- Requested by Zaire Smith, but I kind of butchered it. I'll do a retake down the road.
This time, I break all the rules I should really be following and wash very light items with very heavy items. (AKA: Curtains AND towels in the same load.) Don't do this. I did. But don't.
Cycle: Heavy
Wash Temp: Warm
Water Level: Auto Sensing initially, switched to Deep Water Wash midway through.
Rinse Option: Auto + Extra Rinse - Развлечения
This is the last time that we will see curtains making appearances in these loads.
Future loads after this will be towels, sheets, or other bedding. MAYBE everyday clothes if I ever get the chance.
I love your videos Jerry!
:)
Nice machine and nice video it washed those curtains and towels very well I like all your videos I like whirlpool washers
Oh my god wow
I see that there is a cut in the Video at 18:18.
Why is that, just may I curiously ask? 🤔
I knew that it would spin balanced. It’s a Whirlpool and they have that sensor that balances on its way spinning up senescing centrifugal force and where the weight is in the basket that no one else has. They’re the best wth hanging suspensions.
I guess the heavy cycle is a bit different from heavy duty. The heavy cycle spray rinses?, the heavy duty cycle does not.
Honestly if it wasn't for the joke of a bulky cycle I would consider one of these again. This has good wash action. I'm glad they went back to the original VMW design impeller.
This impeller design is so much better than the flat ones.
Oh, and you'll definitely hear a thing or two from me about the bulky cycle... LOL
@@Smurdle450 Any of us who had these machines will more than likely sing the same tune...lol.
The bulky cycle is so bad because it fills all the way up, but the agitator isn't strong enough to actually pull clothes down 💀💀
Got my old number and account back ! Thank the Lord !
@@patcola7335 great to hear!
This is a much more effective washer than the new GE that Kirk is testing. It senses and refills more quickly and balances the load. It also blooms with little water.
This thing does a fairly impressive job for a washplate machine. Sadly however, the bulky cycle is absolutely laughable. video coming soon enough.
@Kevin Cook I’ve always done well with Whirlpool products. Their washers are fantastic and always have been. Their dishwashers are second to none and their Kitchenaid lineup is superfluous. Both are tops in reliability, performance and loading options and I like that you can’t accidentally pull the bottom rack out too far. Their refrigerators are also the best in the business. The cooking appliances tie with GE so if you want all matching appliances a full suite of Whirlpool, Kitchenaid or Maytags would be the way to go. That would be Kitchenaid in the kitchen and Maytag in the laundry room or all Maytag or all Maytag or all Whirlpool. A person could also go all Amana on a budget and do very well for themselves and be set for years. Particularly since Amana makes a front loader which GE doesn’t. It could save them utility costs. That’s a good thing for budget consumers.
@@Smurdle450 Bulky cycles on all of these impeller machines are a joke. They just float back and forth a little. I don’t know what it’s for.
Good wash action. The taller wash plates are definitely better for these machines.
@@LlyleHunter The one that isn't a joke is the F&P Aquasmart
kirk is streaming
Rules are made to be broken hehe
There is a reason for the short burst of water before the drain. It’s to free up the fabric from a bunch so that it can distribute when it goes into a spin. Also watch the entire tub assembly on a Whirlpool. It drops during the drain, lowering the center of gravity for the spin cycle.
Well today I learned.

just a terrible design....
I agree with this not being a good machine.
I must say, however, I have used much worse.
