Why should you use population on villagers? If you make 1 army unit instead of 2 villagers you can actually do something useful, like fighting! Also, I need to get food to age up. Why waste food to build villager instead of stockpiling it?

9:40 resourse cheat codes are useful after liberating some villagers, I always destroy paris to reconstruct it to the last block of wall, my only concern was "should I destroy the trade workshop or not" because it is irreplaceable.

The first La Hire sounded fine to me... then he played the original. The original voice actor put way more oomph into his line delivery, maybe a bit of a caricature, but in the age of Nolan North voicing half of the video game characters in the world, some uniqueness is greatly appreciated.
I can't play DE now but from what I've seen, voice acting is in general better in the original. In DE it's not bad but as you said, compared to the original it's pretty much uncharacteristic

@@dontspikemydrink9382 Well the reinforcements from the king are a militia and a scout, its not likely they'll kill any of the imperial age units that the enemy has so setting them on no attack stance is the joke.

Siege of Paris looks pretty brutal though. I like Tei's strat of just taking out the house instead of chopping all that wood. I'll have to see how well any of this works on current patch too.

For #2, I know another way to do it pacifist: Use the troops you get at Blois to knock down a South English castle, skipping Orleans altogether. I was only able to do this on Standard, as I think the South English have more upgrades on Moderate and Hard.

Man the final one caused me so much more rage in DE than AoC, and funnily enough siege of paris felt much easier. I literally had the flag cart die just outside the square using the destroy orange strat to make red not agro.
There's a very good reason I use the Original Campaigns mod whilst playing the Definitive Edition. It's because said mod fixes the voice acting problems.
As a child the campaign was really hard for me I couldn't even complete the first joan of arc mission without cheats I did make it up to my past self by completing the entire campaign on the HD version on Steam.
Love it! I never thought you could win this campaign as a whole by being a pacifist. Though we hd a similar strategy at the last mission as I was having a hard time doing it the 'right' way! Hahaha
