I love this videos style and how open it is. You’ve never really hid your thoughts about having to live life with DID but in this video I really felt like you said it for the first time. I think these kinds of videos where you just talk about everyday life are really important for showing people more of how alters feel about their situation and how they deal with it. It’s like your sitting down and chatting with a friend. It also feels like just getting to know you, Soren, better. You’re a silly and kind person who is struggling with trusting others. But you also feel like a friend who would make sure your breathing okay after a long run, or will walk you to the nurses office , or will simply hang out with you on a rough day. Your channel is part of what is inspiring me to take up psychology, not just to learn about how the brain works, but to help people live average lives. Also, killer makeup.
My husband has a severe trauma history and struggles with dissociation (he does not have DID, but dissociation is part of his overall mental health struggles due to trauma) and seeing this was very much like watching my husband when he is actively dissociating.
I loved hearing about how a little took on a responsibility and did something you didn’t know was possible - I know that you in the past have been very strict about little safety and things like that but, I would love to see a video by that little kind of explaining having responsibility as a little, and what’s that like. maybe if you’re not comfortable sharing on youtube sharing on patreon? i just think it would be really insightful. i work with children, and i am always amazed by how much i learn from them. i’d love to hear about their experience if you’re all comfortable or find a way to make it more comfortable. love the makeup look by the way!
it’s so interesting to here from a system who can’t control their inner world. i can basically completely control my inner world (im the only one in my system who can, nobody else can make permanent fixtures, they’ll disappear over time). when we were 11 we spent a summer almost completely isolated (unrelated to the pandemic, this was long before then). to cope, i started to completely build up our inner world unknowingly. and now i can still do that a decade later -Silver
That's so cool, Silver! Our Gatekeeper is who builds, fixes, 'controls', looks after the inside and all of us, on our end. Ty for sharing, you do so much hard work! -Pan
That was definitely the best “do as I say not as I do” that I’ve ever heard, haha! I just found a perfume that I used a LOT as a teenager and when I opened it, I was unexpectedly hit with tons of flashbacks. I got super dizzy and disoriented, it wasn’t fun. Thank you all for showing us this makeup look, it’s super cute! I love it! I also love the way your hair color is fading, it’s super pretty. A lot of love to you all, Kya & Co 🖤
i swear; you have by far, the best make-up looks on RUclips. I'm always amazed at how gorgeous you look. I'm so here for your makeup-looks. Having said that; this style of content is really calming too me and it feels like a new form of videos almost. Thank you also, for leaving the near-switch. You are truly remarkable in your bravery for sharing it with us.
Just saying, as an autistic ADHDer, I already adore watching your speaking about DID videos, but I found myself even more engaged and very soothed by you also doing makeup as you speak. It's like I can feel the gentle sensations as I watch, and it helps me focus more. Plus, I love doing my own makeup, so I've been taking lots of mental notes on your technique! ✨
Omg the dizziness and slow blinking is so relatable. Tried to get help for over two years and all they do is re-refer me, they don’t know what to do with me so I’m glad that you are here sharing information
I'm so impressed that you are still able to talk despite how heavily dissociated you look. Whenever I get dissociated (non-DID related) I have a really really hard time speaking. Also, the makeup looks fire!!
Its hard to explain but your face looks so different with different alters! Even though they're the same external features it feels like Soren "wears" them differently than Kya if that makes any sense at all, love you all!❤
Forbidden chocolate mousse! Also the dots give monarch butterfly vibes, love it! I love this style of video! The music in the background is very soothing, as is watching the makeup. I don't wear any personally, but I do love watching other people apply it. It is also nice to have these chats that feel a bit more casual. The other style is informative, this feels a bit like getting personal advice from someone experienced. Both are great, I guess it just depends what you're feeling and what fits topics you want to cover.
Just wanna say that your hair looks SO damn good in every single video T_T LIKE HOWWW Also tysm for all your videos, you've sparked a big interest in psychology in me, thank you for being so open about everything and educating the world
I really enjoy hearing your personal experiences in therapy, how you process them, and how you make it work for you. It’s very relatable. Even though I don’t have DID, I enjoy hearing others’ personal experiences in therapy if they’re willing to share them.
This format is very nice, I would love to see it more often, is a lot more chill and less formal but still has good information and seriousness to it, it's nice
Hello soren! I love the video. So I’m going to leave a nice long comment to boost your video for the RUclips algorithm gods! I know it’s hard as a content creator to get the videos you worked so hard on to get going with the algorithm. So hopefully this comment gets it on its way. I used to leave really short comments just saying “hi” or “
I can't explain why but this video was super relaxing. This past month or so I've been really stressed and anxious, this is the first time in a long while where I was able to fully chill! So thank you!
I'm loving this chatty kind of setup! I wanted to understand a bit more about the "room" thing... What was the room supposed to accomplish? Like, what were the properties of the room supposed to be? Just curious, is all. I love your makeup, always. 😊 It's fun to get more examples of how things work for you in your DID.
Possibly like a 'Room of Requirment' situation for the first bit? Our Gatekeeper is the one who builds places, fixes, and runs the inside, so we have no idea and wouldn't need this, ourselves 😅
I remember learning that the olfactory bulb in the brain that processes scents is close/closely connected to the parts of the brain that process memory and emotion, so it makes sense (haha scents) that they can be strong triggers. I do like these kinds of videos, it's like watching someone paint, and the music was very calming 😊
Seeing how switchy y'all get and the dissociation that can come on suddenly, feels like seeing our own system represented or reflected back at us. Thank you so much for making these videos.
The inner world remodeling really makes alot of sense. From what I understand the inner world is essentially a complex form of dream right? So with enough imagination you can essentially do what you do in a lucid dream and bend it to your will
I've been wanting these videos for years and years, literally from Chloe's time and I'm so happy to have seen you do your makeup. The looks you create are so creative and beautiful ! Thank you ! Also you shouldn't have to apologise, if you feel switchy that's ok. And thank you for showing that, it's a vulnerable but educative thing.
I love this style of video! It feels a lot more approachable, it works well for talking about things that wouldn’t fit into a bigger video or that you don’t know enough about to share as its own video (like sharing the inner world advice your therapist talked about)
Hey DissociaDID, I've been watching your videos for a very long time now, about 3 or 4 years. and I wanted to say, Thank you all for existing. Thank you all for teaching me so much about the mind. I now have best friends with DID, and its thanks to you that I know how to be respectful to them and how to navigate our friendship. So thank you all for being so brave. I hope you all have a wonderful and joyful life.
I was playing a song for my husband and midway I realized that I couldn't talk because I was getting sucked into my teenage memories. I was able to stop the music, finish what I wanted to say, then let it play again. I don't have DID but your videos are really helping me accept my triggers. Thank you.
Always want to just hang out with you guys. Whatever you feel capable of doing and sharing is welcome ❤ this video was wonderful. And the color palette you’re rocking is sooooooo cool, very autumn butterfly or moth
I’m so excited for a soft and comfy video from y’all. I hope that it’s easier for you guys (even though there was that fun little incident with that trigger 😅) and that you feel safe enough to keep uploading stuff like this. Much love x - Bella
i actually really liked watching you put on make up while talking casually bout DID. Also you killed it with the calico cat look, that eye liner kept getting better and better.
There is such a otherworldly beauty and aura that you have physically which seems to reflect the inner complexities of your mind and having alters that are not human, so ethereal and haunting
i just started trying on makeup at 24 years old and as a beginner, i'm so impressed with the level of skill you have. i hope i can do makeup with this much ease and control soon! love this cool, relaxed style of video!
The soothing music was great. It's what helped keep me engaged, since I don't usually watch these kind of videos. I would love to see more though. The conversational tone was nice. I also enjoyed when you pointed out that Sally was close, because I could hear her voice.
I have been going through a crisis since winter where i had my first memories about extreme dissociations and i have been on a journey between forgetting, denying and freaking out about dissociation / did related to me. Right now i am convinced i could have it since i just looked back over some diagnostic criteria again. Your channel has really helped me so far especially on days where i was unsure about everything. I love this makeup and also this kind of video, would love to see more of it :)
I have been using only eyeliner for my makeup for years and I can’t wait until I can do the looks you do with your makeup, everyone look your system does is always outstanding and inspires me to experiment with my looks so thank you!! I hope you were able to get some rest after the episode at the end there 🖤
NGL super jealous of how amazing and creative you are with makeup! Love the almost feline look, with just a bit of pixie shimmer and sparkle tossed in as well. Also, thank you for not editing out the dissociating/switchy bits. All we could think about was "that is exactly what friends and family have constantly described us doing during conversations." I'm only recently becoming aware of our parts and everything has been extra messy for the last couple of months. Seeing in others what I know I/we have experienced our whole life makes it a lot easier to accept.
I sure heard and saw Sally somewhere in the beginning when you were putting on blush, a Little somewhere in the middle with the glitter, and I don't know, but sensed Amira at the end where you were dissociating heavily. Thanks for this, Friends! Love GRWM formats. Continue to heal, also from the COVID. Gained some wonderful insights-- please keep us updated on the "room alter" that the Little volunteered to create. Much love! ❤
My fave video as of late! The music, the chill talk, the insight into that breakthrough with your therapist, that was so interesting to listen to and overall calming
I have wanted to comment so many things but it’s so hard to organize all my appreciation. I often feel so alone in these struggles and how to explain, and I get so excited to see you post and often cry because of the relatability. You have helped me understand and accept so much- and while I often feel a bit insecure over just being myself.. this video helped so much. The peaceful music, the gorgeous makeup, and absolutely everything- thank you so so much for everything you share. I want to comment how thankful I am every video and I always delete, but I need to say at least once how incredibly helpful you talking about your experiences has been for me. Thank you for bringing me so much peace
I really like that type of video, podcast like, something we can put on next to us while studying. It's calming and grounding too while still giving us some insights in some things we probably wouldn't have thought about 😊 Wishing a hopeful September to the whole system 🍂
I love this laid back style of video. Also, I can’t explain it but there’s something distinctly masculine about the way you do your makeup here. Thank you for being so raw with your content, I know you’re making a lot of people feel less alone. 💜
Im so down for these chill videos! Very relaxing. I just woke up and usually put something on YT but struggle to find something that doesn't feel overwhelming and loud. This is absolutely perfect, and quite fascinating with the info that you gave about creating a space in the inner world. I love that you were able to find a professional who's a fully integrated system, i can only imagine how much that will help you heal in ways you didnt expect 💕 As a survivor of abuse, talking to people who went through the same heals you on levels you didn't know you needed. This goes for almost all traumas. Whoever is reading this, i hope you find that support too 💕
You look amazing and fierce. I love this look that isn’t very feminine or masculine. It is just gorgeous. I love your videos and this was certainly interesting. 😊
I felt like I just mentally floated through this past week; things have been a little stressful. This video was a lovely way to end it off and I know that I would love to see more videos like this from you guys in the future Lots of love from South Africa ❤❤
I was able to deep clean most of my kitchen while this video was playing. I love having a clean space, but struggle to clean at times. Your video felt like a face time call with a bff - excellent body double and I was able to get more done in the last 30 min than I was all day. Thank you for existing, I hope you have a fantastic day 🩵
Loved this beautiful tutorial and the gentle chatting about DID! I'm so sorry about all the switching exhaustion 😕 but hope you all got some good rest and lots of care afterwards. Hope to see everyone again soon-loved this format! 🤩
I really like this style of video. I am not a DID system, but you make me feel so seen. You talk about some aspects of DID that can apply to me, and it makes me feel less alone even though I do not have the disorder. It feels like I’m talking with a friend I trust.
I really love this video❤ Also I think it makes sense that places in the inner world simply works if they need to work, every alter and place is made up by your brain and function on their own because your brain coordinates everything so that you can live your life. Alters are their own people, working independently, places in the inner world are too. As long as your brain-logic says something will aid you (wether it actually is or not) it will work.
This video was really relaxing to watch, I'm always happy to see that how much more confident and comfortable you got in from of the camera over the years. Also this haircut is so cute I love it so much
Soren what you said about your discomfort when not being in control really resonated with me. I’m not a system but I do struggle with severe anxiety having to do with not being in control of situations, how to “fix” things, etc. I hope you can find some freedom in letting others be in charge as needed. I enjoyed this style of video and I hope you did too. I would watch this sort of content again as long as you feel comfortable with making it.
This is one of most lovely videos on this channel. I am here from long time ago, following from time to time from two different accounts and always enjoy content... But this one is like meditative time for all of us. And like it is all coming together, after all struggles, this is like introduction to calm healing era of system and healing. Wishing you all well! I hope all you that are watching have a pleasant Sunday evening.✨🐞
I like this make-up and chat video idea, especially as I got the vibe that it is easier for you all to do as you are doing something else that keeps your body busy whilst you chat. As someone with ADHD I find often find it easier to engage in certain board games or watch educational videos and stuff when my hands are busy doing things like crochet.
I love this style video of like a casual chat while doing something (makeup, arts/crafts, drawing, etc) could be anything! I'm also just blown away with the graphic liner you're able to do on the body! I would LOVE a tutorial on it, but otherwise I love the chill more relaxed videos, it feels very cosy and like you're chatting with a friend :)
hey I saw a TikTok of someone testing their old eyeshadow palette for bacteria growths and there was like absolutely nothing growing in the Petri dish, so you're probably completely fine using your old makeup haha. as long as it stays dry, the only thing that changes after the "expiration date" is likely just the texture:) as usual your makeup is flawless, and this style of video is honestly very nice!
The hair, the make up, the outfit! Such a fabulous combo, you matched the colors so well together and you did the make up so flawless too! ❤ Such a relaxing video, so cozy. 🥰
hey nin. idk if u will see this or not but i have OSDD. remembring u from anthony's videos and seeing that u have started frequently uploading again feels soo good. it just feels nice to know other ppl with a harder chalange have made it. and are still making it, u are a hero to me. thank you
Even before you said calico cat I was thinking calico cat! Love the look. Also, bit random, but I was watching Cats the Musical songs (1980s one), and Mungojerrie made me think of Soren a little, just kind of tone of speaking, expression sometimes, that kind of playful side. And also because Mungojerrie is a duo with his sister Rumpleteazer and Soren is a duo with his sister. Anyway, you're also kind of wearing Mungojerrie colors, which really brought the association back to forefront for me.
Please continue to do videos like this. Not only was I in tears because you were putting words to experiences that I don't know how to describe, but I sometimes I send your videos to my therapist because your words help me to tell her what I'm feeling, and then we can discuss from there my experiences.

We have one who'd LOVE to speak on this, but I'm not sure we would allow it so I'll have to speak to the System before promising anything 🧡
@@DissociaDID Perhaps the little could write answers like a Q&A or something so they won't be on camera?
@@theyxajThis is much better!
@@theyxajthat’s actually a really good idea
it’s so interesting to here from a system who can’t control their inner world. i can basically completely control my inner world (im the only one in my system who can, nobody else can make permanent fixtures, they’ll disappear over time).
when we were 11 we spent a summer almost completely isolated (unrelated to the pandemic, this was long before then). to cope, i started to completely build up our inner world unknowingly. and now i can still do that a decade later -Silver
That's so cool, Silver! Our Gatekeeper is who builds, fixes, 'controls', looks after the inside and all of us, on our end. Ty for sharing, you do so much hard work! -Pan
The finished makeup look was so pretty! I remember Chloe & Nadia many years ago made a talky makeup video, and it was calming and nice :)
We remember that one, too 🥺 We think about it every day -Aris & Pan
Also, the makeup looks fire!!
this is a perfect example of owning a cat 😂 I love it
the way your voice gets more angelical because sally is close, so cute
Its hard to explain but your face looks so different with different alters! Even though they're the same external features it feels like Soren "wears" them differently than Kya if that makes any sense at all, love you all!❤
This video is so cosy and calm, I even felt an asmr effect 😌 Definitely would love to see more of such videos ❤
I’ve been checking your account for new videos, so glad you guys are ok!!
We are! Still testing positive for COVID so still resting up but managed to finish editing this! (it was filmed before we got sick) ❤️
Just wanna say that your hair looks SO damn good in every single video T_T LIKE HOWWW
Also tysm for all your videos, you've sparked a big interest in psychology in me, thank you for being so open about everything and educating the world
This is so sweet, I'm glad we could inspire you!
I used to leave really short comments just saying “hi” or “
Thank you so much, we appreciate you boosting us and your support too! Have a lovely day and enjoy the video! 🧡
The eye make-up reminds me of a monarch butterfly. The orange, black, white and golden. :) 🦋
I like it a lot
So with enough imagination you can essentially do what you do in a lucid dream and bend it to your will
Kind of, kind of not 😅 It's complicated, haha! -Aris & Pan
I actually thought you had died your hair this way and I really love it. It really does remind me of a calico cat. The makeup turned out amazing ❤
It feels a lot more approachable, it works well for talking about things that wouldn’t fit into a bigger video or that you don’t know enough about to share as its own video (like sharing the inner world advice your therapist talked about)
This video format is awesome! I like to rewatch your livestreams as background and the chatty casual videos have that same vibe!
Thank you guys for helping me come to terms with the fact that I'm now host in our system.
So much love to u 💙💙 -Aris & Pan
Hey DissociaDID, I've been watching your videos for a very long time now, about 3 or 4 years. and I wanted to say, Thank you all for existing. Thank you all for teaching me so much about the mind. I now have best friends with DID, and its thanks to you that I know how to be respectful to them and how to navigate our friendship. So thank you all for being so brave. I hope you all have a wonderful and joyful life.
Hearing how your therapist gave you a way to do something was fascinating. Thanks for sharing that.
I was playing a song for my husband and midway I realized that I couldn't talk because I was getting sucked into my teenage memories. I was able to stop the music, finish what I wanted to say, then let it play again. I don't have DID but your videos are really helping me accept my triggers. Thank you.
I love these videos! I came to learn about DID and stayed because of you and your system. These videos are the perfect mix
Always want to just hang out with you guys. Whatever you feel capable of doing and sharing is welcome ❤ this video was wonderful. And the color palette you’re rocking is sooooooo cool, very autumn butterfly or moth
i liked the story about your therapist, it was really sweet and comforting
I’m so excited for a soft and comfy video from y’all. I hope that it’s easier for you guys (even though there was that fun little incident with that trigger 😅) and that you feel safe enough to keep uploading stuff like this. Much love x - Bella
i actually really liked watching you put on make up while talking casually bout DID. Also you killed it with the calico cat look, that eye liner kept getting better and better.
There is such a otherworldly beauty and aura that you have physically which seems to reflect the inner complexities of your mind and having alters that are not human, so ethereal and haunting
It’s giving retro futurism, dude you look so COOL, great job!!
i just started trying on makeup at 24 years old and as a beginner, i'm so impressed with the level of skill you have. i hope i can do makeup with this much ease and control soon! love this cool, relaxed style of video!
I hope you were able to get some rest after the episode at the end there 🖤
12:45 20/10 would love more of this content, especially if this kind of content is easier for y’all to make!! 🫶🏻
Seeing in others what I know I/we have experienced our whole life makes it a lot easier to accept.
i adore the transparency about what you have and have not done to your face. that is soooo important for some people’s self esteem
it's actually really nice with these get ready with me and chat. you seem to be more comfortable and relaxed 🥰
Much love! ❤
I'm actually really enjoying this style of video- I was pretty stressed before watching and it's helped me calm down a lot
I think this video really made us get to know Soren. Even better than meet the alters and alters draw themselves.
Happy Sunday to all! Excited for this video~
These are some of my favorite types of videos from y’all. I love the calm vibes
Im so down for these chill videos! Very relaxing. I just woke up and usually put something on YT but struggle to find something that doesn't feel overwhelming and loud.
This is absolutely perfect, and quite fascinating with the info that you gave about creating a space in the inner world. I love that you were able to find a professional who's a fully integrated system, i can only imagine how much that will help you heal in ways you didnt expect 💕
As a survivor of abuse, talking to people who went through the same heals you on levels you didn't know you needed. This goes for almost all traumas. Whoever is reading this, i hope you find that support too 💕
You look amazing and fierce. I love this look that isn’t very feminine or masculine. It is just gorgeous.
I love your videos and this was certainly interesting. 😊
I love how your shirt matches too, everything works so well together
I felt like I just mentally floated through this past week; things have been a little stressful. This video was a lovely way to end it off and I know that I would love to see more videos like this from you guys in the future
Lots of love from South Africa ❤❤
We love our system members so much, extra system member appreciation to anyone who needs it! ^-^ -Pan & Aris
I absolutely love these videos, thank you guys for all the great content you give us and for working to destigmatise DID
This is one of most lovely videos on this channel. I am here from long time ago, following from time to time from two different accounts and always enjoy content... But this one is like meditative time for all of us. And like it is all coming together, after all struggles, this is like introduction to calm healing era of system and healing. Wishing you all well!
I hope all you that are watching have a pleasant Sunday evening.✨🐞
dissociating can be so painful and disorienting, especially when it persists for a long while. i loved the video!! super calm and relaxing. thanks!
This is such a calm and lovely video, I love it and I'm glad we got to kind of hang out with you a little bit. I hope you guys are doing well ❤
I like this make-up and chat video idea, especially as I got the vibe that it is easier for you all to do as you are doing something else that keeps your body busy whilst you chat.
Such a relaxing video, so cozy. 🥰
hey nin. idk if u will see this or not but i have OSDD. remembring u from anthony's videos and seeing that u have started frequently uploading again feels soo good. it just feels nice to know other ppl with a harder chalange have made it. and are still making it, u are a hero to me. thank you
Even before you said calico cat I was thinking calico cat!
