the episode where frylock was down bad for that technician lady and at one point killed her husband, yeah that's probably one of most uncomfortable episodes I've ever watch from any show
For real. I caught it one time on cable late at night in like 8th grade or something

The episode that really gave me an unsettling feeling was the one where Frylock gets skin cancer and the entire episode tone shifts to deadly serious. Like, yeah, it turns out to be a simulation, but it still got me

"... Did you try telling him you don't have cancer?"
"It doesn't work that way, Meatwad."
That episode was an emotional rollercoaster that I’ve come to appreciate more as I get older

What makes "The Shaving" even more effective is how the show was pretty tame before that episode, so seeing the gory stuff MUST have traumatized some people. Oddly, I wasn't one of them.

The Cloning episode is mostly my favorite one
I remember sneaking around with my brother when we were younger to watch Adult Swim shows we were definitely too young for at the time, ATHF included. This show was one of my first exposures to this sort of in-your-face animated gore, and that, plus the fact that we knew our parents would absolutely never let us watch it if they knew what we were doing, always gave ATHF an air of foreboding to me, even before anything weird or disturbing was happening onscreen. Don’t get me wrong, the show is hilarious and I loved it (still do!) but it also gave me a feeling I’ve never really been able to adequately describe.
Honestly a creepy moment for me is just Carls Fate in the episode Hoppy Bunny, I know it’s something that’s not meant to really care about but the idea of forever being forced to play the flute while wires endlessly continue to cease control of your body kinda frightens me, honestly a fate worse than death imo
Ay I was one of the people who mentioned the microwaved cats! I remember watching it for the first time and I was just floored 😅
Great Vid! Made sure to watch all the way through so I got some suggestions here.
Allen Parts 1 and 2- Just the premise of this freaks me out. An all-seeing force that can smite you for even thinking you're being bad? No thanks. Not to mention before that with the face-hugging alien that Shake was trapped with for Allen-knows how long. The fact that he goes to an abortion clinic afterwards doesn't help matters.
Spacecadeuce- While played for laughs, this entire episode has a creepy vibe to it. The intro with the Plutonians (Mostly Oglethorpe) getting harrassed by a monster for 6 MONTHS STRAIGHT. The entire murder ship and twin ship that goes with it, it all just rung wrong with me.
Piranha Germs - Do I really gotta say it? Episode makes my stomach churn a little bit. It just goes to show that Shake should never have a job because either he's being played or he's gonna fuck it up or it's gonna fuck HIM up.
Zombie Shake and Animal Orgy - While you also have a moment in this episode, I also have an issue with the ending. The whole...Shake sexing up zombie animals that he probably killed and gets zombiefied himself, it's just....very creepy.
Couples Skate - Paul is one of the scariest thing Aqua Teen has produced and it's not even close. I don't even know what he is, and I don't really wanna know.
and the last one
Sirens 'Sex Game' - I was a kid when I watched this so I was VERY interested for a while and then...THAT scene happened and I flipped on something else and tried to remove it from my mind. To this day, it makes me wince.
A few creepy moments I remember: MC Pee Pants in Hell, the Dr. Weird intro for Super Computer where some mysterious monster killed Dr. Weird and Steve, the violence montage in Grim Reaper Gutters, Horror Claus from T-Shirt of the Living Dead, Carl getting his skin ripped off in Spacegate World, Zombie Shake in Super Birthday Snake, the ending of The Creditor where Shake and the Therapist get their skulls ripped out, the ending to She-Creature where the mob kills Shake and most of Global Grilling in general.
I think you could even expand it to other [as] shows: a few off my head are the "hunger imagery" from Space Ghost's Baffler Meal, the hallucinations from Moral Orel "Grounded," The Sheriff ripping his face off in the Squidbillies pilot, the Splat episode of The Brak Show, the Phyllis Diller Spray and Play from Robot Chicken, Rhoda's death in 12 Oz. Mouse, the Spray a Carpet or Rug episode of Tom Goes to the Mayor, the Snakes and Barrels drug trip in Metalocalypse, etc.
Or maybe the whole scene in Superjail where you can see dogs ripping each other apart. It's censored on the DVD, but not on Max.
I think my favorite thing about your channel is that it reminds me of a simpler time when i enjoyed TV shows and you doing the adult swim content is a part of my childhood (even though it probably shouldn’t) love the video hope you get to 1 million subscribers
Haven’t watched the vid yet but the episode The Cloning always reminds me of an old lost episode creepypasta and I love it.

When Meatwad learns his brain isn't a real brain it's a cat toy with a jingle bell and glitter on it, and immediately loses all his intelligence and self confidence

I love dumber days but that episode’s ending does make me angry.
Meatwad essentially demonstrated that even with his fake brain he is capable of becoming a genius beyond the comprehension of anyone else.

Great vid!! I had mentioned the Freedom Cobra ending on Twitter. Funny thing is, I actually had no idea that the credits just had hysteria and monster growls over them, because when I watched it on Hulu initially, I think it immediately cut to a bump or some ad after the end?? lol
My favorite joke from the cloning episode was when Carl said he watching channel…666.
Fry Legs. Fry Legs is so hilariously unsettling. Especially since Frylock is the "straight man" or "voice of reason" most of the time. It's like the turning point for Frylock in the series.
Also, as a stay at home mom, sometimes I just call my husband at work to tell him, "I'm in your house."
Edited to say: Great entries! If you do a part two, you could do one entry that is just the unsettling Dr. Weird and Steve segments.
Phone Spiders
The time Dr. Weird took Steve's brain out, but he was still alive somehow.
"I need to lose 40 more pounds, or I'll never be pretty!!!"
Those opening segments were always so funny.
There’s an episode in the latest season titled “The Ts are 2s” and there’s a scene where Shake has been drinking coffee for days and he’s jittery with bulging, bloodshot eyes and a crazed facial expression. I found him terrifying in that scene
What creeps me out was South Bronx Paradise..

For me personally, the creepiest episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force was the Season 10 episode Spacecadeuce. It’s a lot more psychological than alot of the other episodes and it really got into my head, especially when The Plutonians find themselves trapped within the meat eating ship. The idea of a looming threat, animated or not, had always been terrifying to me. Was legitimately uncomfortable after watching the episode. That’s just my opinion though
most of season 11 episodes were downright creepy

Anteaters aren't scary because of the way they look, but because they're actually really strong for their size and have massive claws and could probably kill a human if they were angry enough
I know The Creditor is a Predator spoof but the fact that Shake was so shook up (and still being hunted) by him he WILLINGLY signed up for a therapist to talk to someone about it is the most vulnerable I think Shake has ever been in the series. The events he tells aren’t even too goofy they feel grounded in reality for ATHF that the episode just feels a little off to me.
