tacos and they always have a Fish of the Day, Drink of the Day, Gauc of the Day and Taco of the day! 🤤🤤 Also, check out the Uintas and Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. There is a place called Porcupine Pub and Grille at the base of Big Cottonwood canyon that has a cute ambiance and yummy artichoke dip! Maybe one day when it's safe to do so, we can meet up in our vans and do a hike together! Stay safe and love the videos! ✌🏼
Thank you for the warm welcome! And for all of these amazing sounding tips! We would have to go try the guac and taco of the day everyday....ya know....for research 😜 We wanted to make it to Cottonwood Canyon this trip so we will have to check it out next time! And maybe we’re just clueless, but scotcheroos are now Adam’s favorite dessert of all time and next time we have a big kitchen we are going to have to make some! We didn’t know about fry sauce or green jellos though! And we’d love to hike someday 🙌🏼🙌🏼
@@AdventuresofAplusK one more place Village Baker! If you love the special K bars, they have them fresh daily along with cookies and rice Krispy treats! So soft and yummy. They have pizza and sandwiches too. Their bread is made in house and it's SO good. Fry sauce is just ketchup and mayo mixed together. We keep it real fancy here. 😋 Glad to see you had a good time and found a new favorite dessert. We'll be watching your Idaho videos next. 😁

Thankfully no bears....yet! We would love to see one from the car though!
@@AdventuresofAplusK I so wanted to see a bear while in Alaska, but we did not ;( Guess we'll have to go back :)
Moose aren't mean, they're just enormous!
They can be aggressive if they feel threatened and we didn't want to make it feel that way. Still pretty scary having one spook us like that!
@@AdventuresofAplusK gotcha! That's with all animals, including my dog, but he's a small, 35 pounder. I'd be terrified too!
@@AdventuresofAplusK I love your vlogs so much! I'm dreaming of moving to a state that is more free than where I live and it helps watching you guys travel! 😍
Thank you so much for watching!
Next time, please film the trees and waterfall longer.
We will try!
be safe and wear mask. its mandatory in public now if you come back to jackson hole
We always wear masks (if people are nearby), mandatory or not 😊
Adventures of A plus K just an fyi. We also wear it. Hopefully this will help to eradicate the virus and we can travel again
We really hope so too! It has been interesting to see which places are enforcing it vs. not so far. 😬
Kathryn, you're so cute, watch out for the stalker moose! But yeah pretty scary coming upon that in the dark! Great video, stay safe guys! 🥰

After the moose encounter I read how they can be more dangerous than bears! 😳 We have been very on alert hiking ever since!

Must be the Texas in us!

What a awesome trip, what a awesome country! America could be soooo cool. During the last weeks, Here in europe we only see news from your insane president and all the terrible effects of the corona-pandemie. Good to see a story from the US, like we love your great country.
The US is beautiful! COVID is still really bad here, but thankfully we have seen a lot of people out who are taking many precautions. Hoping things get better here soon!
Moose are very territorial and dangerous.
Indeed they are
Try some healthy food,
You don’t see 90+% of the other food we eat 😊
