Live at Jazz in Marciac 2012 Bass : Marcus Miller Trumpet : Sean Jones Saxophone : Alex Han Piano & Rhodes : Kris Bowers Guitar : Adam Agati Drums : Louis Cato
I love Marcus Miller but I need to say bass guitar is not meant to be a leading instrument. Brass sound way better. And bass is good when it does its job, which is giving the bass and rhythm.
I am a guitarist by trade, but I try everything else I can, but I pretty much leave the bass alone because I watch Marcus Miller, Stanley Clarke, and Victor Wooten, and I'm like "fuck it, I'll just go sit in the corner with my guitar and cry!"
he, the master of bass, is coming to paris. this june 2013. and i have tickets, yes i have tickets! i will see the master live. cant wait for this event.
Having a real piano on this tune made an incredible difference. The whole composition seemed to breathe and sound almost bebop natural. All we need now is for someone to tell Marcus to release on vinyl!
I saw him live in Washington, DC... I left the concert speechless. It was truly an amazing experience to watch artists that have mastered their crafts. MM is a beast!!!!
It's great that in this age where the music "Business " is ruled by marketing men there still are musicians who are as great as this and that such fantastic is still being played !
Detroit is home for me and this song captures the eloquence of the Detroit Institute of Arts and the raw funk of the most kick ass Mustang off the Ford production line. Well done gentlemen!
Worst thing about this song ..... It ended

Marcus always puts it down. The drummer is holding it together
+10 minutes isn't enough of this awesomeness, so I'm just going to click repeat again.
