  • Storm Isha hit Cornwall in the middle of Sunday / Monday night. I didn't really fancy getting up at 2am in the rain to film it at its peak. However there was plenty left over on Monday morning and not only had the wind dropped but the sun was shining.
The swell hadn't dropped much from Sunday night and there were some huge waves. I headed west - practically to Lands End. The waves must have been pushing 20 feet off Sennen and they were pretty spectacular at Porthcurno.
If in any doubt about the size of some of these waves, look for the birds. When you see one of the little white dots skimming up the face of a wave you can tell how huge it is.
I also headed over to Cape Cornwall - one of my favourite storm watching spots.
    Storm Jocelyn incoming...
